My little Hazel has been staying at Paws at Play a couple days a week for the last few months. The staff and owners are so kind to her. She is a shy girl-- but she runs in, feels v much at home. Had a great experience! We ran into a little hiccup when we arrived but the staff were so nice about it and were able to accommodate us. We are so lucky to have found this doggy day care/boarding. Melissa, Jonathan, and all the other lovely people at Paws at Play treat my little boy as one of their own. My dog Obi loves coming here. He initially had some separation anxiety when we first started. Thankfully, the folks here ensured each time he came that he was comfortable and would update me every time I came to pick him up on his progress and behavior. Obi now knows when we're pulling up because his little tail nub starts wagging. I really appreciate how they have a half day option for day care as it makes it very convenient when we expect work being done at our place. Even with half days, Obi comes back home tired, full of love, and satisfied. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better place to care for Obi when I'm away or need a little extra help during the day. Still loving our experience here. We used them for boarding 3-4 times last year and every time it was perfect. Our pup had an amazing time (puppy camp!) and we didn't have to worry one bit. We've been taking our little one here since we first got her in October 2024. As a first time dog owner, there was a lot of anxiety as my job also suddenly picked up in the year making me feel guilty admitting that I need help with watching our new edition to the house. Enter Paws at Play. After hearing Jonathan and Melissa's story of why they started the daycare, I couldn't help but book a temperament eval for our nervous pup. Since them I am so glad I did. Seeing videos of our pup alongside several happy other ones playing in the well protected and covered turf brings me reassurance when I cannot be there. I've used Paws at Play a number of time for day care and boarding. I really appreciate that they are selective about the temperament of the dogs they allow into the facility. It definitely makes a big difference as I've taken my dog to other facilities that were not as selective, which leads to a chaotic setting. I don't mind paying a little extra to have that peace of mind. Most importantly, my dog gets super excited when we walk up to the door which says a lot about how the facility is managed. read more

I used to take my Shihpoo girl to board at Petsmart in my city because it's convenient but not any more, now I only trust this place. They are careful about what dogs are accepted by pre screening potential dogs. They provide daily updates and videos. The outside grassy play area is fully shaded and secure. Dogs get plenty of outside playtime. Each dog is housed in climate controlled individual suites with a comfy cot with bedding. They have a kitchen that prepares their meals brought from home. Next, I was able to set up an online account through their easy-to-navigate website to make my reservation for both a temperament evaluation and a full day of daycare for the date I needed. On the day of Luna's temperament evaluation, Luna and I were greeted warmly by Jonathan. He offered me a tour of the entire facility while Luna got to know Rafael, the handler/trainer, better. I was fully impressed with the attention to detail Jonathan and Melissa executed in building their business. They have taken every step to ensure superior cleanliness and maintain each dog's safety.
