Got take out. Salad roll with prawns and pork wasn't very good. I'm not sure if it was the peanut sauce or the roll, but I didn't love it. I didn't hate it, but I've had much better. Broken rice with braised pork belly. This came in two containers. The pork belly comes in the braising liquid which is great and flavourful, but also had a thick layer of fat on the top. After pouring off the fat, I enjoyed it much more -- it was much less greasy. The pork belly is still fatty, but quite good. The dish has some green onions, but not much more so you'll want a side. Vermicelli with lemongrass chicken seems quite expensive ($12) and isn't enormous portions, but it's quite good. I really liked the seasoning on the chicken and it had the right amount of crispiness. One of the best I've had in recent memory. I think it came to about $25 and was more than enough food as dinner for one. read more

What a disappointment, ordered 3 bowls of pho to go. 2 beef 1 chicken. The chicken pho broth ended up being beef pho broth. The broth was spilt in the bag. The sauces spilled EVERYWHERE. The noodles weren't fresh super soft and over cooked. Spring rolls were burnt. Salad rolls were ripped. Please learn how to package your shit before you send it out with customer. Never ordering from here ever again. read more

If the food was not good, this review would be 1. I ordered chicken vermicelli for pick up a week back. I paid & had asked them to pack the salad separately so it doesn't steam up. When i arrived i looked in the bag & there was no sauce (Hoisin Sriraccha) included as all Pho restaurants include at the very least 1. The younger Vietnamese man said it was $.25, I said you should give 1 at least, he rudely replies saying "you already ask for too much". So there is a minimum order now for the sauce. Wow... I won't go back read more

On the nice side I give it an extra star for the interior. Nothing seem to be under control and didn't seem like the server enjoys working there. Expectation causes disappointment but can't help but have a bit of expectations. I always said Brentwood needs a pho restaurant cause there's zero! Great opportunity to open but a bit of an advice; needs friendly service and remember the dish orders. Needs a better system. Remember orders is one. Working with table memory is another. Clearly wasn't attentive either. Maybe try not to mix up the orders as well. Sadly and unfortunately maybe just caught them on a bad day. Overall the food. It was okay. My salad roll was good just I guess the guy forgot I asked for very little noodles. Will give it another shot if I really have a craving for Vietnamese food when in the area. read more

Finally a pho restaurant in the Brentwood area! Family run restaurant, employees are friendly and nice. Gets quite busy at lunch and dinner so if you have a party larger than 4 I would recommend calling ahead to see if they have space. They do their best to provide fast service but i think the issue may be simply being understaffed during busy times. The broth here is good, not the best I've had but will satisfy your noodle soup craving. House special pho they are very generous with their portions of meat, especially if you order a large. Noodles here are excellent :) They are never served as a giant clump of noodles that don't break apart (pet peeve about bad pho)! Rice dishes are good, grilled chicken is my favourite. The portions are fairly large so my sister and I can share an order, there's quite a bit of rice. Good price for what you get. Orders for spring rolls or fresh spring rolls only come with one roll each. Will be visiting this location regularly! read more

This place just opened not too long ago and I went about a week or two after they opened. It's really about time that they got a pho place in the Brentwood area! I wasn't too sure of what to expect of this restaurant, so I went with my usual Bun Bo Hue which usually allows me to have a pretty good gauge of how good a restaurant is. My boyfriend went with a rice bowl with lemongrass chicken and some pork. Nothing too crazy. The restaurant itself looked really clean inside (as it should be since it's brand new!) and the decor was nice and cute. The service was OK. Nothing that stood out to me. Not terrible, not great. We both thought our food was pretty standard vietnamese food, except the pricing was a bit off. I'm usually used to paying for my food at a vietnamese place with a $10 bill but prices are a bit higher than the typical pho places. I can't say that I can justify paying more for an average bowl of pho/rice/etc. but for convenience sake, I'd have to say that I will probably be back. read more

Always enjoy Pho with a hearty flavorful and lightly scented broth. Enjoyed the brisket one. Pricing comparable to North Vancouver. Free parking! I come for the food not the service -(unless its white linen place)...besides as long as they don't scowl or forget you completely, your still good :) Too many whiners below. Give a new business a chance...there are a ton of kinks to iron out when starting a new business. read more

Even though this place is super convenient for me, I make an extra effort to go elsewhere if I can when craving pho cause the broth here is just lacklustre. Pricier than other places too. However, if you're in need of something quick and clean, this place will do. The servers have always been pleasant and the cafe sua da is always good. read more

Let's see... The Pho taste really good. I mean, taste really really good. However, recently, I'm really not satisfied with the staff performance. It feels like sometimes they give you the Pho without the sides. Sometimes they forget to give you napkins. And the real problem is, it is always really painful to call for service. Also, parking is a bit challenging. Still, good pho. read more

