Not sure how this spot has a 4.8/5 stars but from my experience it kind of felled short. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The difference from this location and bellaire is that the service here is more attentive and friendly but the food doesn't taste better than the Bellaire location. The one on bellaire has awful service but the food is spot on. There was a confusion with my order because I wanted a baby size pho since I ordered other items on the menu. I wanted a baby size pho with rare steak, tripe, tendon & fatty brisket. However it's only served for small, large & xl which is understandable since it has variety of meats. They brought out a small pho which I knew I wouldn't finish which was why I ordered a baby size in the first place. The server was new & the manager came by to apologize & voided an item on the menu. So I appreciate the kind gesture. For starters I ordered their egg-rolls and it came out piping hot. It was delicious and filling but sadly their appetizer was the best thing I've tried. The broth for my pho was just okay, it wasn't too inspiring for me & there was no wow factor. The meats were tender though especially the tendon. My rice plate was also mid since the grill pork was bland and needed more seasoning. The shrimp was grilled nicely but lacked flavor. I also prefer broken rice versus regular white rice. Overall, it must've been an off day because considering this location has high ratings I definitely had high expectations. I'll come back and give them another try since the service was very good. The ambiance was cozy and laid back.

I firmly believe hot, humid weather is pho weather so it's always a good time to get Pho Dien Katy!! Like the creature of habit that I am, I usually get a baby sized pho tai nam (#4) and spring rolls with grilled pork. Pho Dien Katy's food is so consistently delicious that I keep coming back knowing my meal is about to hit the spot. Their vermicelli bowls are also so amazing as they're the perfect combination of light yet filling. There have been times where I'll get a bowl of pho to eat inside the restaurant then order myself a vermicelli bowl for home. I can't help myself!! The restaurant is very clean with lots of seating. This spot is one of my favorite Viet restaurants in the Greater Houston area not only because the food is bomb but the service is top notch and fast too. Shoutout Andy, the owner!!

I was feeling a little sick and did not want to cook, so of course pho was the best option. We heard this place is a franchise of Pho Dien in Bellaire, so we were excited to try it. When we got there, it was not too busy, so there was no wait at all. The ambiance was cozy and very Vietnamese, just like many other pho spots. We skipped appetizers since all I wanted was pho. They also offered two different types of noodles, fresh and regular pack noodles. I chooses fresh one because that's how the OG Pho is. We ordered two bowls with our choice of meats. The broth had flavor, but it still felt like it was missing something compared to the original Bellaire location. It also was not as hot as I usually like. I also ordered the egg and bone marrow bowl, which came with less marrow than I normally expect, but it was still fine. Overall, I would say this place is okay. Not amazing but not bad either, just a decent spot to try. The service is quick and attentive. Everyone's taste is different, so it might be better suited for others

The service was excellent! I've never had fresh rice noodles before and it was different than what I was used to but I liked it! I imagine you'd get something like that in the streets of Vietnam so if I got an authentic experience, that's a plus in my books! The spring rolls and the avocado smoothie were great as well. All the employees were so friendly with a smile on their faces. I will go back in a heartbeat!

Ordered takeout in the past but finally got a chance to dine in. Ya girl was trying to food hop for dinner. Was super happy Pho Dien had the option to order a baby pho tai. Onions and cilantro had to be added to the dish. You can also select regular noodles or fresh noodles (thicker/more chewy). Eggrolls were crispy and tasted good as well! Service was great overall. To-go dish: Com thit nuong (rice with grilled pork) was delicious! I would definitely come back to Pho Dien!

Every year, my husband and I, we traveled cross country and used to stay at Katy for overnight rest. In search for a Pho restaurant, I'm so glad that I found this restaurant on Yelp. Restaurant was clean and organized, food was good and service was awesome. We ordered spring rolls for appetizer, the dipping sauce was good. Very creamy of peanut butter. My husband got his Pho Tai (pho with rare beef), I got a Bún bò Huế (spicy beef noodle), they both tasted very good, generous size too. Pho Tai's broth was not overly smell of cinnamon, and the Bún bò Huế was full of flavor. Service was stellar. Our water were frequently filled, Andy, the restaurant's owner came out to say hi to us, we had a wonderful time and lots of fun chatting with him. A hardworking young man with lots of ambition and eager to serve his customers. Overall, we will definitely come back again to try other dishes. Good food, good service, affordable prices. What's not to like?

Wow! The fresh noodles make this bowl of pho even more spectacularly delicious! This restaurant is clean and roomy, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The broth is very flavorful and definitely one of the best in Houston. The meat and the tendon were cooked well and paired perfectly with the freshly made chewy noodles. You pay for your meal at the counter. My diagnosis: one of the best pho restaurants in Houston if you are willing to drive to Katy or Chinatown. Fresh noodles are a must!

