2 words... Nailed it. I took my friend to the Banksy exhibition at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and we wanted a bite to eat after... When researching (we are not from this area -not familiar) we thankfully stumbled upon this establishment. Thank GOD. Garlic shrimp spring rolls! Reee Mix! Wow! Juat wow... Spring rolls will never be the same for me. (In a good way-now Ill have to come back) My friend, Eric, ordered the Katsu chicken curry bowl and loved it. They separated the curry so you just pour he amount you like and additionally it doesn't make the bomb @ss chicken soggy. The Bahn mi was Bomb for me. Definitely returning and highly recommend. We also got the pleasure to meet one of the sisters-Matty! She is awesome and a great chef. Thank you Matty!!! -Randy
Great food, fast and affordable. Perfect to go for the beach or to bring home. Extremely casual with high top chairs and wonderful people.
My absolute favorite spot when Im in the area! I found this spot back in May and have been craving it ever since. The crispy tuna is so delicious and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the spring rolls with bulgogi, they were very big and filled with ingredients.
Food was pretty good, seating is limited if you're not doing takeout. Staff is very nice. Order did take some time and there was some confusion with the kitchen but overall okay. It's a cute spot and a place to see if you're in the area.
Sindi's snack shack is always a go-to when coming to fletchers cove!! The boba is so delicious and there is a variety of options to get here. The musubi was delicious, the sauce on it was so good. Our friends order of spam musubi took like 30 mins, however the worker was so kind as to give us a free drink of choice. I will be coming back!! :)
According to the sign out front, this place used to be an actual garage to a residence. I could see that. Honestly, I never knew this small restaurant existed. But I am clearly in the minority: the place was absolutely jumping on a Saturday afternoon. You order at the counter and, even though there is a nice patio deck, every order is wrapped for takeout. I am a sucker for banh mi sandwiches and went with pork as my protein. The veggies were incredibly fresh and very colorful. The pork was flavorful. The bread was fresh but didn't wow me. It's a solid sandwich. It's also very long but not crazy wide. The menu is mostly Asian or Asian-influenced and has a lot of interesting options. I would absolutely give these guys another try.
Sisters' Snack Shack is officially my new Sunday obsession. We rolled in on a beautiful Sunday morning around 11am and pre ordered online. Everything was ready right on time when we arrived. Zero wait, zero stress, just straight to the good stuff. Let's talk about that breakfast burrito. INCREDIBLE flavor. Do. Not. Sleep. On. This. Every bite was packed and perfectly balanced. It is the kind of burrito that makes you pause mid conversation just to appreciate it. The crispy rice? Chef's kiss. Four big pieces, perfectly done. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not rock hard like some places get it. Super flavorful and wildly addictive. The tofu spring rolls were fresh and exactly what you want them to be. Light, clean, and satisfying. We grabbed a taro boba too. The taro flavor was delicious and creamy. The only tiny knock, and I mean tiny, was that the boba leaned a little on the firmer side. Truly that is my only complaint. Bonus points for the friendly service and the patio seating where we could hang with our dog. Great food, smooth pickup, sunshine, pup friendly vibes. What more could you ask for? Already planning our next visit!
This is a very small business with a great menu- breakfast, lunch, snacks and early dinner. Perfect for a beach picnic across the street at Fletchers Beach Park. Everything is super fresh and yummy with a good variety of options for vegetarian, vegan and omnivores.
Ordered a bahn mi, chicken katsu misubi, spam misubi, and a Thai milk tea with boba. The spam misubi is a classic--the type of seaweed wrap they used was a bit flimsy, and I missed the crisp bites I can take from other misubi I have, and the seaweed doesn't unravel from just one bite. I was a bit disappointed with how easily the two misubis fell apart. I still did enjoy the taste of both orders. I ordered 75% sweetness for my Thai milk tea and it was still way too sweet. I wish I did 25%. I def recommend ordering lower sweetness levels as a standard. The bahn mi was extremely lacking. It basically only had meat and no vegetables whatsoever. I would not order this again. If I were to swing by again before heading to the nearby beaches for a convenient bite, I would still order the misubi, but might ask them to wrap it twice over, or order a bowl instead. I would like to try the milk tea again at a lowered sweetness level.
Came across this place after going to the beach and it really hit the spot!! The bulgogi beef bowl was TOP TIER, I definitely recommend it. The flavors come together so well. The chicken katsu musubi was also yummy, the chicken was super crispy, but the ratio with the rice was a little off- would've liked more chicken than rice. We also got bulgogi kimchi quesadillas which tasted really good too! Maybe would've tried different meat next time because the flavor with the kimchi wasn't quite what I was expecting, but still really good. It's a takeout restaurant with small seating in the front. Everything seems freshly cooked and service is quite fast! The portions are a little small for the price, but because the food was so good, I can't complain!