I'm so thrilled that a pho place opened in the area and definitely much needed judging by how busy it is all the time. We ordered the Pho D'Lite Beef and a side order of spring rolls. Our food came quickly to the table - so quickly that it seemed suspicious. The pho broth was light and tasty and all the meat in the bowl was well prepared. Foodwise, this place is great. What brought it down a star for me were the utensils that are available on every table. Everything was so dusty! Every spoon I picked up for my pho had bits of dust and fibers clinging to it. Not very appetizing at all. I went half way through my stack and started going through the stack of the neighbouring table and they all had things attached to it so I just gave up and gave it a thorough wipe with my napkin. Since they're new, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and hopefully this issue will be resolved the next time I visit. read more

This place is run authentically by a Vietnamese family. Cute decor, very clean, and visibly more upscale than your average pho joint. However, the pho taste is slightly off. Noodles are are bland and don't fully absorb the soup flavours. It's also not cheap, $9 for a small bowl may not sound like a lot but you can easily get higher quality around $6-7 in East Vancouver. Service is ok, it's like any other Asian restaurant - just don't expect too much. Food is served quickly which is a bonus. If you are a pho snob you probably won't like it here, if you are a new/casual pho eater this place isn't too bad. read more

Had lunch with former coworkers here today. Place is tiny. Maximum ppl can be accommodated is about 36. I wouldn't recommend to groups bigger than 4. Food is decent and so as service. $10 for a large bowl of most of their soup. I don't mind this place since closest pho resto is at East Hastings. read more

Finally decided to drop by and try out this place. The restaurant is small but clean, i also went around the afternoon so it wasn't too busy. I got my food within 5 minutes so I would say that's pretty good. Their pricing is average, $11 plus tips for a small bowl of pho, its more expensive than other pho restaurants in North Burnaby, but considering the restaurant location, the price is okay. Good pho and customer service, but they could've refilled my cup of tea some more :) read more

I came here for dinner and the place was small but nice. I had called a pho dac biet (special) or what this place called the pho d'lite. My family eats a lot of Vietnamese food and I would always call this wherever I go, and never did I have a pho dac biet with so little meat and the slices of meat were pretty small. There were about 3 slices of beef, 4 slices of brisket, 2 tiny pieces of tripe, and 1 piece tendon. It was honestly pretty disappointing since the prices were average, although the taste was decent. I probably won't be coming back if I had to choose unless I have friends or co-workers that want to eat here for a quick bite. read more

We finally tried out this new Vietnamese spot in Brentwood. Our pho came out super fast - definitely too fast. That kind of speed is fine for lunch but for dinner we like to have a bit more time. For that reason we would come back for lunch only. As for the pho, it was pretty standard fare. Nothing too outstanding but tasty enough to come back. Generous portions of beef and the large is more than enough for one. The broth was very flavorful. It's family run and the service is quite friendly. read more

I went here with my cousin as soon as we walked thru the door we were greeted and seated right away. I ordered a salad roll which was good, and then the chicken pho, which hands down is the BEST pho I have ever had. The broth is clear and very flavorful, the chicken was nice and tender with a nice subtle hint of lemongrass. Service was excellent, very friendly and quick. Overall would recommend, and I definitely will be back! read more

2-3 item vermicelli bowls are amazing! pho (broth) is just ok. Salad & spring rolls are really great! convenient location & hours. Best Vietnamese location in Brentwood! read more

We ordered Pho noodle soup and it was pretty good. One of the more decent Vietnamese restaurant in the Burnaby area. We will definitely return to try other things on the menu. Pricing is slightly more than other Pho places but location is convenient, restaurant is clean and food is pretty good. read more

For all my negative reviews, I want to say that this place deserves a huge thumbs up. I've only eaten in once, but I get take out regularly. My order is always correct, they are fast and professional and the time I ate in, it was the same. They do what needs to be done. Obviously I've gone back several times. My husband gets something different but I'm now a big fan of the Pho Do Bien. So if you are looking for good Pho in the Brentwood area, I do recommend this place. Reasonably priced, and for me, the in and out is just what I want during a busy lunch time. read more

