Just looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled upon this Thai place. The food came out so quickly and was sooo good. Highly recommend. (Plates are large portions and what in the photos in the left overs we packed to take home)

This business just may have the best Thai Soup in the Anchorage area. It is hard to find as it is located in the back of a small mall and not visible until you drive right to it. But it is worth the hunt and drive from Anchorage if you like Southeast Asian food. They specialize in Thai but have Loa and Vietnamese dishes. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. It is suitable for families and groups. I started with 3 fresh spring rolls served with a vinaigrette peanut sauce. The rolls were large and greasy with lettuce, carrot, cucumber, chicken, shrimp and noodle. $7.95 They were crunchy, flavorful and excellent. I had the Thai Tom Yum Talay Soup. It is a large bowl of dark red broth the is mildly spicy with Shrimp, Seafood balls, and imitation crab. Lots of seafood. Also sliced mushrooms, Kaffir lime leaves, Chili, Lime juice and Cilantro. You can taste each of the ingredients and the seafood is cooked very well. $14.95 and served with your choice of shrimp or squid and Brown or Jasmine rice. The rice comes on the side in a medium sized bowl. They serve a variety of drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant anytime you are in Eagle River or just craving good SE Asian Thai and PHO food.

We love eating here because of how FRESH it all is! MANY choices, but not overwhelming. Some of the best Pad Thai and Phô around! Service is typically good, staff are kind. We've been eating here for years and look forward to more years to come.

The Thai food here really impressed me! In my opinion it is definitely some of the best Thai food I've had since moving to AK though I must confess I haven't eaten at any of the many Thai establishments in Anchorage proper. In ER Pho & Thai is better than Jimmy's and Fried Rice Express for Thai cuisine. I ordered for take out, and service over the phone and at the counter was prompt and friendly. Food was ready for pick up in about 25 minutes. The food was packaged very well. The peanuts and sprouts were separate from the noodle in the pad Thai container. The spring rolls were wrapped n plastic wrap so they stayed moist, and the curry was packaged separate from the rice. I ordered fresh spring rolls, beef pad Thai, and chicken panag curry. The portion sizes were very generous, and the flavors were excellent. I asked for the pad thai to be spicy, and they delivered with a great spice level. The noodles were all covered in sauce, and it was not dried out even when I warmed up leftovers. Te curry had such good flavor, and was thick. Sometimes when you order curry for take out it is very soupy, and not a hearty paste. The only thing I did not like were the spring rolls. The shrimp tasted off, and I felt like they had no flavor. I will definitely be ordering Thai food from this restaurant again, and plan to try their pho as well.

Their pho hits the spot. I've had their curry and more, as well, and I haven't been disappointed.

Pho looked good. Don't order the Pad Khee Mao though. They used cheap sauce on thick noodles, claiming that was the tomatoes. It was like a ketchup and curry mixture. The chicken wasn't cooked well, tasted very gamey. Also menu prices have increased in the last few months

We both enjoyed the HUGE pile of fresh cut French fries and appreciated they kept our water glasses full. Like, Home-Alone-slap-your-virgin-face-with-after-shave-and-scream-levels of blown away. Not only do they have a TON of taps. Pay no attention to some of the older reviews that specify the number of taps. The current number is now: 64. I'll say that again SIXTY-FOUR taps. If there is a place in the state of AK with more taps than that, I would like to know where it is. Currently, to my brain, this place is the current Sourdough Tap King. Anyway, not only do they have the MOST taps. They have some really unique stuff. There were beers on tap here that I've never even seen for sale at the larger Brown Jug warehouses! There are beers on tap I didn't even know were distributed in AK! Most impressive. The food, was just OK. I got some tacos and they were alright. They filled me up but weren't much to write home about. Given the Gambrinian fortitude on display here, I will definitely be back. It makes an excellent post-hike stop if you're up near Twin Peaks.

The family that owns and operates this gem is Greek and they are not only amazing cooks, but they care about their community!! I have been there eating several times this winter and obviously homeless people would come to the door and be given water, hot soup, half a sandwich, etc. that just made me love this place more. Now to the food. First of all I had the meatball sub which was not only delicious but super filling. The meat was very well seasoned, and the fresh basil just made the marinara pop even more, add the freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and you've got something special. The homemade bread puts this thing into overdrive! Crispy on the outside, light, delicate but not falling apart and heavy enough to hold together all that deliciousness without being filling like you just ate a large pizza. Now to the ridiculous tomato basil soup. I love the clam chowder but the tomato basil is my favorite. Savory, full of flavor, smooth, creamy and not greasy. This in my opinion is the perfect pairing to the meatball sub. You're welcome! The customer service here is amazing too just like the owners and the food. You will always be greeted by a smiling face, and treated like family. You will not regret stopping here. I've eaten the Meatball sub, The Philly, the lasagna and The Gyro ( lamb and chicken) all have been 10 out of 10. The ambiance is like a neighborhood dinner with a small dining room. You will love it!

