We love PetSmart and the many deals they have on our cat food. Customer service is always on point here.

Love this location! It's always stocked and clean. My two poms went here to get groomed for two years. We are sad to leave one of their favorite groomers Victoria. She's the best! If you are looking for a recommendation on which groomer to pick go with her. She is amazing!!! read more

Don't use their delivery service if you need it faster than a week. I tried using it because they only had inventory on the cat food I needed in two separate stores and didn't want to drive to each store. Ended up running out after four days and bought some at PETCO and drove anyways. They've lost my business. read more

Millie helped me get some aquatic snails the other day and I was very impressed with the care she handled them with. This was also in the midst of her helping 3 other customers and still remaining pleasant and calm. Bravo! read more

I bring my small Maltipoo doggy here to get groomed and always have exceptional service! Hannah is my dogs groomer and she does amazing every time paying attention to detail and taking really good care of him! She is great with Lucas, I have been to other groomers that have done a bad job and she corrected the mistakes! Highly recommend her services! read more

This review is for the pet hotel and not the store. I left my chihuahua there for ONE DAY and she came back with the flu. Now I'm dealing with a cough from my fur baby along with my anxiety it's the worst. If I would've known she would've gotten the flu from leaving her there for one day then I would've NEVER done so! I'm stuck with the guilt now of dealing with my sick baby for ever leaving her there. Even my family mentioned how dirty she came back. First and last time ever at this location. read more

I came to pay something and I tried getting cash back, but it didn't let me. I then tried to buy something small and get cash back but it didn't work again. I tried buying it again and Kathy was sighing out loud and in a very rude and aggressive tone asked for my phone number again. I was just confused and asked her if I was hitting a wrong button or something because the option was not showing up. Luckily another guy came and explained how the cash back works. I wasn't upset or anything that I couldn't get cash back because I was going to try another store, but just overall how Kathy acted and was very annoyed since the start was not okay. read more

Nice workers , but this store is always half empty with can cat food and dog health items.....always !

Clean store, and friendly workers but sad to see a majority of the Beta fish on display dead, and the goldfish tank also looked like a graveyard (at least 15 dead in the 1 tank alone) read more

Awesome experience! 100% recommend PetSmart Orange to board dogs. The staff really care about the pets they have staying with them. Very happy! Thank you! read more

I've purchased on line for pick up at this location in the past, but not this time... Placed order at 7:30am, screen shot order number & waited for an email confirmation that never arrived. Signed into my account & there was NO order. Checked my credit card & there, a pending $0 charge. PetSmart doesn't have a standard option to provide their customers with a notification of canceled orders? Ridiculous. read more

Never go here to get your pet groomed! I took my little guy here to get a fresh cut and I didn't notice at first but they cut his neck in two places!! One scab is small and the other is huge. They never mentioned it when my husband came to pick him up. Took him to his original groomers today and they told me that there would be no way that either of these cuts would go unnoticed by the groomers. They said that cuts that large would have taken forever to stop bleeding. I'm really sad I didn't notice it earlier since they're in hidden spots under his neck. If I had noticed earlier, would have definitely taken him in to get our money back. It's been over a month and one of the wounds still has not healed. Would've taken him to the vet had they notified us of the cuts. 1) the person who groomed my pet should never be able to cut any other pets hair again 2) she should be fired for not notifying us of cuts that serious Oh yea and his original groomers of 4 years said that he never flinches while being groomed. So no excuses on her part. I was desperate to get him in for a haircut. Next time I'll be sure to wait. read more

Today I took my beagle Pugsley to get her nails trimmed, and was really impressed with Natasha in the grooming salon. She took great care of pugsley and was very caring and professional. She even gave pugsley a bandana for her birthday today! The store was very clean and well presented. Staff was also very friendly. This was my first time at this location and I will be back for sure. read more

