H53 Wonton Soup with Egg Noodles

First time here. Easy parking, friendly staff, clean restaurant. The waiter I ordered the H53 Wonton Soup with egg noodles. My wife ordered a Grilled Chicken Banh Mi.

Pho Dublin has become our local, go-to Vietnamese place whenever we want savory, sweet grilled shrimp, pork, or chicken. Our 5yo son is addicted to their grilled shrimp. Its likely marinated with lemongrass, ginger and fish sauce but what really stands out is the slightly sweet taste from either honey or sugar. The grilling caramelizes the sugar so you get a sweet, crispy crust. He can feat all the shrimp from the shrimp rice plate, extra side of 5 grilled shrimp, and the two extra shrimp pieces from my combo bun. Besides their awesome shrimp, I also recommend their grilled pork vermicelli with egg roll and bonus shrimp. Nice balance of savory meats, pickled veggies, and rice noodles seasoned with clear fish sauce. The wife is a fan of their Combo Pho #19, which comes only in large or extra large. The broth is sweet and savory and bot overly salty. Beef is often served rare (ideal since it'll cook in the broth), and you can omit squiggly tripe if that's not your thing. Note they also serve banh mi sandwiched and have a while array of Vietnamese Coffees, Boba Teas, and other fruity drinks.

Pho Dublin is my favorite place to get a comforting bowl of pho when I'm in Dublin! The restaurant is small, but with enough tables to accommodate a lunch rush, and I've never had to wait for a table. Service is fast and friendly, and the ambiance is quiet for it being on the corner of San Ramon Rd. & Amador Valley Rd. The pho broth is flavorful without being fatty, and the noodles have always been perfectly cooked. I love the freshness of the herbs and bean sprouts. There are your usual condiments of sriracha and hoisin sauce, as well as chili oil, which I always add to my pho. The various meats are tender and not overcooked. They only have two sizes, large and extra large. I get the large, and it is the perfect portion for me. I've had the beef stew noodle soup in the past as well, and that is also pretty good. However, the BBH is not it though, and I've had a ton of good bowls of BBH, so I know what I'm looking for. The flavor is just not there, so stick to ordering pho. In addition, I have not ordered the rice plates or other items, so I cannot attest to the flavor of their other dishes. Not shown in my photos are their drinks, which I have also tried in the past. They are fruity and refreshing, and a great size for the price. I'd definitely recommend Pho Dublin for your pho fix if you're in Dublin or passing by on 580!

If you're craving pho in Dublin, this spot is a solid choice. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking, so getting in and out is easy. Inside, the space is clean, roomy, and has a modern take on a classic mom‑and‑pop feel. I've tried both the egg rolls & spring rolls and while they're not standout dishes, they're definitely enjoyable and satisfy the craving. The dipping sauce leans on the saltier side. My usual order is the pho with steak, tendon, and tripe. The protein quality is good--nothing exceptional, but the broth is what keeps me coming back. It's darker than most pho broths and whatever they do in the cooking process gives it a deeper, richer flavor. Someone in my party also tried the bun bo hue, which they described as just okay. It could use more spice and umami to give it more depth. One thing I appreciate is that utensils and condiments are readily available and not prepackaged, so you can adjust everything to your liking. Prices feel reasonable for the area and the service is generally average in a good way--prompt, efficient, and they let you enjoy your meal without hovering.

My family and I wanted to get some noodle soup before shopping. We decided try out this restaurant. There was a good amount of seating and the staff were attentive and kind. We got the Pho Combo Special and Grilled Pork Shrimp Shredded Pork Egg Cake Egg Rice Plate. The food was delicious. I love the noodle in the pho! The meats were very tender. The shredded pork in the rice plate was not my favorite but the grilled pork was very tender and flavorful! I recommend this spot if you're looking for some hot noodle soup in the area!

This was our first time trying this place, and we ordered through DoorDash. It arrived with the broth in a separate container, a plastic bag with cilantro, lemon, and sauces, and another container with rice noodles and veggies. We combined everything into a bowl with the broth, and it was delicious. I would love to visit the restaurant in person soon--I think the experience would be even better dining there. At home, it was a little difficult putting everything together. I'm giving four stars because the packaged sauces were placed in the same bag as the cut lemons and cilantro. Since anyone could have touched the sauce packets, it didn't feel very sanitary. Overall, though, the flavor was great.

Cold Saturday late morning for early lunch Pho. Nice friend operated restaurant with an extensive menu. Today I had the wonton, pork, egg noodle soup, small size = large). It came in a large bowl. Food delivery is always quick to the table. Unfortunately I forgot to snap a photo. And the large bowl made the portion small but was appropriate for my appetite. There were plenty of pork. It was fulfilling and enjoyable meal.

