After getting my nails done next door at Top Beauty Nails & Hair Salon, I decided to grab some lunch here. It's been a while since I've been back to Pho Dalat, and I remember it serving delicious Vietnamese dishes in the northwest side of town. However, I heard that there was a change of ownership not too long ago. I ordered the Grilled New York Steak Rice Plate, and this is my usual order. Usually it comes with a small bowl of broth on the side, and it didn't this time. The steak portion is a bit smaller than I remembered, and there's no slice of butter on top of the steak. The egg was cooked perfectly, but the bed of rice underneath, although flavorful, was a bit dry for my liking. I wish it was moist and steaming! Regardless, the rice place was still good, and I would highly recommend it, but the one I had a while back was way better. read more

Was craving pho and looked around what was in the neighborhood. Saw on the menu there was bun bo hue and decided to try that instead. I walked in to do a togo order as I had things to do but the process was easy and quick. I always consider how long vietnamese places take to get a bowl of soup out because if it's too long then i feel like it won't be good. but i enjoyed the BBH! can see myself coming back for sure Bun bo hue - exactly what i was looking for. the soup had amazing flavor and full of umami. they even included chili oil and shrimp paste on the side! the meat quantity was a little low imo but they gave all the variety. good amount of noodles as well. 8.8/10 read more

Not bad at all. I liked what we ordered and the place had a couple of Vietnamese families which I always see as a good sign. People were coming and going with take out. The guy running the service seemed a little zoned out however. He forgot to bring things we asked for and had to be reminded once or twice. Otherwise I think if you are in the area the place is pretty good. I wouldn't make a special trip but would stop in again if I am around the area. read more

Went here for the first time today and it definitely will not be the last. We had a pleasant server, who was attentive throughout the meal in checking in on us. Highlights were the shaking beef and the pork spring rolls. The restaurant was also very clean with beautiful mural paintings on the walls giving it a great ambiance. read more

My family and friends have been here for many years. They recently had a new owner. Super friendly staff. Restaurants inside have a very Vietnam culture and are clean. Food is very presentable and has lots of flavor. I suggest getting the shaking beef. Very tender and burst of flavor and juice. The rice is fluffy with butter flavor added to it. read more

We stopped by for Boxing Day lunch and were surprised to find out the restaurant had just changed hands. But good news is that most of the staff stayed on! Great experience! Food: The flavors were developed and pho broth was very tasty. The food came out hot and freshly made. Atmosphere: there are lots of tables and chairs so it felt like you could got a lot in the restaurant. The bathrooms were clean. After many years of not being in the area, I went to pho Dalat this week, and was quickly reminded why I liked their food so much the broth was rich with flavor. It was definitely well worth the price which was not inflated. My waitress was as nice as she could be. It was just a great experience, all the way around as with mini pho restaurants, the ambience is simple but clean. Many hands touch each of them in picking up individual pieces; quite unsanitary! We were on our way to the movies and decided to try this Vietnamese restaurant. It's in a strip center with plenty of parking. It's very clean and has a large menu. My husband ordered chicken and rice with a fried egg on the side. It came with a warmed sauce, which was very tasty. Hubby says it's all very good. Pho Dalat is definitely what is known for, I stopped in for dinner to go. I ordered their Pho Special, Lemongrass Tofu and Lotus Salad. Their Pho was good, I would say it wasn't as meaty for a "special order" but flavor was there. Moving on to the lemongrass tofu was very dry. The middle of the tofu was hallow. Lotus salad wasn't as flavorful and fresh as expected. This place could definitely quick fix your pho cravings but from the other choices selections I made, wasn't my favorite. read more

I called and placed an order for a grilled Pork Bahn Mi I arrived, and both guys working were super nice and friendly. One of the guys was making smoothies and assorted iced teas. I opted for a Tropical Fruit tea as well. The iced tea was refreshing, not sweet at all. There were pieces of orange lime and apple in the tea. It was so good. The Bahn Mi is one of the best I have ever had. The pork was perfectly grilled with subtle sweetness, the baguette was fresh, the Vietnamese mayo/butter was good, and the veggies were fresh and crunchy. I loved the pickled radish and carrots. This will be my official go-to for Bahn Mi's and drinks. I plan to try the Boc luc lac ( shaking beef) and the summer rolls. Stop by this place you won't regret it. read more

Broth is 100% Egg rolls are 100% Rice plates, especially the bbq pork is the way I like it. Chargrilled and in small pieces. 100% Service and cleanliness is 100% too...for consistency in everything. It's been around for years, and truly a staple!...I appreciate the consistency and the recent remodel they did on the inside. There is one guy who is usually always there, I believe he's the owner/manager. Consistently day in and day out, he does most if not all the work there minus the cooking. A definite plus that it's across the street from where I work, walkable on a nice day, and I highly recommend trying their crispy egg rolls!...an added bonus, their fish sauce concoction is amazing!...the best, actually. I've been going here since I was little. I've never had bad service here, and the food is always good! It's in a very secluded parking lot so you will never have to fight for parking. I always get the com thit nuong, pho or spring rolls. I did try the bun bo hue recently and it was ok, wasn't really spicy. If you want a place where the pho is good, you don't have to wait long or fight for parking, give this place a try. read more

Very disappointed with my to go order. We order 4 Vietnamese sandwiches with 2 orders of their spring rolls. $40 total with spring rolls.... ok fine this should be a good sandwich. Nope! I had to go back to exchange the two sandwiches because the bread was very hard! The bread should be crispy but soft. Went back for the replacements and the bread seemed good. This is where I'm annoyed...two very small slices of beef in the new order! So if you eat there, I'm sure the food will be fine because it has been in the past. The to go orders beware. Have you tasted Pho before...if not, you may be missing out on a real treat. There are many variables to good Pho...I like the steak, maybe flank...and I love adding the sprouts, the jalapenos (only a couple slices), the cilantro, squeeze of a lime...but what truly makes Pho awesome is the broth. Tonight's broth was outstanding...in fact, from my table I saw the creator of this fine dish...I think she is the grandma. She whipped together some of the finest Pho that I have tasted in some time. It was remarkable. My friends, this is a family owned and operated small business...they are making and sharing the favorite foods from their home.
