I was nervous and didn't know what to do, so I reached out to Epic Dog Academy. They scheduled a same-day consultation, which immediately made me feel supported. Sookie started the Honor Roll Program the following week. Throughout her training, her trainer Erin kept me consistently updated on Sookie's progress. Toward the end of the two weeks, Erin recommended keeping Sookie a little longer because she needed some extra help -- and I truly appreciated that honesty and care. If Epic Dog Academy didn't genuinely care, they could have easily sent her home, especially with the holidays coming up, but instead they did what was best for Sookie. I picked Sookie up about a week ago and, to be honest, I was nervous about bringing her home. Erin scheduled our in-home training session just three days after pickup, and even checked in with us after Sookie's first day home to see how we were doing. While Sookie had a solid grasp of her commands, we struggled with crate training at first. During our in-home session, Erin helped us work through those issues, and since then, crating has been easy and stress-free. Epic Dog Academy -- and especially Erin -- did an amazing job with Sookie. They've given her confidence, and she no longer panics when I leave. The attentiveness, support, and care they've shown toward both Sookie and me has meant so much. We truly couldn't have done this without them. I'm so grateful for Epic Dog Academy and look forward to continuing our journey with them. I know Sookie will only continue to improve and live her best life.

Don't Believe the False Facebook Posts - Epic Dog Academy Is the Real Deal…read more I need to share my experience because there's a lot of misinformation going around about Epic Dog Academy. If you've seen those Facebook posts linking them to animal abuse - please, don't believe them. I fell for those rumors myself at first, and I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake. I had signed my dog, Obi-Wan, up for the two-week training program and was so excited. But right after I told a friend, she sent me a Facebook group filled with terrible claims about EDA. I panicked and immediately called to cancel. Vincent, the owner, was incredibly understanding and patient. He explained that all those claims were false and even showed me proof - including records exposing the people behind the posts as having serious legal and credibility issues, but even though I already paid and signed all the paperwork - he still immediately refunded me my payment to give me time to do additional research. This is something he could have pushed back on but didn't, which really showed me what a kind and understanding business this was. Even so, I made sure to do my own research before forming any opinions. What I found was truly alarming: the main individual behind that Facebook group has a documented history of serious issues, including animal cruelty charges (all public record). His daughter once briefly worked with Vince - the owner of Epic Dog Academy - many years ago at a completely separate business. Shortly after, Vince left to establish Epic Dog Academy with his wife, Olivia. To be clear, the two individuals who now run that Facebook group have no real connection to Epic Dog Academy. The false claims they're spreading about the owner are completely unfounded and unsupported by any evidence, plus most of the negative comments appear to come from people associated with them. Once I realized the truth, I re-enrolled Obi-Wan - this time in their day training program. I drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon. It gave me total peace of mind to see him daily, and I can confidently say that not only is he perfectly fine - he's thriving. The results have been beyond my expectations. Obi-Wan listens better than ever, he's happier, and he actually gets excited to go every morning. Erin, his trainer, is absolutely phenomenal. She's patient, knowledgeable, and keeps me updated every day with photos and progress reports through their app. Christy at the front desk is another gem - her warmth and understanding make every drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Every single person I've interacted with at Epic Dog Academy truly loves what they do, and it shows. They treat every dog like their own. I can say with complete confidence that my dog is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible training here. Please do yourself a favor - don't let false online rumors stop you from giving EDA a chance. Check things out for yourself. I'm so glad I did, because Epic Dog Academy has completely transformed my dog's behavior and confidence. It's been worth every single penny (and I signed up for the Honor program!) I have given EDA permission to share my number with anyone who is hesitant to sign up. I'd be happy to share my experience with you if needed. -- Pictures of Obi-Wan were sent to me through the EDA app during his day training!

He weighs about 90lbs and struggles with reactivity (excitement and pulling when he sees other dogs/people) and he did not consistently obey commands (especially "heel"). Elaine was patient, consistent, and very communicative. She took the time to ask us what issues we wanted to focus on, and then was able to come up with a highly effective training on the spot. She was able to get him to follow commands that even surprised us (including getting him to "place" onto a picnic table). And by the end of the session, we walked him around and had zero issues with pulling or reactivity, even when there were dogs and kids nearby. It was impressive to see so much progress in such a short time. Throughout the process, she explained everything she was doing, including the specific steps AND the purpose. She answered ALL of my questions with thoughtful and kind responses. And throughout the whole experience, she was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend her.

