The service was friendly and everything came out quickly and nicely plated. I started with the Thai iced tea, which was delicious. I also really liked the lunch specials, which run from 11am to 2pm and are both under $17, which makes them a really good value. My dining partner ordered the yellow curry with combo protein and really enjoyed it. I had the garlic chicken, which was super flavorful without being overpowering. It came with soup, an egg roll, a potsticker, cucumbers, and fruit, which made it feel like a great lunch deal. Overall, it was a solid first visit and I'd definitely come back again. read more

Wow! This has to be the BEST chicken satay I have ever had! I needed a quick bite of protein and, if I'm being honest, wanted a treat of plain white Thai sticky rice as well. The sticky rice was as good as I imagined, but the satay was a fabulously pleasant surprise. Not only was the chicken tender, it was a generous potion of breast meat on each of the four sticks. The accompanying peanut sauce was also good and not too sweet. This was a spur of the moment choice while I was in the area, so I didn't order until I walked in. The lady who took my order and payment was very nice and had a warm, caring smile. This Wednesday night there was a steady stream of pickup orders, walk-in to-go orders, like me, and customers dining in. I only waited about 15mins and received a discount for paying cash. While waiting, I admired the low light, intimate setting with plenty of room for couples or groups. The decor was festive for the holidays, but also beautiful Thai touches. A very nice space. Hubby & I have done dinner take out from here so when an opportunity came up to meet friends at the restaurant I jumped at the chance to check it out. So came for lunch to meet with a few friends. Good menu options but I settled for the lunch deal (spicy basil chicken which came with an egg roll, potsticker, soup and pickled cucumber salad). I thought my spicy chicken basil dish could've used more basil but I was hungry and it was good enough to keep eatting. The mango sticky rice for dessert is always a good end to a meal. Came here around 5pm for dinner with friends and it was pretty empty - the dinner rush came about an hour later. It's a smaller restaurant, but it looks like a lot of folks would come in for takeout. I ordered the Pad Thai with Tofu and a Thai Tea with Boba. My food was delicious - the Pad Thai hit all of the notes; I will say that I ordered it at a spicy 7, and it was still mild for my taste so just note that if you're looking for some more kick to your plate. The Thai Tea was absolutely huge - think one of those extra large soda cups from a fast food restaurant. Definitely consider sharing. I would just get the Thai tea by itself next time, as the boba pearls did not add much to the experience. We are frequent customers here and were very disappointed with our recent takeout order. The main issue was the spice level. Our receipt clearly listed "not spicy" and "mild" for multiple dishes, yet most came out far spicier than requested. We had to add sugar just to tone down the spice level, which shouldn't be necessary when spice preferences are clearly stated. Our 91-year-old mom was craving Thai food and cannot have spicy food, which made this especially disappointing. The dishes visibly contained red pepper flakes and chili-heavy sauce, directly contradicting our order. We understand that it was Christmas Day and the restaurant was very busy, and we appreciate the staff working on a holiday. That said, honoring clearly requested spice levels--especially for customers who cannot tolerate heat--is essential. We hope this feedback is taken in the spirit intended, as we would like to continue ordering here. There are other businesses in the plaza. Sign says no public restrooms but there are restrooms for customers. Small cozy place with a handful of tables. There was no wait on a Sunday for lunch. Food comes out pretty fast. Tried the green curry (asked zero spice but still came out with a kick), pad see ew chicken and sweet and sour pork. Portion sizes are small to decent, pad see ew didn't have a lot of noodles. For proteins, there are options of M duck and M chicken. M stands for imitation (as in not real meat, comes from a can). The service was mediocre at best, but that's not the reason for this review.. I have frequented Thai restaurants for the past 30 years and know a thing or two. The soups here tasted of a "sweet chemical" which we both noticed and commended on, but helped ourselves anyway. Let's just say within half an hour of eating it caused a complete purge in the form of severe diarrhea. The body hit the flush button of whatever toxin had just been eaten, then causing bloating the next day. We suspect they're using chemical sweeteners or a premade broth full of preservatives... either that, or they're putting laxatives in their soup. I recommend you do not go to this place. read more

