After driving 30 minutes from Prosper at least once (passing 3 other Vietnamese places) to get chicken Pho, I have concluded that I LOVE this place!!! I have only got the chicken Pho but the broth is so flavorful and they give you a ton of chicken and all the fixings for it. The fixings include: crispy onions, chives, basil, sprouts, hoisin/Sriracha, fresh jalapeños. I might be missing one more thing but either way it's the bomb! Everyone I bring here loves it. It's a small little place with plenty of table arrangements so you may have a little wait during lunch time (because apparent EVERYONE else loves this place too!), but it's definitely worth the wait. I usually order it to go, and my order is usually ready in 5-15 minutes. The customer service is also good. Everyone has been friendly and helpful. They have an interesting waiting system where you sit in seats towards back of restaurant rather than write your name on a waitlist. I do not recommend large groups for this restaurant. The food itself is decent. I wouldn't say it's super great or anything, but if you are shopping around Allen outlets, this is a shirt drive. If you are very hungry, you may want to get the xl pho bowl, but be warned, it is very big. The one thing I didnt like about their combination is that it doesnt come with meatballa. This is the best phô in Texas. I have eaten at a lot of phô places and very few offer the pho with different beef cuts AND TIPE AND TENDON which are so delicious. Lots of noodles, basil, sliced jalapeños, and bean sprouts. If you finish your noodles and still have broth, you can also get more noodles for a small fee. The family run business are really nice people. There are lots of other selections on the menu if phô isn't your favorite option. read more

I live really close by, so it's to my advantage that this is an easy to go place for pho especially if it's cold or I'm sick. The place is a small mom and pop shop kinda restaurant. It was actually pretty packed when my husband and I came in for a late lunch around 4-5 pm. Hardly any Asian customers though, which tends to bother me somewhat. Now there's certain foods that I'm not such a big connoisseur about because they taste the same to me, unless it's terribly bad. One of which is pho. I ordered the special combination #1 so it has everything. I combined the typical bean sprouts and basil and lime. I put the sriracha and hoisin sauce on the side to dip in because I feel like the taste is so strong, that it takes away the flavor from the soup. The broth was flavorful and the noodles were nicely thin and slippery. The beef wasn't extraordinary. I don't really eat the flank. Overall, good pho for me. On the side I had a Thai tea, which was great! I usually don't order Thai tea outside of a Thai restaurant, but it was only $2.50. If you've never had it, you have to mix the drink before you drink it. My husband split with me a spring roll order. There's only 2, so it seems kinda pricy compared to what I've had at other places. It was nice and hot and crispy, but there wasn't much inside. I have to say that I won't order that again. I'll probably come back just for convenience. Pho is pho to me. read more

One visit and this is my favorite Pho place. I had the P7 today, eye of round and flank. Absolutely packed with flavor. The steak is super tender, the noodles are perfect, and the fresh basil, jalapeños, and bean sprouts allow you to make it your own. The greeter/server who carries herself like she's probably an owner is very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. She's also got a bit of fun sass which made the whole experience; lunch with my wife for a Friday lunch just perfect. Beware, this place is popping. Decided to try this place out because of the reviews. Ordered the P1. Special Combination Pho and the Fried Dumplings. The dumplings were nothing special. Small and a bit flavorless. The filling was scarce and timidly seasoned. Served with pre-package sauce. To be honest i wish i had ordered the Eggrolls instead but overall they are enough to satisfy a dumpling craving even if i like the Kroger ones better. The Pho on the other hand, was delicious! The broth was clear, as it should be, and quite flavorful. It didnt seem to oily or semi-sweet, which seems to be the case in some pho places i've tried. However I aded some salt to my broth to bring out the flavor of the noodles and beef a little more (a matter of personal taste). The amount of meat was okay, but i didnt get any meatballs on my plate. The noodles are exactly what you come to expect from a good pho place. They offer small, large and extra large sizes for their Pho. I ordered the large and it was mostly what i get as regular size in other places. Also had the thai tea. It was not overly sweet and just strong enough. Overall a good flavor. The restaurant is small and would not be the best choice for a large group. It's one of my top 2 spots in North Texas outside of Garland/Richardson Takeout 2 stars It's literally impossible to get a hold of them to do takeout. I really don't want to pay extra fees for uber eats and the likes and prefer takeout since we have young kids. I've tried so many different days and on the last one tried 22 times to get through and it either rings to answering machine or you can't get through. She recommended mixing up different cuts of beef for our pho and it was delicious. She also recommended the shrimp egg roll and I enjoyed it. I was excited to check out this place, it's right down the street from me and I've been wanting some good Pho. After tasting the food I'm so confused by these reviews. We ordered Pho and a beef bah mi. The Pho broth was very bland and lacked flavor. We thought for sure the Bah Mi would be good, but unfortunately it was a miss too. The meat was over cooked and fatty and the sandwich lacked the traditional Vietnamese toppings we know and love. Save your money and buy ramen noodles from the package instead. read more

