Delicious pho offers exceptional value for price, their large pho isn't just a bigger bowl with extra noodles, it comes with more meat as well thats super tender and tasty. Their salad rolls are also super worth it because for $7 you get two GIANT ones and they give you double the sauce! In my general experience, they are never too crowded so its always a great time and a chill ambiance.

Beef vermicelli bowl was perfect and a good price, $10. Summer roll with peanut sauce hit the spot. Will definitely be ordering from here again

Pork Chop with Rice

This pho place is close to coquitlam centre (like less than 5min walk), so I mostly come here after shopping. I usually order their rice menu, pork chop (review below), but this time I ordered their Large pho bowl #11 (with slice beef, beef tendon and beef tripes). I was so shocked when it came out, it was a really huge bowl (compared to other pho places). and at first I was thought "ahh they might just use large bowl and then put lots of soup inside" but I WAS WRONG. - Pho #11: They really give you lots of noodle and meats. I couldn't finish the whole bowl, so I pack the rest. and it was really cheap like $9.50 for two times eat (dinner at resto and my breakfast the next day haha). they are really generous in portion based. -Pork Chop with rice Generous portion as well, pork was tender and I never dissapointed. One thing tho, they usually give you the sauce seperately in a bottle(the sweet fish sauce, not sure what you call it), I feel the sauce is not "kicking" enough, so I usually pour quite a lot of it. At other place usually they give you like little small bowl of sauce and its more than enough, but in this place they need to make "thicker" sauce. Overall, this place is affordable and staff are friendly. Please make sure you order the large pho instrad of small one since they are only $1 diff.

This pho restaurant is located near Coquitlam Centre. I have to give five stars because it meets all my requirements. Ambiance/atmosphere: The restaurant is clean and it has comfortable seating and areas. Each table is labeled with numbers, so you pay based on what you order and the cashier can charge your table right away. Food: I tried their noodles in soup and even their rice bowl or vermicelli bowl. Everything tastes excellent. The grilled meat does not have any black edges. The restaurant grills the meat properly. They do not overcook to create the black charcoal unhealthy materials on the meat! This is a BONUS! The portion of each dish (does not matter what you order) is quite big. Although I ordered a small bowl, the portion was big. When I compare to the pho that I ordered in Langley (a pho place that is close to work), the same bowl of pho in soup cost more and the portion had less. Pricing: I can't believe this pho place in Coquitlam costs less than the ones in Langley! I thought pho restaurants in Fraser Valley (or located in more east in lower mainland) would cost less. But this is not the case. Great deal here in Coquitlam! Service: Great! All the servers are very friendly. They take good care of all the customers. They would provide whatever you need such as extra bowls, plates, drinks and etc. They act quick. I like it!! Overall, great service great food and great price!

Small #16 - rare beef, flank, tendon, tripe, and beef ball
Mark M.

Found myself on this side of town again right at the lunch hour and decided to give Delicious Pho another shot. Forgot about the free parking underground, so that kinda sucked (but all on me, not the restaurants fault). I ordered pretty much the same thing as last time, completely by accident. The only thing I didn't get was the spring roll. Grilled chicken roll Small #16 - rare beef, flank, tendon, tripe, beef ball I have to say again that the peanut sauce is excellent. Easily one of the top three that I've had in Greater Van (to my tastes anyway). Unlike last time with the generous portion of really greasy chicken, the chicken this time was hard to locate and what was there, was slightly overcooked. Not quite dry, but approaching it. The taste of the very few bean sprouts that were in there actually overpowered any flavor the chicken was supposed to impart. The pickled veggies were quite nice in the roll though. The soup... Broth was nice and clear and decently beefy flavored. Noodles were *just* perfect. Any more time cooking and they'd be too soft. The meats were all great; nice and lean and, even better, a decent amount of it. Even after cooking in the steaming hot broth for awhile, the rare beef almost melted in my mouth. Wonderful. The tendon was exactly how I like it, firm yet gelatinous, not overcooked at all. Perfect. The tripe, for the most part, was this giant chunk, which usually signals some foulness. Nope. Well cleaned and perfectly cooked. The beef ball (well, half of one large beef ball) was your standard beef ball. Good, but nothing to write home about (Ma! I found this awesome beef ball and we're going to get married! Yeah... None of that). Service was great. Very prompt and friendly. I had my glass of water on the table almost before I got the menu open. Gotta like that. I wish that Yelp would allow half star ratings (as I mentioned in my first review) because I'd like to give them a full star more than what I would have given last time (3.5 compared to the 2.5 I wanted to last time). Due to that, I guess I'll bump them up to a 4 star. Good job, Delicious Pho. Keep working on that grilled chicken roll though.