This is for the groomers section of PetSmart. Our groomer was Joshua and our first time experience was great! My dog Friday is a bit older, so she has a few warts on her body. She has been cut a few times from a different groomer (different location, different place) so of course I was not happy about that. So that's when I decided to try PetSmart groomers. I let Joshua know ahead of time where Fridays warts were located so he can be careful and we love the outcome. The staff there were friendly and check-in/check-out process was fast. I asked Joshua and Hannah questions and they were very knowledgeable. At first I was a bit scared because I wanted Fridays haircut to be short as possible for summer, so they had to use a blade. After picking her up, she was perfectly fine. Make sure to call in before to make an appointment. They say it can take up to 3-4 hours. After dropping her off I was just thinking about her the whole time because I was scared of her getting cut, but they called me after 3 hours. I was super happy after that. I will definitely be coming back here. read more

I recently adopted a puppy and the manager was so sweet and gave me a bunch of free toys for her and welcome kit. They always seem to have people on the floor assisting or offering assistance. They usually have a great clearance table and prices are like anywhere else. Awesome experience with the groomers! Not only did I have multiple reminders about my appointment, I had the wonderful spa leader, Hannah! First time in this location and most likely my last. Customer service is little to be desired here, it's a shame because this is the newest and closest location to my house but I rather go to the Brea location any day! I noticed when I walked in I wasn't greeted, yet when I was walking around the store I heard the same cashier at the front greeting everyone else who walked in. Rude much?! I knew exactly what I was looking for but couldn't find it, I went up to the front and asked her if they carried it in this store. She looked at me like I was speaking a different language and brushed me off super fast. I walked around the store one more time before returning the items and getting my money back (at this point, I didn't want to spend my money here either) I did my return and noticed her greeting more customers that came in. Perhaps young people don't know how to give proper customer service anymore in this day of age. I will continue going to the Brea location even if it's farther from me. Clearly someone over there has some act right! -__- read more

This location has improved so much. I read some of the reviews on the staff but every time I have gone in recently for a purchase they are always so friendly. We love taking our Frankie here for day camp. The staff is always so loving toward her and all the pups. Since going here she's opened up so much more. She now walks around the room and explores, this is a big step since she always keeps to herself. She's a little more sociable, too. We love to read the "pawgress" reports we get at the end of the day as well. Thank you PetSmart team in Orange for taking care or Frankie as if she were your own. My husband and I are going to continue bringing her here :) read more

Scheduled a grooming appt, was reminded of a grooming appt and I get there and they won't serve my dog because he's two days over the rabies shot. You should've told me (i.e., get your system together) or you should've worked with me. Since you wouldn't, I am never coming back. read more

We will never take our dog to PetSmart for grooming again. It took two weeks to get an appointment. What they didn't tell me is that they charge extra for week-end appointments. Wish we had known that was their policy. I did tell the groomer before I made the appointment and when I called to confirm on Sat. that the dog had some matting on his ears and legs. When I went to drop him off, the groomer told me they would charge $85 to groom him, ($26.00/ 43% higher than his previous grooming appointment). When I complained, she told me to take the dog home. Though the dog had matting, we had asked them to shave his legs, which is what we have done for previous appointments. There is nothing in terms of difficulty or extra effort that should have raised the price by almost half. I asked yo speak to the store manager, but we were informed that the manager was not in on Sun. I called the store and spoke to Matt, who identified himself as one of the managers. He also wouldn't help us. Suffice it to say, we won't even go back to PetSmart to purchase dogfood. read more