I've been here twice now and I am not disappointed! Portions are large and you can customize the spice! They truly do Thai hot, my friend loves spice and she was saying it was to her standards. We ordered Pad See-ewe with a Combo meat, minus shrimp and an order of Thai Samosa's The Samosa's themself seemed cooked well, however the really were devoid of flavor, I don't think that I would order these again. The Pad See-ewe came out with Shrimp, which we had ordered it without, the server apologized took the plate and came back a little while later with our order. Clearly it was the same order with the shrimp now picked out, and it was also cold. While I do not have a shrimp allergy, I feel that is not acceptable handling of a kitchen mistake. I could have picked the shrimp out myself. The other meat on the plate, pork and chicken were both extremely dry, the noodles were actually quite good. The only issue with the noodles is that there were not very many of them, for a noodle dish. We ordered chicken pad se ew & the seafood pad se ew. The presentation of the food gave me high hopes but I wasn't impressed. My boyfriend enjoyed his- which was the seafood option. However there were some really chewy mussels, he enjoyed it. My chicken pad se ew honestly didn't have any flavor... I was pretty disappointed. The veggies were close to raw... the Chinese broccoli had a chemical taste to it. I doused my food in chili paste to make it flavorful. If my review were based solely upon the flavor and presentation of their food I'd be inclined to rate this sweet little Thai restaurant three stars. Their parking is ample and easily accessible in the free lot directly outside the front door. This is always a plus. We always enjoy their affordable lunch specials. These specials include a cup of savory soup (which I was craving while feeling the beginnings of a scratchy cold). The waiter was the downside of this meal. I waited tables for years and couldn't help but notice him pulling the same old stunts I've watched sly coworkers pull back in the day. I had raced to arrive before their 3:00 cut-off for their lunch special. I kid you not---at 2:50 pm I was the ONLY customer in the place. He instructed me to take any table I want. I chose a table about five feet from where he stood....ignoring me COMPLETELY until it was too late to qualify for their lunch special. Oh lord. Really Sir? I decided to give him benefit of the doubt, thinking to myself: "Who knows what troubles this man may be facing today in his own life?" Because he finally glanced my way promptly at 3 pm was no longer eligible to order any tasty lunch special. I was forced to order only from their dinner menu, I selected a large potful of their Tom Yum Soup with chicken in it for the head cold I suspected was beginning to strike. Their soup presentation is lovely with a flame shooting up through the middle of the bowl. The soup was watery so I requested a side of Jasmine rice. He eventually returned with the rice. By the time he showed up the warming flame had dissolved and the soup was now barely warm. I ordered their Chicken Satay to bring home to my daughter. She found it inedible and offered it to me. I could barely manage one bite. What annoyed me most was this man's tricks when it came to paying my bill. I paid in cash for our two meals. Figured in a generous tip --- mostly just to be kind. His service had been lacking on every level. Thinking he was being sly he brought me my change----one $1 bill, four $10 bills and one $20. He then disappeared. One of the oldest tricky waiter moves in the book. This forces the customer to tip you $10 for lousy service or to wait around hoping to break the bills down. By this point, still hungry, not wanting to stiff the guy but not amused (bring no stranger to the antics of an embittered server), I waited for his eventual return. I kindly handed him one of the tens and asked him to break it down into a five and five ones. When he eventually returned (mind you, this was midafternoon, I was still the only customer in the place) he, now visibly annoyed, handed me two fives. Oh lord. Just shoot me now. I asked him point blank---"Listen, Sir, I waited tables for more than 25 years. Do you think I have no idea what this is about? Do you really imagine you can force a customer to overtip you in desperation to finally move on with their day by deliberately handing back no $1 bills in their change?" Visibly pissed off at me by now he abruptly snatched one of the fives from my hand, slapped fives ones down on my table and turned on his heel. Oh my. I will check my receipt and add the name of this embittered waiter to this review. Simply so their management can learn what's happening when no one is there. We've been regulars here for years. The food here is delightful. We have tried so many things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The