Came here last night for the first time! Really really enjoyed it. I did the mistake order my food medium heat & it was still so spicy but not unbearable. The waitresses were very nice but a little too attentive. We kept feeling rushed they kept checking to see if we were leaving or not and gave us the check without even asking, and while we stayed and talk they kept picking up our stuff trying to rush us out I felt. Overall the food is good the place is nice and clean I'll come back.

We ordered eggplant with steamed tofu and red curry with steamed tofu. All very fresh and healthy

My husband wanted Thai food for his birthday dinner and we decided to go to Kiin. As we expected, great service, delicious food and they even brought a birthday dessert. There is something to be said about having a consistently good experience that will keep us happy. The whole sky deck restaurant area was decorated for lunar new year with many bright red lanterns and it was quite festive.

We went to Sky Deck to check out some foods, and came across this Thai place that looked good! We ordered at the front where a server helped us, and our food came about 10 minutes after. The place inside though had ample seating and moody lighting. We brought our items home to enjoy, but I was a little disappointed with the flavor. The pad thai was under seasoned and bland. I wished it had more sauce or umami. The tangerine chicken (I didn't realize it was not recommended for togo since I ordered in person) was soft, expected. However, that was more of my error. I think the sauce it came with was very tangy, almost too tangy, and the chicken bits were small compared to the thickness of the batter. I am sure Kiin has amazing food, but I do not think I got the best batch.

This restaurant is located in Sky Deck in the Del Mar Highlands. It's like a food hall area inside of a warehouse with good vibes. The food came out super fast within a couple minutes after ordering which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it hahah. One thing to know is they don't serve beef at the restaurant. The pad see ew was probably the best dish we had. We also got the pad thai, panang curry, yellow curry, and pineapple fried rice which I thought were not bad but not amazing. The meat could have been more tender since some of it tasted dry/tough. The parking lot is free but can be busy at peak hours

It's a nice venue with many options to eat and drink. We got the panang and yellow curry, shrimp pineapple fried rice, pad see ew. Food was not bad. Nothing really stood out except the pad see ew was pretty solid. Service is nice.

I didn't have any expectations coming here, so I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the Thai food was here! My friend and I ordered the following dishes: - Tom Yum soup with shrimp (7 out of 10 spice level) - Red curry with chicken - Spicy noodles with tofu - Fresh spring rolls For drinks, I had the Tom Yum Margarita and my friend had the Mango Sticky Rice cocktail. The food was delish and the cocktails were yummy! We wanted dessert, but were disappointed that they ran out of mango, so no mango sticky rice for us! The restaurant is located inside the Sky Deck. The ambiance was stunning and the service was very good. We really enjoyed our dinner and cocktails! I would recommend everything that we ordered! One word of caution: If you can't handle heat, do not order spicy. This is real "Thai" level spicy.

The interior and location within sky deck is lovely, especially with the nice tree in the middle. However, the food was truly not extraordinary. The thai tea was pretty sweet, and the chicken bites looked like it came from Panda Express, and to be honest I'd prefer the chicken from Panda. The rice was dry and the broccoli was steamed with no flavor. The tom kha soup, which I came for, was pretty good though, albeit full of soooo many mushrooms.

What a cute little restaurant inside of Sky Deck. It was my first time here and I fell in love! Service was fast and friendly. The food was amazinggg. So much flavor to everything. Already can't wait to come back!

Kiin Noodle Soup

Food was pretty darn good! The green beans were exceptional, we had to order a second plate. I also got the Kiin noodle soup, and it was like a beefier pho, but it had the most tender beef I may have ever had. The restaurant is in the Skydeck so the place is beautiful. Our servers were good but our one male server (didn't catch his name) was exceptional! 4 stars is just because it's so expensive.

Catching up with friends, and end up stumbled to this restaurant at Sky Deck. First off, love the Sky Deck decor. Our server was super attentive and checking in often to make sure we were good. Here what we had, Spicy basil rice with duck: 3.5/5 Panang curry with stew beef: 3.5/5 Summer fresh rolls with shrimps: 2/5 Decent overall, not bad, not mind blowing.

Visit 04/13/2025 Bumping up to 5 stars after trying new menu items. They now have E-sarn sausage! SCORE! The Braised Beef Panang Curry is now my favorite dish there. The beef was so soft and that curry sauce was packed with flavor and I kept pouring onto my rice. If it wouldn't have been weird, a straw would have been used to get every last drop of that broth. Way to go Kiin!

Had a decent experience here! Beautiful decor and space inside the SkyDeck. Several tables with nice seating. The cocktail menu looked so delicious and cute! I would come back for these. I did order the yellow curry w/ tofu (medium spice). I thought it had good flavor and was a good portion. It is maybe more spicy than you would expect. Overall decent service but there was a lapse in the middle for a water refill.

The pad thai noodles really set this place apart from other pad thais I've eaten. They're a bit thinner than the usual pad thai noodle, and I think it really elevated the dish, it was so good! I believe they're known for the noodles too. The service was great, and the place had a nice atmosphere. It was a tad loud/hard to hear, due to it being in the Sky Deck, so any restaurant in the Sky Deck will have this situation. Overall yummy, and I would go back!

Even though the wings didn't deliver, the chicken satay with peanut sauce was tasty

My friend and I shared a papaya salad, the duck curry, and the beef ribs. We both agreed the duck curry was the best, but the protein portion was a bit small. The curry was flavorful and not too spicy. The beef ribs were good as well, just not what we expected and was saucey. The papaya salad was decent. I felt like there was some flavor missing in it. We were both filled at the end of it. Overall not bad, a bit overpriced, and I feel like you can get more bang for your buck at a normal Vietnamese/ Lao restaurant. It was worth a try though!

I went with one of my girlfriends tonight at about 5:30 PM. We were quickly seated. I ordered a mango lemonade, which came out quite fast and was beautiful. It tasted pretty good too. I asked the server for recommendations on the menu, but she seemed startled by my question, like she was not used to giving recommendations. The two items that she did recommend didn't really sound appealing so I went with Pad See Ew with mock duck. That's one of my go to dishes at a Thai restaurant. I asked not to have any spice level added to my food, but the food came out and was just generally lacking flavor. It was very bland and even though there was a generous portion of vegetables in the dish the mock duck was super mushy. All the places I've ever been to it's sautéed crispy. Also, the the noodles were all stuck together. Like if you put noodles in water to let it boil, but you don't stir them and they just boil like that in a clump. The restaurant was very cute inside. I would be open to trying it again just because I've heard so many good things that I can't believe this is their standard experience.
