I brought my dog in over Easter weekend, and because I was injured, I wasn't able to fully brush her out beforehand like I usually do. She's a Pomeranian with thick fur, and while she did have some matting in typical areas, it was not severe. I've worked in a veterinary setting, so I'm familiar with what's manageable. When my husband dropped her off, he was told they wouldn't be able to achieve the usual teddy bear cut and suggested shaving her down instead. What wasn't communicated clearly was just how short that would be. When I picked her up, she was shaved extremely close, far beyond what I expected, and it was honestly shocking. She looked nothing like herself. This isn't the first issue. On a previous visit, she was cut so short that she developed irritation and a rash, and her tail was left uneven to the point that I had to trim it myself after it got soiled immediately. I've also since heard from friends and family (that I referred) who've had similar experiences, especially during busy weekends or holidays. It seems like overbooking may lead to rushed grooms and defaulting to shaving dogs down rather than working through coats more carefully. I also want to note that vaccination status was never asked about, which initially made this place convenient for me at the time, but in hindsight, that's not something I'm comfortable with. I've communicated before that I don't want my dog shaved down this short, and I just don't feel that preference has been respected or clearly discussed. Between the inconsistent results, lack of communication, and overall experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere moving forward

Because of this, I haven't been able to take her to a traditional groomer. I happened to see their mobile truck while on a walk and asked about pricing for my reactive shepherd. Ricardo was very understanding, gave me a reasonable quote, and was even able to fit us in right after his first appointment. From the start, he was calm, patient, and gentle. He let me stay nearby to help Juno feel more comfortable, which I really appreciated. She was timid at first, but he took his time earning her trust and worked at her pace. When it came to the dryer, he introduced it carefully and explained that he didn't want to push her too far or undo the trust he had built even if that meant she wouldn't be fully dry. That meant a lot to me. It's clear that Ricardo has experience with dogs like Juno and truly understands the patience and care they need. Both Ricardo and Paco were communicative, kind, and made sure Juno's first mobile grooming experience was as stress-free as possible. I was told it would be $10-$15. When I arrived, the place looked clean and I even checked the price list posted in the waiting area, which also clearly said $10-$15 for nail trimming. However, after the service was done, I was charged $25. When I questioned it and explained that I had called ahead and specifically mentioned that my dog is large, the response I got was that they "didn't know he was that big." My dog is a large doodle -- not some unusually massive or rare breed -- and I had already made that clear over the phone. It's extremely frustrating to confirm pricing beforehand, see the same price advertised in the shop, and then be charged significantly more afterward with no real explanation. If the price depends on size, that should be clearly communicated upfront, especially when a customer takes the time to ask beforehand. This felt misleading and unprofessional. I left feeling like the pricing was not transparent and that my concerns were dismissed when I brought them up. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

I showed her a photo of the haircut style I wanted and specifically asked if she could trim around my dog's eyes without cutting her long eyelashes. I was a little nervous to ask because my dog hates baths and constantly wiggles whenever her face is touched. Jessica took note of my concerns, and reassured me with her calm and professional approach. She explained that full grooming usually takes 3-4 hours so the dogs can stay relaxed instead of feeling rushed or scared. Since I groom my dogs at home sometimes, I understood exactly what she meant and felt confident my dog was in good hands. After two and a half hours, I got the call that my dog was ready for pickup. She smelled so fresh and looked absolutely adorable with her summer haircut, exactly how I had hoped. Her long eyelashes were still beautiful, and the cute pink bow around her neck made her look even sweeter. I'm so glad we found Pet Stop Grooming. Jessica is clearly experienced, caring, and very reasonably priced. The results truly speak for themselves.

Shout out to Billy( owner) for always being soo flexible/accommadating with grooming appointments. And Joey , our groomer, excellent job ALWAYS, hands down the best groomer around . I've seen many tik tok videos with other well known groomers doing goldendoodles with tight curls like a poodle and JOEY , you have them beat !! We showed her a picture of what cut we wanted and she did it amazingly and continues to do it every visit. We've been coming to this spot for close to two years and we're willing to make the drive from Fullerton .We get stopped in the streets asking where we take him and even if it's been a few weeks since last trim , he still looks freshly done . don't wait any longer , make an appointment!!

We absolutely love our dog groomer! He takes amazing care of all three of our dogs. He does an incredible job getting their undercoats out so they shed much less at home. Our dogs always come back looking and smelling great, and it's clear he truly cares about them. They get excited to see him, which says everything! On top of that, he's just an all-around wonderful person. Just this morning during the storm, the wind blew our back fence open and our dogs got out while we were away at work. We live directly across the street from the groomer, and he happened to see them from his front window. He immediately hurried across the street and helped get them safely back into our yard. I don't even want to think about what could have happened if he hadn't been there. If you're looking for a trustworthy, experienced dog groomer who truly cares about the dogs he works with, I cannot recommend him enough. We are so grateful for him and the care he gives our dogs.
