Shrimp basket dinner option with sweet potatoes

$33 for 10 shrimp and some over fried sweet potatoes, are you kidding me. I understand that prices are more in these days, but this is just unacceptable, because the quality is so poor. How hard is to fry sweet potato???

Love the variety and sweet service of the restaurant. Food is yummy, but not mind blowing. Have had better and worse pasta and poboys. Try the wings, they're very good

Outdoor seating on a warm spring day?? Yes, please!! Excellent, friendly counter service. Big, varied menu of po-boys, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Plenty of good looking choices. The fries. Meh. Kinda thin, and meed another minute or so in the fryer (just for a little more crunch and GBD - golden brown deliciousness). The shrimp po-boy is really good with fresh tasting shrimp and crusty New Orleans style bread (toasted, too) The real star of our meal was the Buffalo Nickel Chicken sandwich. I asked for blue cheese crumbles and they delivered!! The cheese was melted and the buffalo sauce was perfect! Definitely worth a stop if you are anywhere close by.

The burgers @ Tripple Nickle were amazing...generous size perfectly cooked by the cook Wil ! I ordered the loco jalapeño burger so good the cheese was melted all over a bed of jalapeños... the sides were fries AND fried and battered jalapeños so good. The restaurant environment was clean and fun and the service was top notch.

We have passed this place many times, decided to stop in and check it out. We thought they served breakfast. But its only sandwiches and burgers. The inside is cheery and inviting. Its a small place within a small plaza. Staff were very friendly. This is a cafeteria style diner. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. The menu has plenty of options. She got the burger with red sauce and cheese. I got a Swiss mushroom burger with fries. It was actually quite good. I'd put it up there with some of the best burgers I've had. For you felons , that are on the lam or think about violating a few statutes of man, this place seems to be a very popular Lawman hangout. Wear a wig and shades.

The Triple Nickel is the place to eat after a game at Pelican Park. I am sure there are other reasons one would travel to The Triple Nickel to eat, but I have always found myself stopping in on my way back from nearby Pelican Park. From the looks of the clientele, I would wager that on weekends a large majority of folks eating here had also come from kid's sporting events. The restaurant is simple. Order at the counter, pay, get a number and fill your drinks from the soda fountain. The kitchen is open and you can watch the chefs prepare your food if you're so inclined. The menu is also simple. Burgers, sandwiches and salads make up the majority of the items. My favorites are the cheese fries, burgers, club sandwich and buffalo chicken sandwich. The club is particularly good with crispy bacon and fresh turkey and ham. Prices are on par with the other counter order type restaurants in the area. Since it is the spot to eat after visiting the park, it can get crowded, but the staff does a good job handling the crowds. Your longest wait will be in line ordering. If you need to kill time while waiting for your food there are a couple of video games towards the front door that your kids are likely to pester you for quarters to play. If you're looking for a good, consistent, casual restaurant, check out The Triple Nickel.

Low key, but great food each and every time I go. They aren't fancy but they do a wonderful job. Plan to continue going back.

They are pricey but the best burgers I've ever had. I dislike the fries but the salad substitute works great for me.

Not as good as it used to be. So disappointed. Food was average, people were nice. Hopefully they figure it out.

The sandwiches aren't to bad but I can't support any business that keeps Fox News on the television all day . I won't be back

I certainly appreciate them making it work. Crazy Pig has an excellent menu for breakfast with lots of different options We went on a Sunday morning I got one of the omelettes I think mine was the lean omelette Everything comes with bread and or biscuit I can't eat bread or biscuit so our waiter offered me avocado and tomatoes, which were a perfect choice to go with my omelette Most restaurant places that I've been to usually just remove the item without offering a substitution I was so happy with the alternate options I spoke with the owner to let her know that I appreciate having the tomato and the avocado instead of the bread and the biscuit. Then she told me that they just had a class on food allergies This is really exceptional that a restaurant is taking up their own initiative to learn about food allergies so that they can service their customers with better care While the food is definitely excellent with the capacity to offer different options for the different dietary needs that people have and the staff is educated, I just wish that they had better coffee at the Mandeville location like a cappuccino or a café latte Still an excellent choice

My family and I came here to celebrate my birthday and we had the best time!…read more To start, we ordered drinks all around: Autumn Espresso Martini flight, Autumn Mule, Pumpkin Spice White Russian, and a Spiced Brown Old Fashioned! The espresso flight included pumpkin spice, toasted marshmallow, and cinnamon and all were DELICIOUS! They were full sized and very reasonably priced. The Pumpkin Spice White Russian was a bit of a miss, but our waiter was very accommodating. For starters, we got the Seafood Dip and Zydeco Egg rolls. We knew after these arrived that this would be a new favorite spot. The seafood in both dishes was plentiful and we could not get enough of both dishes. For entrees, the table has the Skirt Steak, Bayou Mac and Cheese, Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinsa, Shrimp and Crawfish Gouda Grits, and Cajun Pasta. We were sharing with one another and did not find anything we didn't like. We decided the pizza was our favorite. The crust was perfect! For dessert, we had the Biscoff Bread Pudding and Blueberry Crumble Cheesecake. The bread pudding was so well done. It wasn't too sweet and the strawberries were perfect! The vibes were super cool with the moody lighting and table lamp. The art was very sleek and modern. We had a great waiter who gave us recommendations, checked in on us often, and was overall very accommodating. One of the best parts, is that for all of our meal we paid a very reasonable price for a quality that was super high. I couldn't recommend this place more!!!
