    Hot Caramel Latte

Service was nice and timely. The latte was not strong and also lacked caramel flavor. The latte tasted more of milk than coffee/espresso.

Cute little place. The breakfast sandwiches were quite tasty. I had the KS special! Mushrooms. Perfectly cooked egg. Just a touch of run. Nice coffee. Pretty matcha latte. Cool hip vibe. Self serve but super nice folks behind the counter.

Super cool atmosphere!!! The matcha lattes, teas and coffee is very good! The brownies are also my favorite treat!!! The people are always friendly and welcoming.

What a treat! My friends and I were in the area to visit Longwood Gardens, so we decided to stop by Philter. I loved the ambience inside and found it very comfortable and cozy. For their drink selections, they seemed pretty standard. There was this specialty mocha that sounded intriguing, but I didn't end up getting it. I opted for an iced hazelnut latte, and wow! it was good. I also liked that they offer the option to get your order for dine-in or to-go, so my latte was served in a stainless steel cup which was a fun touch. Overall, great vibes and great coffee!

Great coffee for a great price + great vibes. 2.50 for a 16oz coffee AND oatmilk wasn't extra!!Came in on a rainy day with friends and we could've sat for hours. It's cozy, inviting, and feels like a living room. Friendly staff with a diverse menu of drinks. Didn't try any of the food tho. Would recommend, and seems like a great place to work for a few hours and get comfy, especially by the windows! Could see it getting a little crowded tho, and run out of places to sit. No outside seating options either.

Oh so delicious, kind, cute, and worth a stop! When visiting family in the area I decided to seek out a spot serving Oatly oatmilk and was overjoyed to find Philter! Starting with an oatmilk Latte, the espresso was on point well rounded and smooth - low acidity and high joy. My oatmilk matcha was equally as delicious - even though it was sweetened it was not sugary but rather simply pleasant! I was grateful for the gluten free vegan chia pudding made with coconut milk and matcha flavor - incredible addition flry travels. Can't wait to come back and enjoy an afternoon of reading in this cute cafe with rustic decor, awesome local art, intriguing chocolates and tea, and a wonderful atmosphere. Definitely recommend for great service, style, and selection!

Such a lovely little coffee shop right in the heart of KSQ! You walk in surrounded by local fare and plants and are warmly greeted by the baristas. They have every coffee you could dream of. (Or teas if you're like me and can't always do the whole "coffee thing") Their chai is absolutely delicious! It's easy to get a too sweet syrupy chai but their is really well balanced and bright! My husband really loved his long black, which is a richer and stronger americano. They have some pastries and breakfast sandwiches there for those would would like a bite with their brews, all around, a darling place!

Talulah's across the street is for families, if you're single, this is the spot for you! Absolutely the best lattes around and the baked goods are pretty darn good too. So come in for that latte and hang or get one to go, you'll keep coming back for more! Baristas are quite friendly and have perfected their craft. The place is usually quiet and chill (except for that occasional family) lol.

You can tell that some places take pride in their coffee. This is one of them. My iced coffee had a nice undertone of flavor. It doesn't have to be too bold. It just hit the tastebuds different if you know what I mean. Plus, a pretty darn good breakfast sandwich on the croissant. I tend to be more of a fan of fresh off the grill. But these did the trick nicely.

Excellent cortado and breakfast sandwich. The rare coffee shop that hits the trifecta of great espresso drinks, tasty hot food options, and cute interior.

Coffee was ok, but only lukewarm. Staff was very disorganized and don't more time socializing than helping customers.

My wife and I both had the Bull's eye Breakfast with 3 pieces of French toast. Liked that it was some kind of Italian loaf and not the normal Texas toast. We finally asked our waitress and she was surprised that we didn't get the "dinner menu". Yeah, we were surprised to find out there was more than just sandwiches for dinner. She apologized that the person who seated us just didn't give us the dinner menus even though it was just about 7pm! So she said if we wanted, they would let us order from the dinner menu and give our original food to someone else. Honestly, by that time, we were sitting there for more than 45 minutes and we were starving, so we just told her we'd take our sandwiches. I have to say she was extremely apologetic about it, and was genuine. We appreciate that, but it's still unlikely we'll return.

The highlights were a delicious beat and burrata salad, a lovely cheese board, and bangin' bread with whipped butter. We had mixed feelings about everything else. I liked the lobster roll but my companion was not impressed. The truffle cheese fries had unmelted shredded cheese on top; I have to believe someone forgot to put them under the broiler. I liked the quinoa fritters (they had a falafel-like herbaceousness), but my companion said they tasted like nothing. My companion liked the short ribs: I thought the meat was yummy but wasn't into the carrots or the gnocchi. (Dear chef, consider serving the short ribs with the truffle cheese fries; that would be an amazing combo if the cheese were melted.) Lastly, my English Garden cocktail was a little weird, like a cucumber bellini. I was expecting something else, I guess. I could be persuaded to try it again, though. In spite of the criticisms, a good meal and good experience. Would absolutely go back. Their brunch is also recommended.

They later came back after realizing they were in the wrong and said they would honor the drink prices but not the appetizers on the happy hour menu. We saw an empty high top table with no chairs outside that we would have stood at, but that wasn't even an option. Instead, we were told we could purchase drinks and walk around outside. Since we were there for a birthday (indicated on the reservation), this was upsetting. We left and found a nearby restaurant with delicious food and all-day happy hour nearby.
