The ladies at the front are very friendly and went out of their way to help me with my dog when she was sick. She had a accident while I was carrying her in, and very quickly and professionally they assisted me in cleaning up the mess. They did not have to do this but did it anyway. I am truly thankful for their kindness. Also the vets at Banfield pet hospital are accommodating and showed us extra attention. Check my reviews I've been to many places and never give out 5 stars! You're better off driving an extra 40 minutes to another Petsmart for grooming. We recently moved here and I really miss our old Petsmart grooming crew. These people are rude. They'll scold you for showing up 7 min early to your grooming appointment because there are no "early," drop offs. However, expect your pet to be there for 4 hours to get a bath...?! So, it doesn't really matter the drop-off time. Either way, rude employees here and I miss my old Petsmart. :( read more

Brandon is our dog whisperer! We have an 8 month old Great Dane I couldn't walk when we first started training because he was so strong and untrained. Now, 40 additional pounds later and he's so well behaved walks are pretty enjoyable. It's a great course and Brandon is passionate about the animals. read more

Way better staffed. I have been hesitant to take my dog to the groomers because of all the talk that has been going on. I explained myself to the ladies and they all had such a positive attitude they all got along well they said they gotten new staff members and enjoy what they do. This place was very welcoming and my dog was very excited to go and the groom came out amazing! I will come back to this place and I am very happy they got got brand new staff. I do recognize some of the staff but they were not the problem. The store manager is hilarious and I just felt so comfortable in this store. Please give them another chance they are rebuilding their salon and honestly I will have to say it is for the better! read more

Thank you, Patty! Late on Friday, I was in desperate need of an XXL crate for one of my dogs that had an unplanned major surgery the night before. After fumbling through petsmart.com to try to determine if my in store pick order would mean that the crate was in stock, I called the store. Patty was working the cash register and didn't have someone to check the stock for me, so she let me know that she was just going to check the customers in line out, then go check the stock herself. She checked on me once, while I was on hold, and let me know she hadn't forgot about me and was just checking out the last customer. Patty checked inventory, let me know the crate was in stock and that if I put the in store pick up order in now, she would have it shortly. She kindly pulled the crate from stock in advance, so it would be waiting for me upon my email confirmation that it was ready to pick up. All worked out great for me and my dog! read more

The stuff in this store is expensive! Also every time I have come in this store and needed help it seemed like there was no one working there. There were two ladies working at the register but they were checking out other costumers. There wasn't another employee in the store besides the groomers. I had to wait for the cashiers to finish checking out all of the other people before I could get any help And this has happened on multiple occasions. read more

Mixed review. I take my dogs and cats to this location for grooming. I have never had a problem with them and they are very kind and accommodating. I am always satisfied when I take my pets home. I commend them and thank them for their excellent service. However, this particular Petsmart is home to one of the rudest cashiers I have ever seen. I have had an encounter with her six times now. She gets even ruder each time I see her. She never wears a name tag - perhaps to avoid being reprimanded for her behavior - but I asked her for her name one time and it is Stephanie. She is usually at register #1 and she wears glasses. Stephanie never says hello, constantly sighs and/or texts on her phone while you are checking out, and drops the receipt on the ground for you to pick up. I have never heard her apologize. One time, I took a few seconds to retrieve exact change from my purse and I heard her tapping her foot and I heard her say "come on, hurry up!" beneath her breath. I confronted her about it but she denied it. I spoke to a manager three times now and he said he would speak to her, but her attitude never changed. A person with that type of attitude should not be employed -- and especially not in a customer service position. read more

My eight-month old adorable and sweet, although wild and crazy, Australian cow dog mix started puppy training with Mariah and she has worked wonders with him! She has also taught me so much about how i can help him at home to be a better behaved, calmer, and happier dog. Mariah is also extremely knowledgeable in all areas that pertain to DOGS, such as types of food, toys, bones, grooming, equipment, etc., that have been time tested. read more

