First time here and I would say I was a little hesitant to take my dog. It was a little chaotic when first coming in since I went right when they opened. They didn't really ask the name of my dog, or asked what I came in for. They just asked to take my dog in the back and then asked what I was here for. the staff were friendly but each staff had different definitions when it came to full grooming, the person who was the actual groomer clarified so that helped. I did warn her my dog had skin tags all over the body and to be very careful when you do the cut. I also mentioned he is a very nervous boy so to mindful of that. They finished in two hours as promised. I came to pick him up and they told me they nicked one of the skin tags on his arm but took care of it right away, grateful for the honesty. It was interesting, the staff was speaking to me as if I was a returning customer and told me my dog did better this time around. I think they got me confused with a different customer as I never been there before. A few hours later I noticed on the top of my dogs back, where there is quite a few skin tags, a few spots were bleeding! I know it's hard to cut around the skin tags but almost every big bump he has was bleeding so it was a little frustrating to take care of it. I don't think I'll be coming back but I appreciated the service. read more

C U Grooming did a great job on my Pomeranian's cut!! I asked for a super short haircut for the summer, and something easy to maintain. My Pomeranian runs super-hot. She's always panting. I figured the short haircut would help her keep cool during summer. They did the full grooming package, bath and haircut. The haircut came out so cute! It's exactly what I asked for. My puppy smelt so good afterwards! I'm very happy with the service. The inside of this grooming salon is too cute also! I love how it's painted and setup as a play area. Pricing is reasonable for pet grooming. They did the bath and haircut in about an hour. We dropped her off, did some errands and came back to pick her up. It was perfect and worked out nicely. Service was still good. For my latest visit, I told them exactly where it needs to be and they did a phenomenal job! Everyone was super friendly. And they're always good to take us as walk-ins for nail trimming. For some reason, when I try trimming my dog's nails, he's squirm and won't let me. I brought my dog Oreo in for grooming and had such a great experience! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and they were able to take Oreo in right away without any hassle. They did a full cut, nail trim, and sanitary trim -- and had everything done in about an hour, which was so convenient. Oreo came out looking (and smelling) amazing and was clearly comfortable the whole time. I also noticed that the shop has new owners, and it seems like they're running things really well. I've brought my dog here a few times and with appointments... she will be there for over 4 hours... just sitting in a cage waiting to be attended. If they're running behind they should let pet owners know so we don't leave our dogs to sit in a cage for hours. I've asked Connie to give my dog cute haircuts like a teddy cut and she refuses and says a summer cut is better... summer cuts have no effort, it just shaves all their hair off and it's not cute.. my dog doesn't even get a bow or a bandana or any perfume smell. I get charged $85 for my 10 lb dog for the bare minimum. Connie also demanded I tip her on top of me waiting 4 hours for my dog that had an appointment. If my dog was waiting for hours in a cage, came out with no cute bow or bandana or a slight perfume scent why would I tip? It costs so much already to get such a small dog groomed. I've seen little nicks of cuts on my dog but I know how these places are and they won't even discount or apologize. They just blame the dog... I will not be coming back here again, my dog is not treated with love , she's treated as another dog to make money off of. I found a new groomer that treated my dog with more love and care and gave her a cute haircut without me asking, gave her a bandana with a nice perfume smell. He didn't even try making more money off me by saying she needs this and that and did not demand me tip. He gave me my time alone to pay and walked away instead of staring at the tip screening pointing "TIP TIP" like Connie. I know people work hard and deserve tips but only when it's deserved. I had told Connie I couldn't tip and she turned the screen to me and said "TIP TIP" and she basically made me feel forced to tip.. I'm sorry but the tip was not deserved an I left it anyways bc of how pressured she made me feel and staring at me And the screen as I selected how much to tip... Whenever I'd take my dog for a full grooming service she'd examine my dog and say she's gonna charge me more for X Y and Z which doesn't make sense bc I'm paying a full service but she just finds ways to make more money off of you. I've had enough of it. My dog should not have to wait hours in a cage to be seen when she has an appointment and she arrived at the expected time. I should not be expected to pay more for things that should be included in a full grooming service. I should not be expected to tip. Okay I have a 13 old wheaten and a 6 month old puppy (doodle). I have been taking my wheaten to the same groomer for 8 years (whom I adore) when I brought in my puppy. The lead groomer said he could not groom puppies so my pup was pass onto an associate. I don't know what happened but she came back looking like a raccoon. Fast forward 6 weeks and the puppy desperately needed a haircut before her spay. I yelped a few places