I found Pet Stop grooming thru Yelp and read all the great reviews. i booked an appointment and brought him in. Since this was a new groomer, I was a little worried about my fur baby, but as soon as we walked in and were greeted, my guy went right in without any issues. I explained that he did not like the hair dryer and was told that would not a problem, but it may take about 3 hours sicne they can not use the dryer. About 3 hours later, I got the call that he was ready. My baby was cleaned and he was super happy. He even got a nice treat. I will definitely be going back to Pet Stop Grooming.

He never was like that before, but every time I mention that he's about to go to the groomers, he gets super hyped and when we drop him off, he literally gets out the car and runs right in. I usually don't pick him up, but the past times that I have, I noticed he was left to hang in the play pen rather than being locked up in a cage. Prices are good and it's pretty easy to make appointments here.

Anyone familiar with the Akita breed knows they can be strong-willed and have very distinct personalities. Our boy definitely lets you know when he's unhappy about something. While he has never bitten anyone, he is very vocal and communicative when he doesn't like being handled. Despite his temperament, the team at Lucky Paws has always treated him with patience, professionalism, and care. They understand his personality, work with him calmly, and consistently do a great job grooming him. It's not easy finding people you trust with a large breed dog, especially one with a mind of his own, but we've never had concerns leaving him in their care. After nearly 7 years, we're grateful for the kindness and dedication they've shown our dog. We highly recommend Lucky Paws to anyone looking for experienced groomers who truly care about the animals they work with.

I found Holly, and it was a perfect match. First order of business was earning my girl's trust, letting her explore off leash, and getting comfortable. Not too long after that, my girl would get SO excited just to hear we were going to see Holly. She'd eagerly scratch at the door if they didn't get there to open it quickly enough for her. She'd even give Holly kisses in the face (my girl doesn't even give ME kisses on the face)! Every groom was gorgeous, and my Scottie always got compliments wherever she we went. We even went to a groomer out if state to have her nails trimmed while on vacation over the holidays. The owner of the shop was so impressed with the cut and wanted to know where I had taken her. My girl and I are so sad that Holly has closed her doors. Not only will we miss the excellent work, but we will also miss her and Mik on a personal level. It's hard for Scottie parents to find good groomers who know how to do a breed-standard Scottie groom, but to also love, respect, and adore the dogs they groom. The next groomer we find will have big shoes to fill.

My little goldendoodle, Teddy, is such a special part of our family, and knowing he's in caring, loving hands means the world to me. Wylie's kindness, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals are what make Unicorn Pet Grooming so special. It's so much more than just a grooming appointment -- it's the peace of mind that comes from knowing your baby is being treated like family. I'm incredibly grateful for Wylie and the love and care that goes into making Teddy look and feel his very best. If you're looking for a groomer who truly cares, look no further. However, Wylie and the entire team are masters of making pups look cute, smell great, and most importantly feel as comfortable as possible. We tried out a few other groomers in the area...my pup was visibly shaken for hours after leaving one of them, and while he seemed ok after his visits with the others, there are often so many employees so your pup might see a different face each time which probably isn't the greatest for anxious doggos. It's always the same friendly faces at Unicorn so though my boy may never love going to the groomer, there is familiarity and calm kindness at Unicorn that I believe eases his anxiety. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that Unicorn is the only place for him. He bounds out of his appointments with a wagging tail and a happy face, no doubt happy to be done but also it's just clear that the entire team treated him well, even with his fear and moodiness. The most important factor for me in finding a groomer is being able to trust that they will treat my little guy well. I'm so lucky to have found a place where I can drop him off and feel 100% confident that he will be treated with care. It's just a plus that the appointment process is easy, the intake and pickup processes are seamless, the pricing is extremely reasonable, and they are experts at their craft who do an amazing job at making him really, really ridiculously good looking. Thank you Wylie, Jing, Ryan & Mia!
