Sure, it's kinda hood, and some have felt that it was too small or not as presentable as other restaurants and Thai spots in LB, but that's part of its charm. There's a local and family-owned vibe here, and I recommend it to all my peoples! Our favourite dishes here have been the bbq pork, pad see ew, fried tofu, tom yum, yellow curry, khao soi, drunken noodles, spicy angel wings, green curry, larb, and kra phao eggplant. All of these have never failed to bring out the "oohs," "ahhs," and "yums" from us! Other solid choices include pad thai, pineapple fried rice, boat noodles, thai crispy garlic chicken with orange sauce, and thai bbq chicken. Yes, we've eaten here a lot and have introduced it to a number of people! The service is very fast at Elephant Thai, and the menu has switched to digital since the pandemic. On the plus side, they have also not gotten rid of their healthcare worker discount (10%)! The parking lot is tiny, but there is local street parking available. It's so close to my hospital that it's so easy to take a quick lunch trip! Come show some love at Elephant Thai Kitchen!

So the base prices were higher, plus there was 4% on top. So I ended up paying $27.55 for a tofu appetizer and mango fried rice which seems excessive. The food was good, I don't have any complaints about that, I just wouldn't have placed the order if I had known that was going to be the price.

The flavor on them could've been a little stronger. Shrimp pad see ew- A. Delicious. Lots of shrimp, they were perfectly deveined and ready to eat. The noodles and sauce were good. The noodles did not stick together, which is how I judge all pad see ew. I would definitely have this again. Egg rolls- B+. They were crisp and filled with fresh veggies. I like that they use glass noodles in their eggrolls. They came with a nice sweet-and-sour sauce. Mango sticky rice- C-. I know this sounds funny, but the rice was way too sticky and hard to cut. The mango was nice and ripe, and the coconut sauce was OK. The Thai tea was very good. A+. I could tell they used a high-quality tea mix. SERVICE: the service was fantastic. Food to go, and it was nicely packaged. The woman who served me is named Dream. What a cool name and she packaged the food like a dream. AMBIENCE: the restaurant shares a patio with Thunderbolt pizza. There's inside seating and the restaurant looked clean and inviting. Parking can be tight.

I ordered chicken spring rolls and pork pad thai for delivery…read more It took about two hours to get delivered. The spring rolls were meh, just ok. The Pad Thai was bad. Just a container full of overcooked noodles, four small pieces of pork, some green onion, and a very small amount of some really strange sauce that had no peanut taste to it at all... not to mention no real additional peanut pieces or garnish. A rip off. Won't order from here again... Pork Pad Thai is one of my favorite dishes and this was one of the worst I've ever tasted... ever.

So at the price we *paid* for this Thai food a few days ago, I'd give it an extremely strong 5. I…read morehate that 18 bucks is an entirely reasonable amount of money to charge for one Thai entree these days, being I remember a time it would've been literally half that, so it was great when a few days ago we were looking to order a quick dinner for pickup through Doordash, originally planning on using a 25%-off coupon, until saw a new Thai place was offering BOGOs on several popular items, including their Thai tea and our favorite Thai noodle dish, pad se ew, which was obviously better than 25% off. So we each got a pad se ew, and I drank a a Thai tea and saved the other one, sans ice, for later. Whether or not they'll still be running a BOGO , but they were an entirely reasonable amount of food to be an entree, and that is just market price for a quality entree these days; I can't live in 2015 forever, unfortunately. I'd definitely buy Thai food here *more* if they kept running BOGOs, though. Anyway, other than being $18, everything about the pad se ew we got was great. Well, maybe it could've used a tiny bit more Chinese broccoli, but I'm happy to report, it *was* Chinese broccoli (a pet peeve of mine, supposedly-Thai places that use American broccoli, a much-inferior vegetable to gai lan), the pork was great, the noodles were perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and a decent sized amount. And, unlike the last couple times I've picked up a Doordash order from Thai District... it was actually ready to be picked up when Doordash told me to pick it up (not too long after ordering), instead of telling me it was ready quickly but then having me wait another 20 minutes once I got there :p. I was totally happy to have gambled on a new place. Thai Tea was also great. No complaints about it, a regular sized Thai tea. Again, $6 being a regular price *feels* wrong to me, but doesn't appear to actually be wrong these days. Or at least, it *is* wrong that everything's this expensive now, but that isn't Thai Rim Naan's fault. $6 for *two* quality Thai teas is of course a much better deal, if they happen to be running that deal when you read this, and you have a use for two Thai teas. :p
