    Pad Thai

Decided to try this place for the first time on a Tuesday evening back in March. We've gone a couple more times since then. It's not a big place so it wouldn't be good for large groups. Each time, the employees - especially the ladies who work there, have been so friendly & helpful. The dishes always arrive in a timely manner with good presentation. The food's consistently good, good portions and good price point. We've had pad thai, drunken noodle & some of the different curries. The spice levels have been spot on. Our favorite Thai dessert, sticky rice with mango is different at this place. It's made with a purple rice with a slightly harder texture which tastes ok but not our preference. We've had to go to other Thai restaurants for that. Other than that, it's a good place to get good Thai food. We'll definitely be back.

A small, quaint place with indoor/outdoor seating. The service was excellent. I was having to wear a sling from surgery and the server helped me pack up my leftovers. The food is good but not mind blowing. Definitely will return

Shrimp Woonsen on left. Chicken Pad Thai (w/o sprouts, tofu and peanuts) on right. Both were great.

Lovely place. Small, intimate dining with lots of takeout traffic. Waiter, Tyler, was charming and hospitable. My favorite dish, Pad Woonsen, wasn't on the menu, so I asked if they had it. Tyler said it is off-menu but available. Shrimp had good texture and flavor and was plentiful. Iced water came with cucumber. So refreshing! In short, great food, service and ambiance. Will most definitely return to explore more of their dishes.

Small little restaurant, friendly staff! Food was very good, we got the crispy pork belly app, yellow curry, pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. I would definitely order everything again, though fried rice is a little pricey $17. Will definitely be back

    Ginger chicken lunch special

This place was disappointing. I was looking forward to Thai food and was really excited when I was asked "how spicy, on a scale of 1-10". Things quickly went down hill from there. We ordered from the lunch menu which was a good deal. But more on that later. To start, we ordered the papaya salad. Off of the lunch menu, which boasted soup, salad, and an appetizer, I got drunken noodles with chicken and my boyfriend got "ginger" with chicken. First, it took a while for water to come, and then there was a bug in mine but our waiter quickly replaced it. Then, the papaya salad came out and it was really bland. It tasted like they used watered down fish sauce instead of the real thing. The papaya was fresh and crispy though. Our meal started out with a small bowl of soup. It was some sort of sour broth (really yummy) with clearly frozen peas and carrots. Strange, but tasty enough. The appetizer was what got me. Two pieces of fried wonton wrappers with what appeared to be a single piece of spinach inside. And it came with a dipping sauce. That was strange. Was it a garnish? Some type of crouton? Why was there sauce? Was it supposed to have filling but they forgot? Regardless, I ate it because it was fried and fried things by nature are delicious even when they are void of filling. The salad had a finger dressing which was watery but tasty. My "drunken" noodles were dry and completely sober. The noodles were spicy, which I had asked for, but it didn't taste like there was any drunken flavors in it. My boyfriend's dish was a lot better and saucier and came with rice. Overall, not really great Thai food.

Best Panang curry in the area, and I've tried them all! Great service, too, they always seem happy, and it's our go-to place.

Ehhh it was okay. A bit bland and the pad Thai wasn't that flavorful. Portions were a bit on the small side.

Love their yellow chicken curry and shrimp spring rolls. Best in Encinitas! Mild is spicy enough if you like medium temp

I think it was happy hour, and it was pretty quiet to start. Edgar the bartender greeted me. I sat at the bar and ordered a strawberry mango cooler, which doesn't contain alcohol. I also ordered chips and guacamole. The cooler was super sweet so I probably would order something else next time. The chips and guacamole were really good. The guacamole was super fresh and it had sliced jalapeños in it that you could easily pick out if you don't like spice, but I do like the spice and I enjoyed it a lot.. When I left, quite a few people had come in for happy hour and it was a fun, festive atmosphere. You can sit partially outside which is also nice! I'm so happy CPK is in my neighborhood. They quietly opened in November 2025, but I only just found out recently. I have enjoyed their salads a lot in the past (amongst other things) so I look forward to coming back for lunch or happy hour.

The inside is quite small with a limited number of tables, and their back service area seems to be quite cramped, and in a constant state of confusion and disarray. It's also nearly always quite chilly in the restaurant, to the point of being uncomfortable. We loved the Solana Beach location, but sadly, this is a pale replacement. We have been loyal CPK customers for many years, but not sure loyalty is going to be enough to keep us going back to this location.

The food is incredibly fresh and perfect if you're looking for healthy, on-the-go options that don't sacrifice flavor. It's also one of those rare places that truly works for everyone -- families, friends catching up, casual dates, or even a solo stop. There's also really cute to dog oriented, snack, snacks, and outfits. I'll have to check out their wine in more detail. I mean from the grocery store if you head back then you go straight into the farm grounds. There is a 12 or $15 charge for a farm tour but if you have kids, it's perfect cause you get to go see the farm animals, including the owner's horse and they have a cute little train ride. In the back is also a brewery of their craft brews. See them in pictures I've added. I definitely need to go back to check out the craft brewery. -No dogs allowed on the farm portion I went upstairs to have brunch, which is a new addition to the area. Staff was definitely attentive. I recommend making reservations for this so that you get the tables either outside overlooking the farm or the field. We did a walk-in for four people so we could only get a table on the inside. It's definitely a cool place to hang out temperature wise. Food was pretty quick to come out. Portion sizes are moderate to big that we had to take home some stuff. We did have an issue where the chicken was undercooked, but they were able to remedy that very quickly. Definitely get the beet hummus. I only wish they had more crudités accompany it. You can see it only came out in a small little dish. Probably would recommend either sizing down the hummus or going up on the vegetables to make it a little bit more complete. The chicken and pancake was definitely interesting and not what I expected. Pancake is carrot and lemon, but you can't really taste the lemon. It only had sparse carrot in it, but definitely still worth a taste. The chicken was definitely savory and more herby so it kind of overpowered the pancake a bit. Definitely chicken packed. Fries came out pretty soggy, which was a downside. The root vegetable has looked pretty good and it was definitely a sizable portion. The eggs and pasture was a little bit interesting in the sense that day. It was kind of a fried egg surrounded by a pasta sauce and then there's bread ciabatta slices on the plate. It's pretty good not overly salty or overly tart for the sauce. Definitely a good keto/Paleo option if you don't eat the bread. We also had their banana bread, which was really good - it wasn't able to take pictures of it since we demolished it pretty quickly. I highly recommend any bakery items. It's a very family friendly affair as we saw large families with numerous children coming in and you can have a place to let the dogs run in the small field front of the restaurant. I saw a lot of other families is bringing their dogs out onto the patio portion of the restaurant. Overall, the ambience is very family friendly and I would definitely come back here again for a chill morning brunch. Note that they close at 1 PM for brunch! Warning: that there's a limited parking so you need to get there early! They will have a traffic mediator once it's full