Customer service was beyond delightful. +The pho and bun bo hue was great. I love it when noodle soup restaurants serve their broth between 175 - 200 degrees. +The broths were delicious and full of umami. +The vegetables were fresh. +The meats were prepared and cooked well. +The noodles were al dente and not overcooked/mushy. +Family-friendly for ages 10 and under or senior elderlies. This place delivered where it mattered most, especially with the highly reviewed appetizers. Probably one of my favorite drinks here was the Thai Green Tea. It has a really interesting flavor that stands out from regular Thai Tea -- more earthy, but not quite like matcha (we guessed there might be pandan in it). Just a heads up: it's definitely on the sweeter side. My partner and I actually let the ice melt a bit before continuing to drink it, which helped balance things out. I came back a second time and still loved it just as much. The dipping sauce felt like a truly authentic representation of Vietnamese cuisine. It was a lightly diluted fish sauce with spicy red pepper and plenty of garlic -- simple but really flavorful. I also appreciated that the table setup let you customize it to your taste. In my first experience here, we ordered the Bánh Xèo, Bánh Khọt, and Bánh Bột Chiên. I was hands down a huge fan of the ginormous Bánh Xèo -- crispy, flavorful, and just overall my favorite (though I'll admit I'm a little biased toward it already). Meanwhile, my boyfriend completely fell in love with the crunchy Bánh Khọt. That said, I did notice a slight graininess in the Bánh Khọt, which took away a few points for me. The Bánh Bột Chiên was solid and got a pass from us, but it wasn't our top pick -- mostly because we've had better versions elsewhere. Other worthy notes: the herbs were fresh and crisp, and the pickled vegetables were refreshing as well (though my boyfriend thought they could've been a bit more strongly pickled). Eating everything the traditional way -- wrapping it in lettuce with herbs -- made the whole experience even better. Honestly, I would come back just to order two Bánh Xèo. I actually came back a second time before posting this review, this time with my family. We ordered the Bắp Xào, Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc, and a simple rice dish. This visit was a bit different -- across the board, we all agreed the dishes leaned too salty this time around. I could also tell the staff was overwhelmed, with only two people handling both the front and the kitchen, so it was tough to get their attention at times. That said, the Bánh Xèo still held its ground. My parents were genuinely impressed by the size, and for me, it's still an absolute banger -- something I'd come back for again and again purely for flavor and value. The Bắp Xào really stood out to me in a nostalgic way. I loved the use of traditional Vietnamese corn, and the sautéed dried shrimp brought back memories of flavors from dishes I grew up eating, even if I couldn't quite pinpoint which one. While my mom thought it was too salty, I actually felt like it would pair perfectly with a bowl of plain white rice. I also tried some of my brother's Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc and found the beef to be tender and flavorful, though not particularly standout compared to other places. I've had very similar versions nearby, but it's still my brother's go-to -- though I suspect that might also be his way of loading up on protein. Overall, even with the inconsistency during the second visit, I still really enjoy Yummy Quan -- especially for the appetizers. It's a place I'd bring family and friends to try, and I'm still curious about more of the menu... but realistically, I could live life on Bánh Xèo alone. At the end, you also get to grab some guava candy, and for anyone who's never had these, don't forget to pick some up -- they're simply delectable!

We saw on the door that they're BYOB? Thai Green Tea (4.5/5): Really sweet but with some pretty unique grassy/herbal notes! (Pandan??) Would recommend if they can adjust the sweetness down a notch. We let the ice melt a bit and it made for a great palatte cleanser. Banh Xeo (4.5/5): Definitely one of their signature dishes. I read the reviews on how large it was and it was still shocking! See my hand for reference. It's crispy and delicious. Two downsides: Not enough protein, and not enough lettuce to make wraps with how big it is. But overall, definitely one of the best I've had outside of homemade. Banh Khot (4/5): These little flavor explosions are a perfect bite size and are also a signature dish. Would definitely recommend. A few of ours were light on the pork. Banh Bot Chien (3.5/5): I was dying to try this since there is really one famous spot for it. Their version is very good, but misses on the crispiness. The inside texture and pairing sauces and radish were all very good, it just needed a little more crisp. I love that they give extra garlic and spice and basically let you customize the intensity of your fish sauce to your preference. Paid with no issues via inKind at the counter. We definitely left stuffed and would come back!

Service was prompt and quasi friendly. I thought the broth was good despite having an overwhelming aroma of cinnamon. I requested for pho tuoi (fresh noodles) which are slightly bigger than the standard noodles they give you. However, I regretted this choice because many of my noodles were clumped together, distracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Additionally, I think there's a heavy usage of MSG in their broth because I felt loopy and very thirsty for water halfway through. Needless to say, I was only able to eat half of the generous serving. For those who are a fan of pho and appreciate generous portions, this place is definitely worth a visit. Their pho bowls are substantially larger than those I've encountered elsewhere, offering a potentially satisfying experience for the more voracious diner but for me, quantity is not enough of a reason to become a regular. Note: There's a $1 uncharge for pho tuoi (fresh noodles).

At first it was just us and one other table, but not long after, more people started coming in, probably for lunch as well. The restaurant is pretty large, with both tables and booths, plus a big table for large groups. This is what we ordered: Combo Rolls This comes as a sampler with five different types of spring rolls. Regular spring rolls, nem nuong rolls (fermented grilled pork), grilled chicken, grilled pork, and shrimp only. I really liked this idea because it lets you try everything without having to order each roll separately. My favorite was the nem nuong roll. Bun Bo Hue I do not eat pork blood or pork loaf, so I substituted them with more tendon and beef meatballs. Because of that, I cannot really comment on how the pork tasted. The broth was okay but a little lacking in flavor. After I asked for shrimp paste, it tasted much better. Bo Kho (Beef Stew) This is my husband favorite dish, so he always orders it whenever a place has it. He ordered the one come with bread as dipping. He did not really like this one. It was not bad, but not great either. The flavor was missing, and the broth was more watered down than how he prefers it. Still, it is worth trying if you like beef stew. Overall, our experience was just okay. The service was fine, but the food did not leave a strong impression on us. We did not stay long since my husband had to get back to work. I would come back to try more dishes, especially pho. Since their name is Pho Guru, I feel like the pho might be better. Plus we dined in around Fall time in 2025 so I think the place would have so change with out last experience

Not the restaurant's fault, but definitely part of the experience. Now the food? Genuinely delicious. My husband ordered the pho and ended up emptying two bowls of chili sauce into it -- and it was still on the mild side. Flavorful, yes. Spicy, not so much. If you love heat, you'll want to BYO fire. I ordered the tofu vermicelli and it was fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, great texture -- it just needed a little kick to make it perfect. Same with the spring rolls.
