Beginninger class with Marla- happy graduate!
Jossie M.

After exploring different options, we decided to try the beginner doggie classes for our then 5 month old lab. It was a six week class that gave me an opportunity to better understand ways to nip unwanted behaviors and practice some of the tips at the store. I would highly recommend Marla! She was able to offer timely feedback and she was very patient with our high energy dog Taro. By the end of class, Taro (my pup) was able to stay focused throughout the class, follow basic commands, and was even loose leash walking like a pro. Granted, we still need more practice with manners around other dogs and people, the six week growth is undeniable :) Something to consider for other pet parents- they even offer a free in person assessment of your dog to better guide you which class is a better fit. Our overall experience was very positive. Even the other associates were welcoming and made us more confident when bringing in our bundle of energy.

Someone saw Hanan today for a bath. She's the best. Definitely frenchie approved. I trust her to care for my girl. She did a great job on trimming her nails too.

This is AFTER the grooming. They didn't clip any of my dog's paw hair or nails at all, which is what I paid for

I've come here about 5 times in the past but I won't be coming back. First and foremost, my dog is an extremely gentle golden retriever and not hard to groom at all. She loves people, goes in public every day, and is not easily spooked. I have groomed her myself in the past but I have to pay for the service now after a neck injury made it too hard for me to bend over her like that. Last time I came, I dropped my dog off at her grooming and then didn't hear back from them for 4 hours when they'd told me they would call me. I went over there to see what was going on, and when I arrived, they told me they hadn't started my dog. So they finished up and THEN started my dog. What was the purpose of me making the appointment then? When I finally got my dog, she was absolutely terrified, her nails were not clipped at all, and I didn't receive the extra items I had paid for (there was a Halloween promotion that they upsold me on). I vowed not to go back. I hadn't been there for about a year, but I noticed my dog really needed her feet clipped, nails trimmed, and she had some tiny poop specks in her tail so I decided to take her in. I wrote this in the online portal, and I booked her a bath for $45 that included paw grooming (they no longer offered pawdicures). Dropped her off, explained again about the paws and poop in the tail by literally lifting my dog's tail to show them, and the (different than last time) person said 1.5-2 hours and that they would call me when my dog was ready. I never heard from them after 2 hours so I popped in and picked her up. I was not about to let my dog slip through the cracks like last time. I was charged $50 without explanation after having booked a $45 service. Paid it, tipped $15, got my dog, left. When I got home I looked at my dog and saw what's in these pictures. These pictures are from AFTER the grooming, and they let me pick her up like this. None of her paws had been groomed and she still has all of the poop specks in her tail. That was the entire purpose of me bringing her in. So really the endeavor was useless and a total waste of $65. I will never be back.

County tax city, tax tax, special tax, special state tax Get out of here with all of this ! thin they mark the items on special lol but you end up paying so much more bad business practices ! The price was supposed to be $10 With all the taxes it was four dollars more ! Total 14$

Chick with the blue hair being ride to another customer. Lack of professionalism etc...

Used to be a friendly place to bring my animals but lately they have some reason decided to start being rude and and threatening to call animal control on my animals. I should not feel threatened bringing my animals to a pet store. There has got to be something that is said. Chick with the blue hair was rude and threatened my dogs... they're supposed to be hospitable for animals!!!

My review of this place is simple. Staff here is very very nice and they never run out of our brand of dog food. My kids love coming to buy dog food just to peek at the lizards and snakes.

Don't Believe the False Facebook Posts - Epic Dog Academy Is the Real Deal…read more I need to share my experience because there's a lot of misinformation going around about Epic Dog Academy. If you've seen those Facebook posts linking them to animal abuse - please, don't believe them. I fell for those rumors myself at first, and I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake. I had signed my dog, Obi-Wan, up for the two-week training program and was so excited. But right after I told a friend, she sent me a Facebook group filled with terrible claims about EDA. I panicked and immediately called to cancel. Vincent, the owner, was incredibly understanding and patient. He explained that all those claims were false and even showed me proof - including records exposing the people behind the posts as having serious legal and credibility issues, but even though I already paid and signed all the paperwork - he still immediately refunded me my payment to give me time to do additional research. This is something he could have pushed back on but didn't, which really showed me what a kind and understanding business this was. Even so, I made sure to do my own research before forming any opinions. What I found was truly alarming: the main individual behind that Facebook group has a documented history of serious issues, including animal cruelty charges (all public record). His daughter once briefly worked with Vince - the owner of Epic Dog Academy - many years ago at a completely separate business. Shortly after, Vince left to establish Epic Dog Academy with his wife, Olivia. To be clear, the two individuals who now run that Facebook group have no real connection to Epic Dog Academy. The false claims they're spreading about the owner are completely unfounded and unsupported by any evidence, plus most of the negative comments appear to come from people associated with them. Once I realized the truth, I re-enrolled Obi-Wan - this time in their day training program. I drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon. It gave me total peace of mind to see him daily, and I can confidently say that not only is he perfectly fine - he's thriving. The results have been beyond my expectations. Obi-Wan listens better than ever, he's happier, and he actually gets excited to go every morning. Erin, his trainer, is absolutely phenomenal. She's patient, knowledgeable, and keeps me updated every day with photos and progress reports through their app. Christy at the front desk is another gem - her warmth and understanding make every drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Every single person I've interacted with at Epic Dog Academy truly loves what they do, and it shows. They treat every dog like their own. I can say with complete confidence that my dog is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible training here. Please do yourself a favor - don't let false online rumors stop you from giving EDA a chance. Check things out for yourself. I'm so glad I did, because Epic Dog Academy has completely transformed my dog's behavior and confidence. It's been worth every single penny (and I signed up for the Honor program!) I have given EDA permission to share my number with anyone who is hesitant to sign up. I'd be happy to share my experience with you if needed. -- Pictures of Obi-Wan were sent to me through the EDA app during his day training!