I've been here a couple of times. Located in the Village (AKA Mall of Orange) by Party City in Orange. My only complaint is the store is not staffed appropriately which makes it hard finding assistance regarding products. I walked up and down the aisles aimlessly without a real plan. I need to get Fiona some itchy spray and some soothing bath remedies. Every summer she is blessed with super itchy skin and little hot spots from biting and licking herself. Usually every summer we pay a visit to the Vet for a nice shot and some oral medication to help with her itching. Her vet bills have been sky high this year so I am trying to avoid any more visits. I am very anti flea treatment. I've done a lot of research and I do not like giving her a monthly dose of who knows what. I stick to the more natural approach. Besides if and its a big if, she has fleas, she only has a handful. I rarely if not ever see them. The spray I picked was from Burts Bees and it smelt so good. I've used that brand on myself. If I can use it on my body and I have trust in it, then I can trust to use it on her too. The all natural spray was about $11.00. Again, looking for products and no real help around. I summoned a cashier. Bless her heart for leaving her post to help me. She directed me to a couple of things I could use. Most of my help came from online reviews of products. There is not a huge selection of doggy products in the way of shampoos. Most of them are super expensive. Now that I think of it, it is no more expensive than the human products I use on my hair. I spend $20 plus on some products that promise amazing results, yet I stare at Pet Products and think, damm $20 for shampoo. Sorry Fiona. I will go back and buy you the $20 shampoo. I went with some miniature bottles for $2.99 each and some lavender perfume. I don't know if the shampoo made her cry or the bath made her cry or if she was just being a big baby. This store is huge. They have a doggy day care that I wish I could of gone into and sat on the floor and be licked by 20 different dogs. The dogs all looked happy. They all got along. Every now and then they opened the door in the back and let more dogs out. It was like who let the dogs out. There is grooming here. It looked busy. There is also a vet here. Plenty of food, toys, accessories, ect. Typical pet store. I do like this place. Fiona likes it too. Just wish they had more access to staff on the floor. read more

My family are long time Petsmart customers spending thousands on various items and grooming . Many purchases are online pick up in store , delivery as well as buying in store . Have a Pomeranian puppy who has been a challenge to find a harness and leash he can't escape from or chew out of . Couple days ago my son was at Orange Village and decided to return a couple of harnesses to this Orange PetSmart with 2 day old receipt . He was challenged about doing a return - even with a receipt - because person helping him could not locate phone number in system . Thru the years it is possible acct has different phone number but that should not prevent return with original receipt in hand and added covid risk trying to follow return policy in store . He calmly asked to speak with mgr when this person got difficult to deal with and told he is the manager . Then he demanded customer leave the store due to not finding phone number . Customer was not disrespectful or argumentative . So called the petsmart customer service number to report incident and told we would be contacted within 24 hrs . This has not happened and don't think phone number is a requirement to purchase items . Have spent thousands on pet supplies - grooming but now will go to a different Retailer Petco or similar to do my shopping . Please note unacceptable customer service and belligerent behavior towards a customer trying to return an item with a current receipt is an acceptable practice here at petsmart . Recommend mgr get training on customer service and legal return practices . Recommend staying away from this store . read more

My first time visiting this location, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern-ish exterior of the building. The interior, however, is just like any other Petsmart. This location has a Banfield, grooming, AND the pet hotel, which is super nice and convenient. The parking at this Petsmart is fairly plentiful. I've never had any issues with the parking here, the staff, the cleanliness, or anything like that. read more

This review is for the PetSmart Pet Hotel. I love this location! It's fairly new and very well kept. I take my puppy, Lola, here very often for doggy day camp. The staff always provide report cards which I love to read. I'm very thankful for the staff as I know Lola can be a difficult and fussy puppy to handle. They're always very nice about checking her in and out. I think at this point, they know who she is and remember her. read more

Made a reservation to take our dog in for the fourth of july was told by a young lady that they would call the vet to verify her vaccination records. Was told if there was a concern they would call me back and that if I did not receive a call back everything was ok. I did not get a call back so we took our dog in. it wasn't a close drive almost 45 min when we got there we were asked for her vaccination records, I told this young lady that I did not receive a phone call but she said she could not accept the dog without vaccination records. I understood, but no call back!? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! will not be dealing with them again read more

This is where I've been getting my dog food lately. It's a fairly large warehouse just like any other pet smart I assume. I would have like to see more selections as I know there is more for dogs that they can offer. I did like that the girls working there are super nice and always there to help. I think I will search for better prices elsewhere though. read more

This Petsmart is the worst. I ordered cat food online that required a prescription from my vet. They stated that if you don't already have a prescription they will contact your vet within three days. Fast forward a week later and no word from them. I called the store and no one knew why there was a delay. Later in the day I received a notification that my order was cancelled with no explanation. I was so excited that the food was in stock since there is a shortage of pet food everywhere. Thanks for wasting my time when I could have been looking elsewhere. read more

Best service especially by Thomas who was very gracious in accommodating our pet for emergency boarding.

Panda Bear is ALWAYS cared for well. He has fun socializing with other dogs and yes, with the PetSmart staff as well.
