Why do I have to perform surgery on the beef myself? BUY BETTER MEAT. (Ordered Beef Stew for takeout)
Marty M.

Not good. Ordered Beef Stew for take-out. The 2 people who helped with my order were very nice. I live 2 minutes away and thought I'd finally try this place. I took a bite as soon as I got into the kitchen and it was barely even warm already... The beef was all fat and the parts that were actual meat were dry and over cooked. I had to get a knife and fork out to trim it all off. Very bad. I order beef stew from other pho places quite often and this place makes one inedible version. Do not recommend. Horrible meal. Also, they didnt give any cutlery ? My little spoon at home is not made for Pho...

Our venue for an early-lunch recently. A new-to-us restaurant, and 'discovered' after leaving some medical and shopping activities nearby earlier that morning. The restaurant looked bright and cheery, the window's open sign was 'on', and we were ready to give it a try. We parked in their lot, were welcomed inside, and seated. Hot teas, and menus came quickly to our table. Ambience: restaurant was spotlessly clean, neat, and tidy - and quiet. Service: table service was friendly, courteous, and caring throughout our stay. Food: menu item numbers and descriptions. #26 - yellow egg noodle (soup) w/BBQ pork, wonton & veggie. #65 - shrimp salad rolls. #72 - spring rolls. #73 - chicken wings. #75 - mango & squid salad. Decent presentations, and good preparations. Good grief, I missed taking a photo of the noodle soup as served, but tried to catch a few looks of it later, as it was enjoyed. I did catch photos of the other dishes as brought to our table, and we enjoyed each and every one of them. For us, all preparations were on-the-mark, distinctly flavourful, and tasty. The spring rolls well-stuffed, and 'the' best tasted in a good while, the mango salad a taste delight, and the egg noodle soup the same, with well-cooked ingredients, flavourful broth, and the wontons a spicy, tasty surprise! 'Pho Net' was a nice find, and provided a fun, and much-enjoyed lunch experience.

Strawberry smoothie ($6)

I finally made my way to give this restaurant a try. I wanted to try their version of bun rieu (tomato crab soup with vermicelli). We were seated right away. Tea and menus were dropped off. We ordered the bun rieu, house special pho, spring roll, strawberry smoothie and iced coffee with condensed milk. Food arrived fairly quickly as we stopped by after the lunch rush. The bun rieu was good. There was real crab meat, slices of pork hock, tofu puff, tomato and crab paste. There was good amount of noodles. The broth could be stronger in crab flavour, but I was still very satisfied with my meal. The strawberry smoothie was more diary than strawberries. I found the iced coffee to be on the weaker side. I took a sip of the house special pho and the broth was decent with a stronger star anise flavour while not too greasy. The beef tendon was missing or very small pieces that we could not find it anywhere in the bowl. We did not want to bother staff to ask where was the tendon. The spring roll was made well. I prefer the rice paper wrapper over the wheat wrapper, but the filling was tasty. Service was fast. However, our server did not acknowledge our child as a customer. We had to ask for an extra bowl and fork. Credit card payment accepted. Restrooms were clean.

Ice coffee with condensed milk and jackfruit smoothie

Newly opened Vietnamese restaurant in Coquitlam. They have a 15% off banner hanging out to attract people's eyes. Interior decoration is pretty. We didn't have the chance to try their pho or vermicelli dishes today as we're already full. But we did ordered some drinks and the banh mi to try. The ice vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and jackfruit smoothie are both moderate and refreshing. We ordered cold cut banh mi and it's quite tasty. The bun is crispy and soft inside. But I can't taste too much pate flavor in this sandwich. Their noodle dishes are about $18-$20, which are on the pricier side compared to other vietnamese restaurants. Customer service is friendly. They have the 15% off sign but we received original prices for our final bill...

My partner and I have driven past this place several times over the last months. A newer restaurant in town and Vietnamese. We knew we wanted to dine in and give it a try.... And try we did. Service was quick and polite. Food exceeded expectations. Absolutely incredible flavour and freshness. Highly recommend the Pho - seasoned to perfection. Must try.

The new location is in Richmond near the Richmond Oval, across where T&T use to be. The space is pretty big, and clean, with around 10 tables spaced out. There's definitely room to put in more tables, but I think they want to test it out. Everything on the menu looks delicious. We ordered No.9 on the noodle soup, with eye round steak, well-done brisket, fatty brisket, soft tendon & beef tripe, and a couple of spring rolls. The price is very reasonable, within $20 for a bowl of pho, and there was also a 10% off for the soft opening, The broth is rich and tasty, however on the salty side. I would suggest to squeeze the lime into the broth to balance out the salty taste. Portion is pretty big as we couldn't finish in one go. I like how clear the broth is, and a lot of meat it comes with. It's well balanced. The rice roll is made out of rice paper, instead of the spring roll paper. Be aware that it's going to be sticky on your teeth, haha. I personally not a fan, but I know it's authentic. The service was pretty good, a little slow since it just opened, but the servers are nice and friendly. It's a family business, and they all use to work in the Coquitlam location. It's pretty busy during lunch hours, and I have no doubt that it will slowly build up to the community. I mean, who doesn't like a good bowl of pho in winter?

She got us menus and we perused what we wanted. We were given hot tea right away to drink.. the server came and took our order. Wife ordered #c4 pho grilled lemon grass chicken i ordered #p15 pho brisket, tendon, tripe, beef balls. Regular size and a #A1 fried rolls(2pc) The broth was nice and hot and had decent flavor but not a beefy depth I've had at other pho places. But not the worst.. and I've had much worse. This is fairly standard. The noodles were cooked perfectly, beautiful chew and texture. Decent amount of beef Brisket, tendon and balls. Overall solid bowl of pho. Nothing bad here. The fried rolls were beautifully crispy and not overly oily. The filling was tasty and had a very nice texture. Fish sauce was a bit lacking in my opinion. Wasn't horrible bit i felt it could be a bit stronger in flavor? Took a piece of wifeys grilled lemon grass chicken from her pho. Was nicely cooked. No complaints there. As said before overall everything was decent and fairly standard for a solid meal. No negatives but also nothing stands out. Would definitely frequent this establishment again if in the area.

They have excellent juice and smoothie options as well as Vietnamese coffee. They bake their bread and Kouign Amann pastries fresh every day which makes all the difference.
