I brought my dog in over Easter weekend, and because I was injured, I wasn't able to fully brush her out beforehand like I usually do. She's a Pomeranian with thick fur, and while she did have some matting in typical areas, it was not severe. I've worked in a veterinary setting, so I'm familiar with what's manageable. When my husband dropped her off, he was told they wouldn't be able to achieve the usual teddy bear cut and suggested shaving her down instead. What wasn't communicated clearly was just how short that would be. When I picked her up, she was shaved extremely close, far beyond what I expected, and it was honestly shocking. She looked nothing like herself. This isn't the first issue. On a previous visit, she was cut so short that she developed irritation and a rash, and her tail was left uneven to the point that I had to trim it myself after it got soiled immediately. I've also since heard from friends and family (that I referred) who've had similar experiences, especially during busy weekends or holidays. It seems like overbooking may lead to rushed grooms and defaulting to shaving dogs down rather than working through coats more carefully. I also want to note that vaccination status was never asked about, which initially made this place convenient for me at the time, but in hindsight, that's not something I'm comfortable with. I've communicated before that I don't want my dog shaved down this short, and I just don't feel that preference has been respected or clearly discussed. Between the inconsistent results, lack of communication, and overall experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere moving forward

The grooming salon windows are covered with bright decorated signage with their contact information. Appointments are easy and I simply sent a text to get a next day appointment for my Shih Tzu. During the very first grooming appointment, I let the sweet groomers know that my baby had severe allergies and sensitive skin and would need a close cut for medication application. They let me know that they would proceed with trimming the belly fur with scissors instead of a shave, which can irritate the skin more. I knew then and there that they are beyond knowledgeable and transparent. Nami got the cutest cut and was not stressed or anxious like she usually gets with our old groomers in the Cerritos area. I didn't even know he had fleas and honestly asked if it was still okay to leave him with them, and they were very reassuring and professional about it. What stood out most was how kind, patient, and communicative they were. They kept me informed, answered my questions, and gave helpful guidance on flea prevention afterward. Dante came out looking great, and I felt like he was in good hands the whole time. Definitely grateful for their care and would absolutely bring him back.

I took my dog in for his full grooming appointment. At my arrival I was greeted with a "I would have wanted him brought in earlier", sorry but it was the time I was offered KNOWING I have a doodle. The guy asked me what I wanted done, I explained "a small trim almost nothing since it wasn't long, and a face clean up". I got a call later that afternoon to pick up. When I arrived I was SHOCKED to see they had completely shaved my dog and his face was practically the same as when I dropped him off. They left dry poop on his butt, his ears were all tangled as if they attempted to brush but couldn't finish the job, his tail wasn't trimmed or brushed, and they claimed that he had 4 fleas! Mind you, I never got a phone call to explain the need for a shave, no phone call about the "fleas" found and no heads up on the price change. NOTHING, until I was surprised with how he looked, the charge for the service provided was a joke. Upon getting home I checked his skin for signs of fleas, I didn't trust their word since he's been on monthly flea medication since he was 4 months old (now 13months) and i discovered no signs of fleas or redness on his skin. Grooming days are exciting because I know my boy will come back to me looking so cute and smelling so good--every time! I always schedule with Sherri, and she is the sweetest. My westie boy has a specific cut for his breed, and Ms. Sherri always does such a great job. Appointments are easy to get, and prices are fair, in my opinion. Grooming is so important for dogs to feel comfortable, and I wanted this to be as stress free as it could be for them. From the moment Allie met my dogs, I knew we were in the best hands. She was warm, kind, calm, and immediately connected with them in a way that only a true animal lover would. They were totally comfortable with her right away. She communicated with me at points during the process, letting me know how well they were doing, which meant everything to me. I knew she would make them look good, but I honestly did not expect HOW GOOD! They looked better than I could have ever imagined. I don't think they have looked this good since they were much younger. They actually looked like little show dogs. Even more importantly, they looked completely at ease... not stressed at all. Just clean, happy, comfortable dogs who had the experience I was hoping for!! Allie works quickly and thoughtfully. Each dog took about an hour and fifteen minutes, and there are no cages, no waiting.. no stress. I love knowing exactly who is with my dogs the entire time and knowing that person truly loves animals.