but stumbled in on CU Grooming. I was very hesitant bec it was a bit more disorganized VS my last place in Yorba Linda but the groomers were really friendly and even better, I adore my puppy's hair cut! And it was cheaper! If I can give negative stars I would. First of all, this was my first time grooming my dog at all so I had a fault on my own to expect a lot. Here it goes: I searched on yelp and they had good reviews so I was really complacent. When I went there, I spoke with another dude (not the owner) about my dog. He said the owner will charge more if he combs her so he would just shave her and leave a little bit of fur. I showed picture and all just to show what I want. Even before I left I was reminding them of what I want for my dog. Take note: she's a goldendoodle (so I know her fur is challenging to deal with) Fast forward to 2+ hours cause they said my dog kept on pooping so they had to rewash her. Then, the owner called me. All I can recall was her saying my dog looked ugly after the cut and then sent pictures. The moment I saw what she looked like and how she said my dog was ugly, I instantly cried. My dog is like my child so I am more sensitive when it comes to her. Anyway, we went over there and I saw she wasn't looking like how I expected it to be. The owner kept on insisting it was a summer cut, but she looked like a lollipop! Anywho, my dog got super traumatized. She was whining and crying when I went there and even after she left. This place is a total scam. The grooming staff doesn't speak English and cut my pet however they wanted. Told me to do a bank dispute for refunds because "the owner was on a vacation and wouldn't be back in a while". I did and later on they told the bank that we received the service. We were in search of a grooming place in Anaheim and came across this place. When we called we asked what the pricing was based on the size of our dog. The lady said she didn't know but she would tell us when she saw her and that we shouldn't worry she'd give us a good price. When we arrived, the lady was not friendly to our dog nor did she care to ask us any questions about her, vaccines, medications... NOTHING. She took our dogs leash from us but she still hadn't even given us a price. She just assumed we were leaving her right way. Again, we didn't sign anything before leaving like we usually do at any other place. Upon picking her up, the lady could not find our dog! She was panicking not knowing where our dog was, until the guy in the back said she was back there and she blamed our dog for being so quiet. When we got home, we checked our dog and noticed she had red marks throughout her stomach and her ears. One of her eyes was turning red, bloodshot red, she's sensitive to the touch on her back. Just brushing her hair makes her cry. She's not herself at all. She's clearly in pain! I should have trusted my gut feeling as soon as we left. Avoid this place!!!! I have brought my dog here on multiple occasions, and although I've given them multiple chances, mainly because it's conveniently located at walking distance from home, I have never had a good experience, but the last appointment was the last straw, I've had it! Do not leave your pets here, honestly save your money go somewhere professional, because they are not! Ive had issues from the start where they left her ears long without cutting them, (they asked about how i wanted her cut and i said a trim and to leave about an inch in length, but they didn't ask me about the ears, although i thought that was self implied when i said trim + 1 in. In length, although, other groomers ask beforehand, so i let it go that time bc i blamed myself for assuming it was understood of what i wanted, so i gave them the benefit of the doubt but again, professional groomers will always ask along with all the other regular questions on the services you want done!) On the following appointment, which by the way I mainly gave them a second chance because i got a text with a coupon for $10 off for returning clients. Although in the end, upon check out when i mentioned the coupon being $10 off, she said she had already included the discount, but the total ended up being more than what she had initially said and it ended out to be only a $5 discount. So just a heads up, be sure you pay attention at the prices they give you and make sure they really give you those discounts because unfortunately they are not honest about it. Anyways, on this appointment I made sure to mention the ears, i told them i wanted them short, but the result ended up being such an exaggeration! I have never in all her 7 years of life seen her ears cut to such an almost non existent length! She looked as though she had no ears! I didn't even know that was possible! She looked horrendous! I've attached pictures as well. Also, when they called me about my dog being ready to pick up, they got it wrong, it was not my dog, yes it was a similar dog, just slightly bigger, obviously I know my dog, that was NOT my dog! Even though I had already told them no like 3 times, they kept insisting that was my dog. After the scare of not seeing my dog and thinking someone else had her, I was able to spot my dog being blow dried on a table in the back through a window they have behind the counter and pointed her out and said her name, she then said oh sorry. So I ended up leaving because she wasn't ready, but thats not a big deal, again i live close by, but what was not ok was what if this happened to someone else and they mistook her for their dog and took her?! I have a common type of dog, the fluffy white kind, we all know how similar these are, and to think what if that