Before training, Forrest was a very playful and excitable pup who struggled with focus and discipline. He was easily distracted, didn't consistently follow commands, and had trouble behaving appropriately around children and other dogs. After spending two weeks with Elaine, our amazing trainer, Forrest came home a completely transformed dog! He's now obedient, focused, and confident -- even in high-distraction environments like parks and public places. He mastered six core commands and continues to respond beautifully to them at home. Elaine truly is a "dog whisperer." She's local (Murrieta), which made drop-off and pickup super convenient, and she went above and beyond to keep us updated. We received daily videos and photos showing Forrest's progress -- we looked forward to them every day and loved watching his transformation in real time. We are so impressed with Elaine's skill, patience, and dedication. Forrest is still the same silly, lovable dog we adore, but now he's also well-mannered, obedient, and an absolute joy to be around. Thank you, Elaine and Off Leash K9, for giving us the best version of our pup!

Taking her out in public was stressful, she would shake, bark and become very reactive out of fear, which in turn made us anxious too. From the very first call with Manny at Off Leash K9 Training, we knew he was the right fit. He genuinely cared about both our dog and us, and took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions, which gave us so much confidence moving forward. Throughout the training, Manny kept us updated daily with photos and videos, which was incredibly reassuring and exciting to see her progress. After 4 weeks, our Raven girl is truly transformed. She's so much more confident, calm, and equipped with amazing tools and commands that have made a huge difference in her behavior. We are beyond grateful for the care, dedication, and expertise Manny put into working with Raven. We can't thank him enough and are so excited to continue building on everything she's learned. Breaking my ankle recently escalated the problems. I could see the need for assistance in the near future. Began searching for obtaining a mobility service dog. Only a few agencies in Calif. train dogs for this disability and their wait list for starting the program was upwards of 4 years. I was planning to use my 2 yr old Black Lab. Since I had "hit dead-ends" in my search, I decided to at least look for some obedience training for the dog. After interviewing several trainers in my area, I found Erin to be my choice. I met with her to discuss the training and discovered that she had experience in training mobility service dogs! She was a bit hesitant to commit to the training and wanted to evaluate my dog to see if she had the right temperament...it seemed that she did! I signed up for the 3 week board and train program, with the understanding that basic obedience was would be addressed as well as introducing some service dog training to see how the dog performed. My dog seemed to be a good candidate for becoming a mobility service dog. We have continued with the training taking part in classes, private sessions, and another 2 week board and train session. Erin has helped me pick out equipment, met me in public places to train, and we have passed the CGC and PAT tests. Lots more training to do, but Dynamite Dogs has us on the right track! All the training is positive, and my dog loves coming to the facility and interacting with all the trainers! Thank You Erin and Paul!

Needless to say, this behavior does not bode well with my neighbors. I just moved here just a few weeks ago, and already began having problems with my dog, Faith. I met with Glenn Massie two times within ten days of the other. He had come to my place. He was very generous with his time and showed me how my lack of leadership was contributing to my dog's reactive behavior. He taught me that having my dog walking by my side vs in front of me or pulling on the leash, is where strengthening our bond begins. I no longer use a retractable leash. I only apply tension to the leash when I want to bring her back to my side. We avoid situations that might trigger her to become reactive. I have treats ready for her to distract her, offset any element of surprise for example getting on and off the elevator. While praising her, I have changed my cadence and intonation to be consistent with I am in control and I got this! This includes people passing by on skateboards, cyclists, children running about and having fun in the park. I am not going to change her or "correct" her behavior, but I am better able to manage it more responsibly. Thanks again Glenn!