I thought it was a one time thing as I took it home and ate it 15 min later. Today, I checked it as soon as I got to my car and it fell apart immediately. I asked the cashier who was super kind and friendly if they could rewrap which they did quickly. When I got home, it still fell apart and one of the spam musubis had a piece of spam cut as thin as a piece of paper. I couldn't believe someone would serve that and not just recut an appropriate size piece of spam lol! Besides that the middle was good. Will not order spam musubis here again but am willing to try other dishes in the far future.

Visiting SD area and came across this hidden gem. Sisters Snack Shack what a find. My family ordered an Ice Vietnamese Coffee and a Matcha (wife loved even though she's not a matcha fan) drink which were very tasty. We ordered a Banh Mi sandwich which was one of the best I've had. The vegetables were pickled In House and were Awesome, really made the sandwich in my opinion. The bread was from a local bakery, soft and airy....Soooo good. My daughter ordered Crispy Rice which was flavorful and fresh. The owner was friendly and interacted with her customers as they were family. I highly recommend this place and yes I will definitely be back. read more

Sister Snack Shack (formerly Cindy's Snack Shack), located right next to Fletcher Cove, has recently been rebranded under new ownership, now the place is owned by two sisters. The menu is fairly similar to before, featuring Asian street food, noodles, sandwiches, and other quick bites, but the overall presentation and atmosphere have improved significantly. The curb appeal is much better now; they added new umbrellas and refreshed the small outdoor seating area, so it no longer looks run-down. They accept online orders now, and they've also started running weekly specials on select dishes, which they post on their Instagram account. Overall, I've enjoyed most of the food I've tried. My absolute favorites are the teriyaki bowls (served with either rice or noodles), and my kids really love the spam musubi. There are some breakfast options as well, very reasonably priced. The shop also offers boba bubble drinks, while they offer classic flavor options like milk green tea and Thai tea, the quality of the boba pearls themselves still isn't quite there. All in all, it's a great, refreshed spot near the beach for a quick meal or snack! The sisters are doing a fantastic job. read more

Ohh secret spot that many people don't know about ! This is Korean woman owned Korean/asian/hawaiian food business! The food is authentic and I love the spam musubi, the glass noodles and bimbimbap! The crispy rice cake with tuna is also delicious. I met the owner today she's super down to earth and friendly! Sometimes the wait can be long if there's a bunch of people ordering too, so I like to put my phone down with the cashier to call me while I take a quick walk down the beach that's just a few feet away. read more

Such a cute restaurant right by the water! We tried the spam musubis, chicken katsu curry, and bulgolgi bahn mi's. Everything was super tasty and cooked to order. Definitely a great spot to pick up food to take for a picnic on the beach. read more
We got the spam and chicken musubi. Total was $14 for 4 musubis. The size was pretty good and my boyfriend and I both got full for basically $7. The service was good. The cashier was nice and friendly. It is literally a shack and there is only seating on the outside. The weather was very nice so waiting for your food was very nice. read more
What a cute little hut (actually a historic building!).... I love love love this place for a quick pick-me-up boba or delish sandwich. So authentic, delicious, and even better, right next to the beach. (and where i live!!) My friend who visited me brought me a sandwich from here (the pork belly banh mi) and i was hooked. Service was a bit slow, but it's because only one person at the front, and one at the back. I love local hangouts, and am proud to have this one here! read more
