Dave came to train our pup, Hanky who had serious issues with anxiety, aggression, and resource guarding. Dave was compassionate, informative, and incredibly helpful. He took time to get to know our family and tailor Hank's training to his personality and needs. He is incredibly knowledgeable and we have seen a huge improvement in our dog's behavior. Hanky is happier and now we know how to support him in order to avoid aggression. We also started taking both of our dogs to EveryDog Daycamp and it has been amazing to have a safe place where our dogs can play with other pups without me worrying something might happen to them. We had such a great experience with Dave! We elected to do in-home training sessions for our (roughly) 1.5 year old pup, Knox. Dave was super patient and informative and gave us great tips for helping with Knox's energy and excitability. Not only that, he did a great job navigating our other dog, Maddox who was along for the ride and sometimes really interested in Dave's treats! Dave helped us with methods on how to help handle Knox's excitement when new people come into the house and to keep him calm when he sees dogs on walks and some things in-between, providing step-by-step instructions for ways we can work with him to get him to those calm places. Don't get sucked into his itemized for every little offering price list to extract as much as possible for what should be routine day care or overnights for your dog. And actual training if needed, that's an arm and a leg. He had us come back (for no charge) and back (with charge) and back again (with another charge) and then a practice overnight (with charge) before he would even commit to taking our rescue dog for an actual overnighter we needed his support on after our dog supposedly failed the meet and greet (as wouldn't take treats which is an indication for Dave the dog won't obey every command so not the kind of dog he wants to support) yet after going to a different trainer who handles difficult dogs, our little guy's issues were resolved quickly and easily (our dog's anxieties and little bit of aggression due to being abused in the first year plus of his life). My little furry son, Rex, has pretty severe anxiety--especially around new people and unfamiliar places. So when we recently moved to Irvine, I was super nervous about finding a new doggy daycare that would really understand his needs. After lots of Yelp and Google searching, I came across Every Dog and decided to give them a try based on all the great reviews--and wow, I'm so glad I did! At our first meet and greet, Rex was super anxious--shaking and crying. But the staff was incredibly kind and patient. They didn't rush him at all. Instead, they gave him plenty of time to adjust, gradually increasing his time there--starting with 30 minutes, then 1 hour, 2 hours, and eventually 4. Now he happily stays for over 6 hours and actually enjoys his daycare time, which is a HUGE win for us. The facility is super clean and well-maintained, and I really appreciate how they require up-to-date vaccination records. It shows they take safety and hygiene seriously. We've been bringing our 3 year old Bichon Poodle to EveryDog almost every week since he was 6 months old and joined their EveryPup program. It's honestly been one of the best things we've done for him! The program has really helped him socialize and learn how to respect other dogs. We always book baths with Brooke, and our pup comes home smelling spectacular every single time. Brooke is wonderful; she always goes the extra mile and is super flexible if we need to adjust our schedule. One thing I really appreciate about EveryDog is that they actually take the time to assess each dog before allowing them into daycare. This gives us so much peace of mind since it helps avoid serious problems you hear about at other places, like fights or dogs that just don't get along. I brought my 6 month old terrier mix rescue siblings to EveryDog for a meet and greet. They had never been to a daycare setting before and they were very scared and unsure. One of the puppies, Buttercup, passed the meet n greet test, although she was extremely nervous. My other puppy, Franc, didn't pass, as he was too protective of his space and would bark and act defensive with approaching dogs. He did not bite anyone but he would act afraid and snippy, letting the other dogs know not to get too close. EveryDog said they would be willing to retest him the next day. In the meantime, I dropped buttercup off for her first time at daycare for two hours. She was absolutely miserable. I watched her on the webcam and she was under distress the entire time, trying to get out the door. No one came to console her or try to comfort her. She had no interaction with anyone the entire time. It was heartbreaking to see her so sad. When I came to pick her up with franc.. they said they could test him one more time.. so I agreed and they still failed him. I asked if there was an option for training to help socialize him. They said no. They just refused him... and then telling me buttercup doesn't enjoy daycare, which clearly she didn't. I am new to all this daycare stuff and didn't know what to expect. I figured the pups would struggle somewhat at first, feeling uncomfortable in a strange place... but this place and the people were not friendly or inviting at all. I felt a bit of shock when I left with my two dogs and the way they were both rejected. It made me feel really sad for my dogs, as I felt maybe I wouldn't be able to find a place for them at all, and I felt completely hopeless. And as I was driving home, I decided there had to be a better place that would accept them.. I pulled over and looked on yelp and saw another place that gets good reviews and actually closer to my house. I