person didn't notice the slight difference, bc that's what it comes down to, a slight difference! And finally, I took her to this groomer one last time where the result of this appointment finally did it for me, I had it... So I was in a pinch and needed her groomed asap and they had a same day appointment available, everywhere else i called were a week or more out in appointments, so with no other choice I took the appointment as a last resort, and how i regret it, because this was the worst of the grooming she has ever received from any business! Again shes 7 and has had other grooming done elsewhere with multiple businesses before and never has any one business came to such a displeasing situation. I pick up my dog when they were done with her and when i get in the car my husband notices little red dots on my sweater and were both confused at what it was, and then we saw it, her paw, dripping in blood, no exaggeration, DRIPPING! So not having left the parking lot yet, i bring her back inside and tell the two groomers the situation and they take her so that they can apply an anti bacterial powder to help stop the bleeding and what was their response? They blamed the kennel where she was kept while she waited for me, they said that she must've done that to her nail from scratching at the kennel door, excuse me? For one she was kennel trained and never bled from it, two, all the other grooming businesses also kept her in a kennel before and after grooming, never in 7 years did this happen, so no! Bullshit! Never did they offer a discount, which is what i wanted bc the service provided was not worth what I paid! Not only did they over cut her nail but her trim was extremely choppy! Stay away at all costs. I haven't been able to leave a real time review bc of the hold that Yelp had but I took my chiweenie early December and he came home with injuries. All I asked for was a bath ($60) and I am devastated to think of what could have happened for him to come home lethargic, not wanting to eat, drink and in pain. I had to take him to the vet and $800 later, determined that he was probably dropped, pulled, or bruised in some sort of way causing injuries to his hind quarters. read more

I was imagining my dog "Sushi" with a wagging tail and a bandana around his neck when he came out. Instead, I left with heartbreak, trauma, and a million unanswered questions. We rushed Sushi to the CASE Animal Hospital. They did everything that they could to save him but the doctor came to me saying our dog passed away on his arrival. YES, the person that clipped Sushi's nails left him there on the table over 30 minutes without doing anything! This wasn't an accident that was handled with care - it was gross negligence, cruel disregard, and complete failure of basic decency. How does a dog die under your supervision and you don't contact the owner immediately? How does a professional grooming facility have no protocol for a medical emergency? Sushi was part of my family, he's been with us since he was 8 weeks old, instead of giving him a good service on his birthday, you guys have taken his life away. This is very unacceptable! We asked for the camera and the person there said the camera has no memory. How does this make sense? Pet owners: DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS WITH YOUR ANIMAL'S LIFE. If you value compassion, responsibility, or even the most basic communication in an emergency, take your dog anywhere else. The only one thing you need to improve is SHUT YOUR BUSINESS DOWN. Omg!! I made an appointment for my cat (Tuxedo, a year old) for nail cutting because he has never experienced nail cutting at home, so we couldn't control him. When I dropped him off, a Korean lady picked the carrier back to the room without asking his name to be friend with him. Then she asked me to come back after 20mins. I came back then she started complaining that my cat went crazy and scratched her. That's the reason why I took him there because I don't have safety protection at home and I expect the professional grooming should have protocols to deal with it. If you couldn't handle him, please let me know, I would take him home. She charged me $20 even Yelp said $15 nail cutting, I still gave her tip as a my politeness. My cat were traumatized, sign of hard breathing, I thought he got heat stroke but NO. When we were home, I noticed he had blood at his mouth, dried blood at his paw, stinky smell on his fur and he was scared when I touched him. I haven't checked any other injures yet but I will when he becomes calm. Pet is not animal, he is my friend, my family. I understand that not all the pets are easy to take care of. So if you think you can't handle him, please refuse to service and contact the pet owner right away. Please don't accept them then hurt them like that, it hurts the pet owner also. Terrible place and I will never come back again. My cat is traumatized by the groomers from this place. I called in over the weekend early in the morning to see if I could do a walk in and a male, someone mentioned owner, picked up the phone and said no worries at all it was not a busy day! So i bring my cat and the place is packed with other animals. I think to myself it is ok because I have been here before but when I came back to, my cat looked afraid and he was bleeding from his paws. I was told that there was a new groomer and he was trying a cleaning technique that wasn't meant for cats so they were not able to deshed my cat properly. The entire back and behind the rear legs the fur is completely matted and ruined. I felt so rushed and it seems like they only cared about taking care of other pets than mine.
