Fast service, good friendly staff nice portions and good flavor. The crab Rangoon is like a mix of deep fried spring roll snd crab mix it's amazing. The Pho soup stock is full of flavor. Highly recommend

Just looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled upon this Thai place. The food came out so quickly and was sooo good. Highly recommend. (Plates are large portions and what in the photos in the left overs we packed to take home)

This business just may have the best Thai Soup in the Anchorage area. It is hard to find as it is located in the back of a small mall and not visible until you drive right to it. But it is worth the hunt and drive from Anchorage if you like Southeast Asian food. They specialize in Thai but have Loa and Vietnamese dishes. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. It is suitable for families and groups. I started with 3 fresh spring rolls served with a vinaigrette peanut sauce. The rolls were large and greasy with lettuce, carrot, cucumber, chicken, shrimp and noodle. $7.95 They were crunchy, flavorful and excellent. I had the Thai Tom Yum Talay Soup. It is a large bowl of dark red broth the is mildly spicy with Shrimp, Seafood balls, and imitation crab. Lots of seafood. Also sliced mushrooms, Kaffir lime leaves, Chili, Lime juice and Cilantro. You can taste each of the ingredients and the seafood is cooked very well. $14.95 and served with your choice of shrimp or squid and Brown or Jasmine rice. The rice comes on the side in a medium sized bowl. They serve a variety of drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant anytime you are in Eagle River or just craving good SE Asian Thai and PHO food.

We love eating here because of how FRESH it all is! MANY choices, but not overwhelming. Some of the best Pad Thai and Phô around! Service is typically good, staff are kind. We've been eating here for years and look forward to more years to come.

The Thai food here really impressed me! In my opinion it is definitely some of the best Thai food I've had since moving to AK though I must confess I haven't eaten at any of the many Thai establishments in Anchorage proper. In ER Pho & Thai is better than Jimmy's and Fried Rice Express for Thai cuisine. I ordered for take out, and service over the phone and at the counter was prompt and friendly. Food was ready for pick up in about 25 minutes. The food was packaged very well. The peanuts and sprouts were separate from the noodle in the pad Thai container. The spring rolls were wrapped n plastic wrap so they stayed moist, and the curry was packaged separate from the rice. I ordered fresh spring rolls, beef pad Thai, and chicken panag curry. The portion sizes were very generous, and the flavors were excellent. I asked for the pad thai to be spicy, and they delivered with a great spice level. The noodles were all covered in sauce, and it was not dried out even when I warmed up leftovers. Te curry had such good flavor, and was thick. Sometimes when you order curry for take out it is very soupy, and not a hearty paste. The only thing I did not like were the spring rolls. The shrimp tasted off, and I felt like they had no flavor. I will definitely be ordering Thai food from this restaurant again, and plan to try their pho as well.

Their pho hits the spot. I've had their curry and more, as well, and I haven't been disappointed.

Pho looked good. Don't order the Pad Khee Mao though. They used cheap sauce on thick noodles, claiming that was the tomatoes. It was like a ketchup and curry mixture. The chicken wasn't cooked well, tasted very gamey. Also menu prices have increased in the last few months

This was a Doordash order…read more If I was to base this review on the eggrolls it would be one star. So don't get them. It's the first little box you're probably gonna open and it's gonna make you mad. They're $10 for two eggrolls the size of your finger. They were unremarkable and should've been two dollars. I was ready to be pissed off about the rest of the food, but I was pleased. I got the chicken lo mein, and it was absolutely delicious. The noodles were the perfect consistency. The chicken was tender, and I was not expecting that, and the veggies were perfect. It was so freaking good. I was also ready for the sesame chicken to be meh. Or at least hurt my mouth. It was soft, perfect battered covering perfect amount of sauce. Perfect amount of sesame seeds. White rice doesn't always grab me and there were two big scoops in the container and it's the best rice I think I've ever had and it went really well with the chicken. And the last item was a roll that had tempura shrimp, crab, avocado, eel, and then your standard spicy mayo and EL sauce. It was outstanding. The only thing I didn't like was the prices. I understand they're inflated for Doordash. I also understand that Doordash provides consistent and constant business to these places and I still don't like the prices. They are comparable to every other place in town though so understand that if you're gonna blow some money on DoorDash and sushi at least get the good stuff at Jimmy's.

But tonight, after going to a different Thai food restaurant, who are now takeout only, which is a no-go, I needed an alternate, so I randomly selected from Yelp, a good Thai food recommendation, and when this appeared, I realised it was the place where I'd gotten the good Massaman from. However, their description states they are noted for their standout Panang. The interior is ok, not fine dining, standard tables and chairs, not too cluttered with artwork, and music was playing. As I also love Panang, I chose to have that with chicken, and husband ordered something called Khao Mu Dang. We also ordered a Thai Tea. The server was energetic, and smiled a lot. We didn't have to wait long, I was served a hefty portion of rice, and a big bowl of curry sauce. Mine came out first, and I started without him. I must say that I do agree, this is standout Panang, and it's the best I've had in Anchorage. It's just the right amount of kick. Just enough to get my nose running after a few mouthfuls. The sauce is amazing, and the chicken is plentiful, and very tender, and I do have leftover sauce and rice in the fridge for later. If it were served on its own as a soup, without rice, I'd call it "Chicken Soup for the Soul" because it surely did my soul good, even eating it alone without rice. Superb, perfectly spiced, perfectly seasoned, deliciously umami. I think I could eat this several times a week, and not feel cheated. His dish had some pretty spectacularly flavoured pork, it was delicious, and the sauce, yet again, so good, but his was what they call a "dry dish" whereas mine was "soupy" or maybe they call it wet. I don't know, all I know is, that the amount of times I was saying "mmmm" was kind of embarrassing. So, that was an absolutely delightful dinner, and I'm grateful because we'd not been anywhere in recent weeks that thrilled me like this. Will definitely be back for more. The Thai Tea was also very good.

They were able to sit the people coming in and filled to go orders constantly. It was not a moment that went by, that no one walked through the door. How could I miss this spot for 3 years? There was one server, but she served everyone with a smile on her face. My daughter and I enjoyed the ambiance, presentation, and the food was delicious! I don't know what type of dipping sauce came with the fresh rolls, but never had at any other Thai restaurants. It was nice and light, tasted like basil with a hint of spice. There was not one thing I can think of complaining about. By the way, the water tasted crisp and the waitress came around and refilled our cups. Great experience!

The food is spicy, as it should be. We thought a three on their spice level from 1-5 would be medium. But it was properly hot and delicious! Get the papaya salad, it's refreshing with its sour, sweet, and spicy combination that defines Thai cuisine. We also got the pad see ew with shrimp. Balanced and delicious. And the gra pow fried rice with chicken, I could eat that all by myself. I mean, if you don't like basil, are you even Asian? My mouth was burning but burning happy. A real gem of a restaurant for Anchorage. Will miss this food when we are back home in Minnesota.