Before training, Forrest was a very playful and excitable pup who struggled with focus and discipline. He was easily distracted, didn't consistently follow commands, and had trouble behaving appropriately around children and other dogs. After spending two weeks with Elaine, our amazing trainer, Forrest came home a completely transformed dog! He's now obedient, focused, and confident -- even in high-distraction environments like parks and public places. He mastered six core commands and continues to respond beautifully to them at home. Elaine truly is a "dog whisperer." She's local (Murrieta), which made drop-off and pickup super convenient, and she went above and beyond to keep us updated. We received daily videos and photos showing Forrest's progress -- we looked forward to them every day and loved watching his transformation in real time. We are so impressed with Elaine's skill, patience, and dedication. Forrest is still the same silly, lovable dog we adore, but now he's also well-mannered, obedient, and an absolute joy to be around. Thank you, Elaine and Off Leash K9, for giving us the best version of our pup!

Our yorkie used to have a lot of anxiety, was timid around other dogs, barked at the doorbell, barked at people while on walks, pulled on the leash, and would sometimes nip at people's feet when anyone got close to me. Now, she is comfortable playing with other dogs and meeting new people. Overall she is much more peaceful, happy, and secure. We are able to go on walks without the leash and she doesn't get distracted by other dogs or people. When we have company over, we don't have to stress about her acting out! Cole's training has allowed us to enjoy our dog in a whole new way! Bryan was referred to us by a co worker that also had great results with their dog…read more Our dog was 1.5 years old, so still had some puppy in him, but he has anxiety that causes his mindset to be very difficult to train, so we called Bryan. We had an introductory meeting and felt very comfortable. He walked through his 3 week and 5 week board and train options and what to expect with each. We chose the 5 week program which trains him to basic commands on AND off leash. It was super difficult to hand over our dog for 5 weeks, but as difficult as it was, I can honestly say it was worth it. Simply put, it was life changing for us. Bryan provided weekly updates and videos so we could see how our dog was doing and help us get over missing him. Our dog still has his silly personality, but is now controllable on and off leash. Bryan was able to improve his mindset so not only does he obey commands, but has learned to relax. I cannot recommend Bryan more highly.

As the year went on, it was increasingly difficult to train him and he was just overpowering the kids. He didn't realize his own size and just wanted to play so much, but in playing, he would knock over the kids and it lead to most of his day needing to be spent in his crate. He had so much energy after getting out that he would pull constantly and just be his own dog. My spouse and I decided to look for help. We looked everywhere and vetted big business to small business. This was a very long process and somehow stumbled upon this page. I was very intrigued by a lot of the previous reviews. Almost too good to be true reviews. Eventually Contacted the owner (Bryan) and we had a good conversation. Started with questions about the dogs personality, what the goal and objective was, and how to get there. I don't want to go into too much detail because that conversation was so refreshing. I knew from that convo that Bryan was a true dog lover and trainer. Not someone just trying get the $$$$ After the conversation, we had a meet and greet and that went even better than the phone conversation. Bryan went into great detail the steps in what the board and train entails. My spouse and I were immediately invested. Both for the family and the happiness of our dog. We wanted happiness for everyone. We scheduled the time for the board and train (Took the 4 week option). We felt this was the best option for our family and our dog. It was an investment in our family and I wanted the best So now it's time to drop off Rufus. It was weird not having him in our home but knew it was for the best. Bryan again gave great detail into all the steps and what would happen during the 4 weeks. Each Friday for the 4 weeks we would get a private YouTube link on everything Rufus learned and his progress. Within the first week, he was a completely different dog. I've never seen him listen so much on the video. Those videos are all self explanatory so I wont get into those details either. Just know that they are very well detailed videos and you wont help but smile on your dogs progress Each week was upped to the next level of the defined training and it was a joy watching all the changes that have been made. As the weeks crept up to us getting Rufus back, we were excited with anticipation. On the day of pickup, we went through our own owner training with Bryan. Got very detailed with what we needed to do and how to continue the training for the rest of his life. It ended up being really fun. Rufus has now been home for a week and he his fully integrated to the home. He has a special place in our living room. The kids are happy they can play with him and pet him. Rufus is all smiles, droll and tail wags. This was indeed life changing for our family. Also Side note, Bryan made himself available for Boarding as well. We have been using the boarding services before and after the board and train. Experience was way better than any dog hotel I've used in the past for extended family trips. Bryan was the most genuine when it came to his business. You can tell he loves what he does. That's how I knew this was the place to go. I highly recommend. Also, even though board and train has been completed, he still checks on us after. He will be available for the life of the dog. Def cant go wrong with that