I ordered the BLT and had the chicken lemon soup The soup was very lemony and salty but I ate the whole bowl it was pretty good. The BLT had too much lettuce on it and a couple pieces of bacon but it was your standard white bread-mayo- bacon-lettuce-tomato. Prices not bad when the sandwiches come with soup or salad. Nice quaint family run local restaurant. I would try the Alfredo next time assuming they make the sauce in house?

The parking lot was packed so we weren't surprised to find a busy dining room. We were told it would be a 15 minutes wait but it was actually closet to 5 minutes. Service was friendly and attentive - I ordered a coffee and it was refilled constantly throughout the entire meal which I appreciate. You'd be surprised how often that little detail gets ignored at other breakfast/brunch places. I ordered the Birria hash and it was a lovely surprise - very flavorful with tender, juicy beef over crispy fried potatoes. I loved the different sauces, salsa, pickled onions, and even sour cream self-service bar from which I helped myself to some of their delicious avocado sauce and molcajete sauce. My companion said her crab Benedict was delicious and very filling. Food portions were generous, I had enough food to take home with me for a second meal. The ambiance of the place was impressive - sort of a modern Mexican feel with some fun details like the grocery items lined up on the wall above the registers. I will definitely be back to try some of the intriguing menu items I didn't get a chance to try. I didn't have any room left to try dessert so I'll have to do that next time!

The aura of the restaurant was intimate and calm. Upon arrival, the music was low and relaxing, setting the perfect tone. After about an hour, the music was turned up slightly--not too loud--allowing everyone to continue enjoying their own conversations. It was definitely a night filled with many celebrated birthdays. When the food arrived, it was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. My family and I loved that everything tasted exactly as described on the menu. I agreed and arrived promptly at 5:00. Several people were ready to enter when the 'open' sign lit up. The restaurant is small, with high industrial ceilings and dark walls. It was nicely furnished with white tablecloths and cloth napkins. The seat at the bar was fine, and the manager mentioned that there were hooks under the rail for our bags. A nice touch! We were there for appetizers and ordered a glass of wine and a rhubarb seltzer first. For food, we ordered the Parker House rolls (out of curiosity to see what a $9 roll tastes like), mac and cheese, tempura shrimp, and the whipped goat cheese and pepper jelly. The rolls arrived first, a small plate of four glistening rolls. I am a pretty good baker, so I may be critical. The rolls were warm, with a buttered top and a sprinkle of salt flakes. The flavor was okay, but I didn't enjoy the overly salted dough. I asked for more butter, but the flavor was disappointing. It seemed rancid. I didn't finish the one I tried. I imagine others might enjoy them... The mac and cheese was delicious! Arriving in a hot metal dish, with a nice bread crumb topping. The cheese was plentiful, and the warm, cheesy dish was ample! The whipped goat cheese and pepper jelly was reminiscent of my Mom's 1970's cream cheese and Pickapeppa Sauce party dish. The items that made the dish delicious were the champagne-dressed arugula and sliced tart apples. The small slices of bread spread with the goat cheese, topped with arugula and sliced apples, gave a creamy, spicy, crunchy, slightly bitter bite! The best dish was the crispy tempura shrimp. They were medium-sized shrimp with a very light, crisp batter! They were tossed in an Asian-inspired chili aioli. They arrived hot and delicious! It was a large serving for an appetizer! My only challenge that I knew that reheating them would be impossible, so we left some behind! The wine list is beautiful, and they offer a nice selection of reds and whites by the glass. I was able to taste a couple before selecting a Malbec. A bonus for my non-drinking friends was the large selection of mocktails, non-alcoholic sours and spritzers, low ABV cocktails for light drinkers, frontier sodas, and coffee drinks professionally made! I looked around the restaurant and saw beautifully cooked steaks! Rare looked rare, and medium was the exact shade of pink I prefer! I will return for a steak soon! My only amusing issue was when I went to the nicely appointed restroom, where there were four chairs across from the toilet, in a nice row. It was hard not to imagine a ghostly audience...
