I do wish I had done a review prior to this one so I could give it a fair chance, but it's basically just off of our final visit today. Basically, I'd give them 5 stars only for their (previously) affordable, high quality services, disregarding the impersonal vibe I feel from all the people who work here whenever I entered. Which I understood and brushed off every time. I knew we wouldn't be coming back due to them telling us up front how much this last bath & express service would be but had no hard feelings, dropped off our dog, still 5 stars. But this was only up until I came back and had my minimal interactions with a couple members of the team behind the desk. I came in, said hello here to pick up my dog, and I barely got a hello back, and the younger staff placed the card reader on the counter in a way that felt pretty aggressive, in my opinion. And as I mentioned, I'd usually brush all of this off, but today just felt extra awkward quite honestly. I wish the best for the groomers & owners. It sucks that the prices increased for us, but good for them overall if this is what will help maintain their high quality deliverables. Will definitely miss how my dog comes out of here clean & fluffy with a bandana on her for whatever season it is. To the staff that have worked directly with our dog (especially to the awesome tall white lady with the piercings), thank you so much for taking care of Toasty, ensuring that she felt safer and more comfortable enough to come back each time. She may be just another dog-client, but I'm sure she will miss seeing her groomers who are a piece of her entire world that she'll ever have.

They charged my dog for higher price despite the pricing chart on the website. Without much change to the weight, I informed them that in the past my dog was charged with the thin coat density. On the website, my dog's breed is one of the examples of the short and thin coat category, and that was why they charged me the prior lower price in my past visits. For some unknown reasons, they gave me different incoherent excuses that made me feel they were going to charge higher today no matter what. The owner did not even see my dog but insisted that my dog has medium to thick hairs that she will have to hand dry her coat. When I picked her up, her coat was not fully dried... Despite the unpleasant conversations, my dog came back very cute. I was told they are going to increase the pricing for all very soon.

I loved the fact that they were able to get her in the same weekend, so I committed to an appointment. What a great choice, she turned out heavenly! I made sure to save tons of pictures on Pinterest, because there is a certain look I like my Yorkie to have. I loved that the groomer asked specific questions of the smallest details of the haircut. I was a little nervous since we were going shorter, but they did an amazing job! My Belle looks adorable now, and also smells great with nice silky fur. The groomer informed me that they take notes down for each puppy's grooming style, so they have on record for next time. Absolutely love that! Cannot wait to take her in again. I understand accidents can happen, but better care, transparency, and communication should be standard--especially when working with elderly pets. I always specify NOT to trim her ear wisps because we're trying to grow them back after a hard medical year with my dog. When my boyfriend dropped my dog off, the receptionist was sitting on one of the couches scratching lottery tickets. Like I'm sorry, but whoever the groomer was today butchered my dog. Juno is dog-reactive, which can sometimes come across as aggression, but anyone familiar with reactivity understands it's really about overstimulation, limited socialization, and the need for patient, one-on-one care. Because of this, I haven't been able to take her to a traditional groomer. I happened to see their mobile truck while on a walk and asked about pricing for my reactive shepherd. Ricardo was very understanding, gave me a reasonable quote, and was even able to fit us in right after his first appointment. From the start, he was calm, patient, and gentle. He let me stay nearby to help Juno feel more comfortable, which I really appreciated. She was timid at first, but he took his time earning her trust and worked at her pace. When it came to the dryer, he introduced it carefully and explained that he didn't want to push her too far or undo the trust he had built even if that meant she wouldn't be fully dry. That meant a lot to me. It's clear that Ricardo has experience with dogs like Juno and truly understands the patience and care they need. Both Ricardo and Paco were communicative, kind, and made sure Juno's first mobile grooming experience was as stress-free as possible.
