Pho Ga - Chicken rice noodle soup. Broth - quite bland and lacked any depth of flavor. It was like lightly seasoned packaged chicken broth. Chicken - Though I would have prefered dark meat chicken, chicken breast is what the server claimed was int he soup, and so was expecting sliced chicken breast. Supposedly it was chicken breast meat, but I liken it to the processed "white meat" patties they serve at Subway. The little nuggets of meat had a slight chicken flavor, but it was almost pink and kind of gross to look at. Cha Gio - the egg rolls themselves were fine, but the limp little pieces of lettuce it sat on was kind of gross. I've been coming here for the past few months now and I'm finally writing my review. This restaurant is in a small retail center and is quite small in itself. It doesn't look like much from the outside but this is definitely when you shouldn't judge a book by its cover! The staff is always on point. Friendly. Fast. Observant. And makes me feel like I'm home. I typically get either the pho tai or pho tai bo hue. Either pho dishes are great. The reason why I love their pho? I don't feel like I drank 10 gallons of MSG after eating there. The noodles to meat ratio is even and they serve pop in a bottle instead of a can like other places. There's a lot more items on their menu but the pho tai bo hue is one that's not on every pho restaurants menu so, it's extra special here! read more

Found out about this place through Yelp...nice little gem. Location, food and service were all great. Location - about a 10 minute drive from my house. My wife also likes it because it's only a few minutes away from her favorite outlet mall - the Allen Premium Outlet mall. It's about 2 miles east of the outlet mall on Stacy Rd...in a little strip mall right by a 7-11 on the north side of Stacy -- we almost missed it. Food - We were planning on ordering Pho, but ended up getting the Grilled Pork Fried Rice and the Vermicelli with Grilled Pork and Egg Roll. Both dishes tasted vibrant and fresh (unlike most of the other pho places within the Plano/Allen/Frisco area). Service - Prompt service and they even gave both me and my wife free bowls of the pho broth because we both wanted some soup, but not the full order! Restroom - Very clean...and they actually have soft toilet tissue in it -- not the abrasive stuff you might usually find in some restaurants! I live really close by, so it's to my advantage that this is an easy to go place for pho especially if it's cold or I'm sick. The place is a small mom and pop shop kinda restaurant. It was actually pretty packed when my husband and I came in for a late lunch around 4-5 pm. Hardly any Asian customers though, which tends to bother me somewhat. Now there's certain foods that I'm not such a big connoisseur about because they taste the same to me, unless it's terribly bad. One of which is pho. I ordered the special combination #1 so it has everything. I combined the typical bean sprouts and basil and lime. I put the sriracha and hoisin sauce on the side to dip in because I feel like the taste is so strong, that it takes away the flavor from the soup. The broth was flavorful and the noodles were nicely thin and slippery. The beef wasn't extraordinary. I don't really eat the flank. Overall, good pho for me. On the side I had a Thai tea, which was great! I usually don't order Thai tea outside of a Thai restaurant, but it was only $2.50. If you've never had it, you have to mix the drink before you drink it. My husband split with me a spring roll order. There's only 2, so it seems kinda pricy compared to what I've had at other places. One visit and this is my favorite Pho place. I had the P7 today, eye of round and flank. Absolutely packed with flavor. The steak is super tender, the noodles are perfect, and the fresh basil, jalapeños, and bean sprouts allow you to make it your own. The greeter/server who carries herself like she's probably an owner is very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. She's also got a bit of fun sass which made the whole experience; lunch with my wife for a Friday lunch just perfect. Beware, this place is popping. After driving 30 minutes from Prosper at least once (passing 3 other Vietnamese places) to get chicken Pho, I have concluded that I LOVE this place!!! I have only got the chicken Pho but the broth is so flavorful and they give you a ton of chicken and all the fixings for it. The fixings include: crispy onions, chives, basil, sprouts, hoisin/Sriracha, fresh jalapeños. I might be missing one more thing but either way it's the bomb! Everyone I bring here loves it. It's a small little place with plenty of table arrangements so you may have a little wait during lunch time (because apparent EVERYONE else loves this place too!), but it's definitely worth the wait. Food 4 stars It's not like the food I'm used to in So Cal but it has the most well rounded menu that tastes good, some dishes more authentic than others. It's one of my top 2 spots in North Texas outside of Garland/Richardson Takeout 2 stars It's literally impossible to get a hold of them to do takeout. I really don't want to pay extra fees for uber eats and the likes and prefer takeout since we have young kids. I've tried so many different days and on the last one tried 22 times to get through and it either rings to answering machine or you can't get through. I was excited to check out this place, it's right down the street from me and I've been wanting some good Pho. After tasting the food I'm so confused by these reviews. We ordered Pho and a beef bah mi. The Pho broth was very bland and lacked flavor. We thought for sure the Bah Mi would be good, but unfortunately it was a miss too. The meat was over cooked and fatty and the sandwich lacked the traditional Vietnamese toppings we know and love. Save your money and buy ramen noodles from the package instead. read more

Just to start off I hate to even have to give a star. I have NEVER been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Went with a friend who is a frequent customer. I am vegetarian but generally not picky. I asked what options were vegetarian, the lady who I assume owns the place said that the veggie pho was, I asked her if the broth was vegetarian. She said it was so I ordered that. The food came rather quickly. I have been vegetarian for over 15 years, so I know what I want to eat and what I don't want to eat. My friend tasted the broth too and she said it tasted just like the chicken broth. You could see the fatty bubbles. I politely asked if they were sure nothing else was used, the guy that came over didn't know so he asked the same lady. I hate to send food back! I hate it, but I didn't feel comfortable eating it. I asked for the menu to look for something different. We called the woman over and told her that I wasn't comfortable eating it so I would order something else. I will add that I stupidly even said, "sorry".She said a couple of different things including, "we boil it separately", then "honey we don't even make it here", then something about taking the chicken out, needless to say I wasn't going to eat it. She also quickly responded to my comment about ordering something different, "okay but you have to pay for this because you ordered it", meaning the pho. So I agreed to pay, but said, "okay so what here doesn't contain fish sauce maybe a rice or noodles", she said, "there's nothing I can make for you and walked away". My friend who is not vegetarian felt so bad she didn't eat her food, and we decided to leave. We asked for the check, and went up to pay at the counter. I said to the woman that there was no reason to be rude and that all I did was ask to order something else. Instead of trying to talk about it the woman got so upset and said that I wanted to get the first plate for free and that I didn't believe her!! I don't believe the customer is always right, by any means but I'm sorry if I don't feel comfortable eating my food and I'm polite about asking to order something else why would you treat a customer like trash or a bother?? We went back and forth, and she got really upset in front of many other customers. I understand that not every restaurant will have vegetarian options but A. I don't need to be lied to and B. Why be rude about me asking to order something else while agreeing to pay for the first plate I wasn't going to eat? I am appalled at the service or lack there of. So many restaurants try to make accommodations for people that have allergies or do not eat meat. In this day and age if you aren't willing to make accommodations that's fine, just don't be an asshole about it. read more