The food was amazing. I came on July 4th when they were closing early but the owners stayed open late for my family and I. Service was nice and fast. Workers were very kind. Would recommend

I'm so glad we came back!! Before covid, this used to be my family and is go to place for pho in addition to a couple other locations in our rotation. A couple years ago, they gained new management and we returned for their soft opening and we were not the biggest fans of the new flavors they served and never came back. My family and I recently returned and oh my gosh am I happy to report that our love for this restaurant has been restored! The food was absolutely delicious! The pho broth is a little on the sweet side which was not an issue for us. We ordered chicken wings, fried egg rolls and spring rolls and eventually placed an additional order for the chicken wings because they were so delicious!! Everything tasted so good! The wait staff were attentive and because were Vietnamese food lovers, ordering was super easy. The ambiance was very nice, like what I remember just a little updated! I'm so glad we came back after all this time. Can't wait till we dine in again! Not to mention the pricing was very fair for the amount of food that we got!

To-go order review Located in a plaza so plenty of parking. Ordered 2 combinations pho. Friendly staff and ready to pick up when I got there. Soup was separated from the container with noodles, and all the meat (rare steak was packed in wrap). Another bag for the bean sprouts and thai basil. Soup was still hot by the time we got home. Overall, was ok. Broth was on the sweeter side, meat was just ok, and noodles were a bit overcooked and broke easily but was expecting it as it wasn't fresh. Portion was decent and would come back if I was in the area.

The menu itself isn't extensive, but mostly just noodle focused based, with some of the variations of what the base and meats are, and of course the cold dishes that typically comes with a beef noodle eating experience. Price wise, it's not cheap, but for beef noodle places there's not too many of those places around, and if they are around they're usually not that great. The place isn't huge, but there are a fair number of tables in there all closeish together. Again, not a large place, so mostly smaller tables, but can certainly be pieced together for larger parties. Service here was good, no issues. Let's talk food! The cold dishes were good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but one thing that is good even though the cost of them are a bit high is that the quantity they give you is at least a decent amount. If you like the cold dishes, you will get plenty with each order. Now to the noodles. We got a chow mein style noodles and then of course the beef noodle soup. The chow mein noodles were not bad, but wasn't out of the ordinary. It was tasty and I would be happy to eat it again. The beef noodle soup was definitely tasty. The noodles here, in both the chow mein and in the noodle soup were nice quality and texture, just the right QQness to them. The beef in the beef noodle soup is where most restaurants tend to struggle with, particularly the chain dumpling places that offers beef noodle soup and when it arrives, they're just the beef slices from the appetizer dish. Not here, these were actual chunks of beef that have been cooked for awhile and actually stewed. They were good and plentiful in this soup. All-in-all, CA Noodles is a good option for some good beef noodles if you're ever in the mood. The place isn't big, so they may get filled pretty quickly depending on the time of day, and the actual day. Worth the visit.

Also, didn't care for the flavor being more sweet than savory. K35. Salt & Pepper Capelin (smelt) was perfectly fried and salted fish. My absolute favorite item on the menu. Always order whenever I dine-in. The squeeze of lemon is essential. Took it over the top. Ate them like fries. Must try! Half Roast Duck was super yummy but really salty. Do not eat on its own. Must eat with rice or their noodle soup to dilute salt. Always seemed to dine here in the height of the summer heat so didn't really touch the complimentary cup of soup. Will probably appreciate it more when the temps aren't consistently hovering over 100 degrees. Will definitely want to explore more of the menu to hopefully find additional favorites.

The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas. My cousin discovered YGF and I was shocked realizing that it's like a 30-second drive from my office and couldn't believe I hadn't noticed it before. We took the short drive out to Dublin to get lunch here on a Sunday afternoon and while there was almost no one inside when we got in line to fill our bowls, by the time we paid and sat down the line had suddenly blown up and the place was booming. Compared to Master Gua, YGF has fewer vegetable options (no broccoli, for example), but I believe they have even more meats than Master Gua did. So it's a tradeoff, depending on what you're in the mood for. All of the ingredients were super fresh and there's a pretty wide assortment of things to choose from. As with other malatang places, you take your bowl of stuff up to the counter, weigh it, and they tell you the price based on the weight. Then you choose your broth from a few different options. YGF has even more than Master Gua did, but I still went with my old standard, the Sichuan spicy hot pot broth (which is described as being medium spicy here). You can add a bowl of steamed rice on the side for a couple bucks, which I did. The food came out pretty quickly and was fantastic. My husband, brother, and cousin all got one of the bone broths (I think they all went with the beef), which is their go-to. We were all incredibly happy with our meals. The meat was cooked tender and the vegetables weren't overdone. The staff were all super nice and kept coming around to refill water. When it came time to pay, they came to the table with a mobile POS rather than having us go up to the counter to pay. I enjoyed the hotpot, came out super fast (~10 minutes) and they gave large bowls for sharing between my partner and I. I think the soup broth flavor was not as savory as I had hoped but still sweet and good. While everything was very good, this place is in a very competitive area of food spots. I did enjoy the food but I wouldn't say it's the best of the best soup broth. They have about 5-6 different flavorings/cooking styles but i think some places tend to have more. I enjoyed the food and I think I would come back to try other things. I think they do have a large ingredient selection making for a unique hotpot experience.