Tom Yum soup is perfect, tofu spring rolls are a mush. They serve a great peanut sauce with them but also this spicy sauce that leaves you wanting more. The Thai Basil chicken is my mom's favorite. The service is consistently great and I love that they pay attention to details and holidays by decorating the restaurant for each occasion. Padseew needs a little work. Needs more egg more bite and less broccoli. In Thailand it's actually not a broccoli based dish, it's a soy, egg, and wide egg noodle dish. More peanut crumbs as well makes it more authentic, but I'm sure like many that avoid this advice, that is because they are trying to save money as opposed to increase taste in order to increase customers. We went on Uber eats looking for some Thai food and stumbled upon this restaurant. For $60 (including an Uber discount) we got the Tom Kha (small), the panang curry, and the seafood special. I know when it comes to Thai food they do not mess around with their spices so to be on the safe side I ordered the medium level for one dish and the other two I had requested a level 4 on spice. Oh... my....goodness....The heat was intense. I cannot even begin to imagine what an 8 level would taste like. Fire? I am not kidding, they must be laughing at this silly girl who was brave enough to order a medium. My mouth was on fire. But did I love it? Yes. Did I finish it? Yes. The beef slices were a bit fatty for my liking but the flavors were fantastic. We took the leftovers home and plan on putting it on top of more lettuce. Green curry was light, but still creamy. Next to the salad, it seemed mild in flavor but was still delicious and comforting. Finally, we got the pad see ew with fried eggs on top. Been on the hunt for a go to Thai place, unfortunately this is not it. I am pretty bummed about it. Starting out with the moment we walked in, at the host desk, a young staff member was finishing up gathering a persons to-go order. That's fine, we understand it was the dinner rush and many folks were ordering takeout. However, we stood awkwardly waiting several minutes before we were even greeted by any staff members. And it's a TINY place, so the staff quite literally ignored us and didn't make eye contact as they walked in front of us to go run food/drink to customers back and forth before acknowledging us. When we were finally greeted, the host asked us if we were okay with an outside table (which was an odd request since there were at least 3 open and clean tables inside and it was a HOT day) so we insisted on an inside table and they were able to make it work. We sat for over 10 minutes without being greeted by a server or asked for drink orders, especially odd given the same host who sat us came back twice to grab the additional menus and place mat settings (there were only 2 of us, yet the table was set for 4) during which he continued to not make eye contact with us. I decided to give them 5 more minutes before we upped and left to eat elsewhere and quite literally at the last second one of their staff finally came over to take our order. She was actually the only professional we experienced during our dinner and I wouldn't be surprised if she was the manager since she carried herself as such. She was sweet and attentive and put our order right in and got our drinks to come over right away. The rest of the staff weren't very hospitable. Our receipt was thrown on the table before I was even finished eating--which I'm not even sure why because they never asked us if we'd like dessert nor did we request the check (also note that it was well over 2 hours BEFORE closing hours nor were there additional parties waiting to be seated, so there was actually no reason to be rushed out). On to the food. Loved the spring rolls with shrimp. Tom Kha was great although the chicken was chewy. Thai iced tea with boba was rich and creamy although the boba was quite too soft and squishy which I prefer more of a bite to it. Not pictured was the Pad Thai (veggie) my boyfriend ordered which they recommended to add an egg on top (amazing!), but he did feel the noodles were a bit rubbery. Thai Thai is one of our favorite places for lunch that is close to work. Staff is always warm and friendly. Seating is plentiful and comfortable with patio seating available for sunny days. Food is so fresh and menu is extensive. So many great options. It's usually hard to decide. Lunch specials on the back page of the menu are a great way to get a smaller portion yet it comes with soup, salad, cucumbers, and a potsticker. I had the lunch sized yellow curry today and it was perfect for a rainy day. Lots of vegetables and chicken and curry was warming and flavorful. Spice level 5 was mild-medium. A good starting point as it wasn't too spicy. The rice in the shape of a heart was a thoughtful Valentine's Day week touch. We will be back to continue eating our way through the menu. read more