Real estate in my area just went up a notch with this place. While there are about 4 pho restaurants within a 10 minute walk from me, I'm sublimely happy Delicious Pho is the closest. One thing that differentiates them: the pho is actually good. The broth is flavourful, marked with fresh ingredients and noticeably lacking excessive MSG. It made a good balance of hearty beefy noodles and light, clear soup that didn't make you bloated for hours after. The lemongrass grilled meats are also legit. It's always a sign of a good kitchen staff when they pickle the carrots and the nuoc cham is blended well. One thing they can improve on is better portions and ditching the stupid large plates that take up the whole table. I admire the attempt to serve it on huge westcoast plates that give the illusion of larger portions; unfortunately this does not work well with Asian cuisine. It's enough food for sure, but we can all have more deliciousness. Why not right? The broth could also be a tad piping hot. Nothing's worse than bordering lukewarm pho broth. It's bright and airy inside, with pleasant, soothing music. Certainly a good place to dine in or do takeout. When you go, treat yourself to the Vietnamese coffee. You can't go wrong with dark coffee and condensed milk. It's one of the simplest pleasures of my life. For a place that only opened three weeks ago, I look forward to years of having them in the neighbourhood.

Great service. The food is always amazing. We come here 5 times a week. The customer service is first class. We are customers for life here. Only setback is the phone signal is not available.

Higher ceilings than DT

I don't hand out 5's easily like Santa Claus, but boy, show me a better pho place in Coquitlam nearby, it's on me ;) 3 things that stand out for me: broth: naturally no msg, tasty. quantity & quality: as per pic, look how many pieces of tendon/tripe: easily half the bowl, and after I gobbled down a few big pieces too. For the first time ever, one cannot complain about not enough tendon---almost too much lol. The two pieces of Beef balls (ordered the small size) also meaty, not like some places where they would cut these into micro-pieces. atmosphere: maybe the high loft ceilings have something to do with it, as there's no heavy fish sauce smell like at some of the older establishments. Or perhaps they've got a nicer ventilation system. While it's been here for years, decor still modern enough. Good date material, corner location across from the plaza, so lots of sunlight. Free parking if you're willing to cross the street, north-wise. Otherwise, pay street machine. Young servers who speak fluent English, helpful, asked for steamed sprouts, no problem.

The new location is in Richmond near the Richmond Oval, across where T&T use to be. The space is pretty big, and clean, with around 10 tables spaced out. There's definitely room to put in more tables, but I think they want to test it out. Everything on the menu looks delicious. We ordered No.9 on the noodle soup, with eye round steak, well-done brisket, fatty brisket, soft tendon & beef tripe, and a couple of spring rolls. The price is very reasonable, within $20 for a bowl of pho, and there was also a 10% off for the soft opening, The broth is rich and tasty, however on the salty side. I would suggest to squeeze the lime into the broth to balance out the salty taste. Portion is pretty big as we couldn't finish in one go. I like how clear the broth is, and a lot of meat it comes with. It's well balanced. The rice roll is made out of rice paper, instead of the spring roll paper. Be aware that it's going to be sticky on your teeth, haha. I personally not a fan, but I know it's authentic. The service was pretty good, a little slow since it just opened, but the servers are nice and friendly. It's a family business, and they all use to work in the Coquitlam location. It's pretty busy during lunch hours, and I have no doubt that it will slowly build up to the community. I mean, who doesn't like a good bowl of pho in winter?

Regular size and a #A1 fried rolls(2pc) The broth was nice and hot and had decent flavor but not a beefy depth I've had at other pho places. But not the worst.. and I've had much worse. This is fairly standard. The noodles were cooked perfectly, beautiful chew and texture. Decent amount of beef Brisket, tendon and balls. Overall solid bowl of pho. Nothing bad here. The fried rolls were beautifully crispy and not overly oily. The filling was tasty and had a very nice texture. Fish sauce was a bit lacking in my opinion. Wasn't horrible bit i felt it could be a bit stronger in flavor? Took a piece of wifeys grilled lemon grass chicken from her pho. Was nicely cooked. No complaints there. As said before overall everything was decent and fairly standard for a solid meal. No negatives but also nothing stands out. Would definitely frequent this establishment again if in the area.