2.5 stars When we first moved around the area, we were so glad that there was an authentic Pho restaurant nearby. The first few times were good! Nothing to complain about, fully satisfying our pho craving. However, one particular lunch visit changed everything. The pho broth was almost just plain hot water. As if they ran out of broth so added water to make more. It was so bad my boyfriend couldn't even finish half his bowl. And let me just say, this guy is the nicest guy that will never complain about other people's creations. A few months down the road, we came back. Not the same. We came back again. Nope, not the same. Pho Crystal is very inconsistent with their broth. We will probably not be back unless we are in dying need of pho and don't want to drive far. BUT! Just to start off I hate to even have to give a star. I have NEVER been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Went with a friend who is a frequent customer. I am vegetarian but generally not picky. I asked what options were vegetarian, the lady who I assume owns the place said that the veggie pho was, I asked her if the broth was vegetarian. She said it was so I ordered that. The food came rather quickly. I have been vegetarian for over 15 years, so I know what I want to eat and what I don't want to eat. My friend tasted the broth too and she said it tasted just like the chicken broth. You could see the fatty bubbles. I politely asked if they were sure nothing else was used, the guy that came over didn't know so he asked the same lady. I hate to send food back! I hate it, but I didn't feel comfortable eating it. I asked for the menu to look for something different. We called the woman over and told her that I wasn't comfortable eating it so I would order something else. I will add that I stupidly even said, "sorry".She said a couple of different things including, "we boil it separately", then "honey we don't even make it here", then something about taking the chicken out, needless to say I wasn't going to eat it. She also quickly responded to my comment about ordering something different, "okay but you have to pay for this because you ordered it", meaning the pho. So I agreed to pay, but said, "okay so what here doesn't contain fish sauce maybe a rice or noodles", she said, "there's nothing I can make for you and walked away". My friend who is not vegetarian felt so bad she didn't eat her food, and we decided to leave. We asked for the check, and went up to pay at the counter. I said to the woman that there was no reason to be rude and that all I did was ask to order something else. Instead of trying to talk about it the woman got so upset and said that I wanted to get the first plate for free and that I didn't believe her!! I don't believe the customer is always right, by any means but I'm sorry if I don't feel comfortable eating my food and I'm polite about asking to order something else why would you treat a customer like trash or a bother?? We went back and forth, and she got really upset in front of many other customers. I understand that not every restaurant will have vegetarian options but A. I don't need to be lied to and B. Why be rude about me asking to order something else while agreeing to pay for the first plate I wasn't going to eat? I am appalled at the service or lack there of. So many restaurants try to make accommodations for people that have allergies or do not eat meat. In this day and age if you aren't willing to make accommodations that's fine, just don't be an asshole about it. read more

Currently, no dine in due to Covid. We always order here for pho and spring rolls. Portions are very big and generous with their meat and veggies. The broth is so good, you don't even need to add hoisin sauce or sriracha. The owners are always nice and our orders are pretty quick. This is hands down the best pho I've tried. There is something unique and wholesome about the broth and I just had to drink it all! The regular size bowl was filling for me but they have a large and x-large size.
