The beef had ZERO taste and was dry. The shrimp were bland and didn't have the crunch that fresh shrimp have. Also if you order from their Yelp page, BE CAREFUL! If you click on "order takeout or delivery", the prices will be higher even if you're going to take out the food. If you want to order online, click on "website" and order from "order online". Solid pho shop with big portions. The price for the large bowl of pho is fair (about $10), and it provides a pretty satisfying meal. The broth's flavor is on the more subtle side, so if you're used to a more explicit, in-you-face soup, you may need to reach for more Sriracha. There's a decent amount of meat, but they aren't the highest grade (in my opinion), and they provide plenty of noodles to pair with it. I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee, which was okay, but not amazing. The customer service was also hit and miss. At times, they were making sure our cups of water were filled, and checking on us frequently. Other times, the staff seemed disinterested in coming near our table. Also, as we were waiting to settle the bill, one of the cashiers yelled at one of his colleagues about something. It was my first time at this location. I usually go to the one in Vista. This is soooo much nicer than the one in Vista and their menu seems to be a little different. (Unless they changed the one in Vista and I just haven't been in a while). They have ban xeo (Vietnamese crispy yellow pancake) here! And their ban xeo is crispier than any other place I've been too! I always have to ask for extra crispy at other places. My only complaint is that their fish sauce seems like it's been watered down and is lacking flavor. The restaurant looked new, clean, and modern. There was even a bar area (if memory serves me correctly). Service was on point. Prices were very reasonable. Both the wife and I chose from their Lunch specials. I had the Banh Mi with chicken while she chose the Banh Mi with beef. Each special also came with a side. Egg rolls I had were tasty. Wife's fresh Spring Roll wth peanut sauce was totally good. Niece got the #10 Pho with rare steak and well done steak. All the food was delicious. Niece gave her meal 4 stars. Both Wifey and myself preferred the Banh Mi with Beef. That was one of the better Vietnamese sandwiches that I have tried. Highly recommend. Ordered pho tai over the phone. When I got home, I realized they didn't give me any beef. Just a noodle broth soup for $15. It was a long drive, so I tried to call first to see if they could make it right. Our experience here was amazing. The food was delicious. We had several appetizers my family loved the shrimp. The service was great, we sat outside and they were implementing social distancing and using proper protection measures. We came for dinner and, it was pretty chaotic, but the servers were working hard and we were all very pleased with our meal.