I adopted a tiny little Chihuahua puppy and had to get all her supplies. I went straight from adopting this baby to PetSmart! I walked in thinking "what do I need?" Manager Alex could see that all over my face and was instantly in action and excited to help me. We walked through the store looking for every last thing my puppy needed, Alex was super knowledgable, clearly explained what I needed and what products were best for a 1-2 pound dog. Not only did he suggest and sell me what I needed he sold me a coupon book that saved $42. I used to work in retail management and this man Alex has what it takes to go far with the PetSmart company. I told him "man you are so smart and your people skills are perfect, you will go far with this company and most likely be a district manager very quickly" I worked in upper management with a very large company and I can instantly know who has the retail strength. Alex displays everything a company needs, he is I am sure an extreme asset to the PetSmart family/company. I can tell he has a respect for animal's and people of all types. PetSmart as a company I ask you to treat him well, recognize his abilities. Do not lose the rare ones who will grow your people and company even more. I feel in everything I do big or small that connections with others is a divine meeting. I could not have met a better person to help me in that moment. Thanks again Alex you are appreciated by myself and my family. I will be back and never will I give my dollars to larger retailers who know nothing about taking care of pet parents needs. This is the best! Great staff, great management, love this store! We have been coming into this Petsmart for many years after we spent years shopping at the Murrieta location where Brian managed before. We followed him to this location, and we are very glad we did! Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable and kind, and the grooming department is great too! We have adopted our Mr. Sammy the cat from there and we love and adore him and would not have him without the love and concern of Brian when we were ready to adopt. Our 18 year old Wire the cat had passed and we found Mr. Sammy but we had to deal with my health issues for a week, and Brian worked it out that we could do that and still have our Mr. Sammy once I was done, and the rest is our living our best life ever with our angel. Mr. Sammy travels with us everywhere, he has a stroller that he jumps into to walk with us every night, he is our life! Today I had an appointment and then I received a call once my dog was there, it would be awhile because they were busy. Worst experience ever from Cassie a groomer at Temecula Petsmart. Our dog is only 3lbs and very small. Got there 1 hour before appt. time to see if they could take us but they were unable to accommodate us so we waited there for our appt. time. When we checked in the groomer who was sceduled to do our dog (Cassie) was not there. Again we waited till she arrived. As she got there she ended up taking another dog prior to us regardless of our appointment. I was patient even though a nicer groomer mentioned to her that we have been waiting awhile. We came back 4 hours later since thats what we were told it would take. When we got there to pick up our dog his cut was not even started. The lady that Cassie checked in before us even got done first and we had to wait an additional half hour as she quickly chopped our dogs hair. When she was done we got a few excuses. Would of appreciated an appology and better customer service instead. Our other dog got way better service at Dirty Paws. I will never take my dog to Temecula Petsmart again. There are more dedicated and courteous groomers out there with better customer service skills. read more

They let us adopt two sick rats. They told us they hadn't noticed any health problems, but when we got them home they were clearly sick. Before we could get them to the vet they got our other rats sick. We are now facing a very expensive vet bill. read more

Although the staff in the grooming dept. tried to be helpful and friendly, they neglected to tell me one critical fact ---they do not groom senior cats. I proceed to buy a gift card so that my Dad could take his senior cat there to be groomed. When I called to make an appointment, I was told that they do not groom senior cats. I went to the store to try to get a refund on the gift card, since the staff failed to give me that important fact prior to me purchasing the gift card (they knew that I was going to purchase a gift card for this purpose). The "manager", Marylis was abrupt and just kept repeating that they do not give refunds on gift cards. I tried to explain this situation and she cut me off, turned her back to me and walked into the office where the door was slammed in my face. About five minutes later, she handed me the policy. No apology for the bad information I received from the grooming staff - just handed me a piece of paper with the policy. Completely unprofessional. I will spend the gift card on pet food, but I will never shop there again due Marlyis' rude treatment. read more
