I've been meaning to write this review for a while now. We had a great experience at PF Chang's at the Mall of Georgia. We did the call ahead seating and had to wait just a short time. During that time we enjoyed people watching from their lobby. :) The hostess had a great personality and was working very hard-lots of hungry customers to deal with. Our waitress was awesome. I feel so bad that I can't remember her name. If I find it, I'll update this post. I even mentioned to the manager on the way out what a great job she did. She was very down to earth and personable and a great server. Food was awesome! It's been a while since we've eaten at a PF Chang's, and I don't know why? This place was awesome. Went Friday night. They offered a table then changed their mind. Said it maybe to small. We were three people. One was a child and we aren't big people. The table next to it had 4 people. She said we would have to wait until we complained . The service person was ok but the food was just awful. One person had rice and chicken. Three pieces of chicken bites and no flavored rice. One got sweet and sour chicken. Came with 4 pieces of chicken for $17 And the other was orange chicken which had a lot more chicken but was so mushy with no orange flavor just a mushy flavor. It was awful. The charge $4.50 extra for fried rice . For three people the bill was $93.00. Ridiculous. I don't mind paying that for good food but this was just awful. Never again. Came in for Mall of Ga location for a late lunch on a Monday. My wife and I were seated on arrival. The atmosphere was nice clean and professional. A modern Chinese vibe. We shared the Singapore Special (specialty drink) to start off with. This was a wonderfully refreshing tropical spirit. For food we ordered: Buddha Feast/Tofu/Stir Fried - This dish is a good vegetarian option. It's lightly seasoned with mostly a soy sauce taste coming through. There are plenty of vegetables that contribute to the bulk of the meal. I've had this many times and although there are no issues with the food it's nothing to brag about either. Spicy Miso Ramen/Add Egg - good portion size for ramen. The soup broth seemed to have a prominent tomato taste which I felt was a bit off for a ramen dish. The spice was definitely present so be prepared for that aspect if you order this. This post is for the lovely Mrs. Caroline. My husband and I visit this location quite often and we definitely notice this sweet woman immediately walking through the door. We had dinner last weekend and as always we're greeted and seated by this woman. While eating dinner in the nice little corner area up front by the door, my husband and I had front row seats. We got to see Mrs. Caroline in action. She's moving constantly....greeting, seating, cleaning, smiling and muchhhh more. Wheww..there's not a lot of Mrs. Caroline's in this world today; PF Chang needs a Mrs. Caroline at every location. My husband and I ejoyed dinner as always (Yummy). So, this will be my last post regarding PF CHANG. I've finally gotten fed up enough to call time of death. Officially 9/16/2024, at 7:36pm. After being my go-to restaurant for years, I have to say enough is enough. As a vegetarian for most of my life, PF CHANG used to be a place for my carnivore husband and I to co-exist in peace without either feeling slighted or less than sated. First, they started by removing the vegetarian dumplings from the menu. If I'm being honest, that hurt more than anything because I could eat a few orders of that and feel great. Then I found the spicy eggplant, and I was spicy goodness heaven. I had almost unhealthy obsession with this dish. It was so good...until today...My birthday. My husband asked what I wanted to eat for dinner. It was a no-brainer. He tried to order online but couldn't find the spicy eggplant. He asked what category it was in. I must admit, I felt a slight twang of panic...but only slightly. Surely, they couldn't have done it again? I said, "Let's call". We'll just order it from them directly. The young lady picked up, and my husband was being sooooo polite when I just wanted to scream...what did you do with my eggplant!!!!???? I calmed myself while he asked...do you have the spicy eggplant? She very casually said "no, it was removed from the menu last month". Shock, anger, dismay (did i mention anger?)...all hit me at once. I asked...why are you removing everything vegetarian from your menu?? You actually don't want my business, do you? She says, we have nothing to do with it, it's corporate". I said, "Pass it up to corporate that I won't be back." No more family, birthday, anniversary dinners. Have they not gotten it that more people are going vegetarian and vegan? It's disrespectful this casual removal of the few things that we CAN eat. Great place by the mall. The parking was good, it was easy to find a close spot. the covid seating is a little weird because of social distancing and the place is small. But the food was great. I felt rushed, the hostess wanted to take our order, the waiter came by, some random girl came by, I didn't even have time to look at the menu with all these interruptions. So I gave the hostess my drink order and the young girl my appetizer order. But then my waiter went missing so I asked a random employee to find him. I have been to many PF Chang's and I have never had a bad experience. We were driving through Buford this past Monday and I decided to give this one a try. So so much disappointment. At $22 for Mongolian Beef i would have expected it to be off the chain as usual but not this location. It was maybe 2 spoonfuls of food with no sweet crunchies and the meat was so chewy, fatty, undercooked and no glaze whatsoever. This one PF Chang's has turned me from wanting to go back. The waiter was working at least 10 tables alone and half the bar. I'm a raving fan of Nina The Fabulous Bartender at PF Chang's Mall of Georgia! To beat the long lines my Babe got us seats at the bar and after I joined her there Nina welcomed us made us feel at home and kept the appetizers and drinks and convo flowing right though our meal and the check. The World belongs to beautiful women who are nice to people and Nina is one of the best. I even shazamed an Asian House playlist on Apple Music from the background music played at PF Chang's. Honestly, I hate to write a negative review during this time, as completely understand the time. But one thing that is incredibly rude that I can't look past is how rude some of the staff was. We were packing up to leave, putting stuff in our boxes, and they kept dimming the lights on us to get us to hurry out. The only reason I'm really pissed is because my dad has a degenerative eye disease where he can't see at night, and them dimming the lights literally messes with his vision and makes him not able to see. It was so rude and something they shouldn't have done because they saw we were leaving in the first place. You can choose to be rude to other guests, but remember you never know if they have invisible disabilities. It upset him so much. I have been to a different location and the food was well seasoned and fresh. However at this locations it was terrible. We set a reservation and the wait time was only 15 mins , we chose a outside seating and it was a great atmosphere and clean. Our waiter Madison was amazing and nice, she interacted with us as a customer and made the experience pleasant. The appetizer we order was the dynamite shrimp, it was cold and poorly seasoned, and may i suggest to stop putting a ridiculous amount of rice noodles on the food. We each ordered our entree and was charged separate for fried rice but only received one bowl of rice to share.