I was starving after hanging out with my friends and passed by this pho place on solo district. The place looks great from the outside so I went in. The interior is nice and kinda homey. I sat down and the server brought me some in home tea which they also sell on the side. The menu is really nice (font, style, materials) and displays all sorts of goodies. I went to my go-to with rare steak and beef balls with a deep fried roll. I also told them to steam my sprouts or the soup would turn lukewarm. Anyways, my meal came out and the first thing I noticed was the noodles were way over done which wasn't good at all. It was torture trying to finish it all with mushy noods. I bit into the roll and that was kinda a challenge as well. It was like biting into a roll that has been sitting out for a good hour or so... the outside had a tough exterior and the roll wasn't warm-hot like it supposed to be. I ate like a quarter of it and left it, told the server that the roll is pretty bland and can't finish it and the server nodded their head and said "ok." Nothing was "ok" since I still paid for it on the bill. Oh well... might come back and eat just vermicelli next time. read more

walked in unsanitary, customers before me said "well we better get out of here" I ignored it and sat down. we got menus but the waitress was on the phone, she came back 5 minutes later and said food? we said what we wanted but weren't done yet and she ran away and went back onto her cell phone. all in all service was shit food was sub par. way better pho places within a 15 minute radius, would not eat here. read more

I had pho a couple times before and wasn't wowed till I came here. I am hooked. Tried several and settled on the p4 as my fave. The staff are friendly and the food comes quickly and is satisfying. Just wish the restaurant was a little bigger. read more

Finally a pho place that has opened in the Brentwood area! I honestly think this is one of the best pho places in Burnaby. The restaurant itself is rather cozy with very modern decorations. Not to mention, it's extremely clean with amazing service and food! The food here comes in very large portions and is priced moderately. I ordered their P1. Pho D'lite beef in a large. I'm extremely impressed with how authentic the food was and how fresh everything was as well. The proportions of ingredients to noodles and soup ratio was perfect! Overall, I'm extremely pleased with Pho D'lite and I'm looking forward to coming back here!! Commuting here is rather easy as well, so if you're ever in the neighborhood, make sure to check out Pho D'lite!! read more

Generally I am not picky with phō... as long as it has phō flavours I leave satisfied. This place however... I ordered the spicy one and mom ordered the house chicken special and both were extremely watery. Mine tasted like water + spicy oil with undercooked beef/chicken meatballs. One more star than deserved because of friendly staff and attentive service. read more

We ordered here for delivery from skip the dishes. When our order arrived, one of the soup containers had completely opened up, and the whole bag was full of soup. Our chicken wings were also soaked. We called skip the dishes and they refunded us so we could order the same meal again, which we did. Our second order also arrived with a bag full of soup, and soaked chicken wings. This wasn't the drivers fault. They also didn't add our chili oil that we paid for. This was very frustrating. We won't be ordering delivery again. The soup tastes good but it's not worth it to have a soupy mess. read more

Food was ok, but I won't be back. Service was ok until the end. Waited for the bill for way too long finally went up to the counter to pay. The two behind the counter had to stop their ever so important conversation for a few seconds. They had no idea where I had just been sitting for the last hour, had to tell them what we had ordered. As I'm paying with my debit the two behind the counter continue their conversation like I'm not there PAYING for my food. If you know anything about service (and yup ladies you are in the service industry) this is where you can make it or break it as the saying goes. Pay attention to the people paying for your service, otherwise they won't be back. Like us. read more

Bland, non-traditional pho. The seafood hot'n'sour soup had tomatoes, celery and broccoli in it, tasted like a tomato broth and I had to pay extra to include any noodles in it - crazy, right? The spring rolls tasted like pork sausage. Meh. read more

Nice little spot in my neighbourhood. perfect for this kind of weather we are having these days. I work in an office about a block away from this place and We were all excited because there has been limited choices other than the homogenous Joeys/Browns/Cactus in the neighbourhood. I have been here 2 times, once with a client and once with my wife. I didn't have a great experience either time I was there: the food was ok but the service is TERRIBLE. We were waiting patiently at the door for a table and no one acknowledged our presence. Then we finally sat down at a table that opened up and the waiter was flustered that we had sat down before he had a chance to clean the table. But we could have stood there all day, no one said hello or we'll be right with you. My prediction is this place will fail because there will be very few return customers. read more

This place is just awesome. I'm a pho lover so I tried many different places. Their pho is the best. I will definitely go back. It's must tried. The only problem is that their place is in a small street. So you won't just drive by here. I found it through yelp. And it was a great catch. read more

Love this little place. Super fast service and the pho is awesome. I always leave happy and full.

I've been to this place twice and both times I have seen some questionable things. The first time I went the pho was great, the downside was I was able to look in to the kitchen and noticed meat sitting in an industrial size bucket on the floor. Didn't feel the best after seeing that. I thought despite what I had seen I'd give it another shot. Once again the pho was great but this time I saw a female server apply lipgloss to her finger which she then applied to her lips. She didn't even try to hide it, she just did it out in the open. Definitely was a huge turn off to me. In conclusion, the pho is great but I don't think I'll be returning unless it's an emergency. read more