drove directly there. I took my dogs inside and right away, three lovely young ladies greeted us and had nothing but love for my two puppies. It was such an amazing experience. I made an appt to bring them back the next day for a meet n greet and they both passed with flying colors!! I've waited to write this review because 'EveryDog' made me second guess my dog's character/behavior, and I needed to make sure it wasn't my dogs. They've been going to this new place a couple times a week for the past month with no problems. Franc and Buttercup pull me to the door as they are so excited when I drop them off at their new daycare. I have to say, this experience gave me so much anxiety. It's been a relief to find this new place, and all the staff there who love my babies. When we brought Lola in for the first time, she was super scared. She kept her tail between her legs the whole time and avoided other dogs. Destiny was really friendly and recommended another meet-and-greet with the owner, Dave, for an assessment. Then Dave recommended a few other mini sessions to get her socialized so she's not too stressed out. She seems to be slowly doing better, so today we brought her in for the 5th time, were able to leave her for 4 hours, and she did not want to leave when we went to get her! Wow! When my sister recommended socialization classes for our new puppy, we were skeptical, but after looking into it, we felt there was no harm in it, and we are so glad we signed up. In fact, we kept signing up for classes! Socialization is key when a puppy is at a certain age range, and they say the window closes by week 16 or 20 for them. Why is it key? Dogs do actually have to learn to play with other dogs, and this process solidifies the neurons in the puppy's brain. Pistachio and his new friends actually weren't shy with playing or interacting with each other....play wrestling and running around. Our moderator and trainer, Windsey, is amazing with these creatures, and most importantly, she understands how a dog learns. I highly recommend Brooke! I brought my toy poodle for a full groom and she did such an amazing job. If you are poodle breed owner, you know how the hair gets tangled and matted easily. Brooke dematted and combed all the tangles. Brooke is super professional, knowledgeable and considerate. We discussed how I would like the haircut before taking my fur baby in. You can also add in sample pictures when you make the appointment online. The portal was easy to use and you will need to add the vaccination document or bring them with you as a first time customer. The full groom took about an hour and fur baby returned with fresh cut and smelling like berries :) Quality service with friendly staffs. Brooke took such good care of my girl. My 4 year old schnauzer had been to two other large facilities for daycare. Watching him on the webcams was painful. There were way too many dogs, too few employees and he was stressed and neglected. I'll leave this for people like myself who are through and through "dog people," not just an average OC "pet mom." If you're a "dog person," you'll find this place a great disappointment. I'll preface by saying that I have nothing against them, staff is actually amazing and very genuinely sweet. So this is a completely honest and emotionless feedback that I wish I'd read before boarding my dog here. 1. Owner is very overwhelmed and although he's a great guy and dedicated, he's a bit over his head with these dogs. I've trained and shown dogs my entire life, so when I came here and he kept saying "this will be an issue, that'll be an issue" and I kept telling him, "trust me, dogs will sort it out and it won't be an issue." Turns out, his concerns never became an issue, dogs all loved each other. 2. I paid full price for a full service boarding which was supposed to be in a suit. He said bring the crate "just in case." I know he's saying otherwise now, but that's what was said. My dog slept in his crate the entire time. Did the owner say "hey it's not fair to pay full price for a suit but be carted?" Nope. 3. My biggest concern was that my pup was being potty trained and he assured me that dogs would be let out at 5am and someone is there at all times, etc etc. my dog had 3 accidents in his crate. Which he's never done..So that lets me know how long he must have cried in there to be let out and was ignored. Again, he's arguing this, but his staff slipped and was honest. 4. I asked for his nails to be trimmed, they were all still as long as they were, with the tips slightly filed, I had to trim them when I got home and was charged full price for nails. Again, I'm a crazy dog guy, my dogs nails are always short and quick was short, otherwise i wouldn't have been able to trim when I got home. Or if you don't feel comfortable, then don't charge for it. But don't half a it and then charge. 5. Drop off was at 10am and pick up was at 10 or something if I recall, I didn't get to drop him off due to travel plans til about 1pm and didn't get to pick him up til about 1/2pm. So technically, picked him up around the same time he was dropped off, got charged a late pick up fee. 6. And this is my favorite!! I said since I'll be outta town for a week and just adopted him and have been working on his training, might as well keep that going and get some training in. Mind you, I've been training this dog for 3 months since I adopted him, they said okay, we'll train him. They never asked me what he already knows, 2 days later they say "we're working on sit/down and drop it," things he already knew lol, and I said all I wanted was leash pressure training. Although I didn't say "leash pressure," any dog person knows when you say impulse and pulling, they're referring to lease pressure... Again, paid full price for training and dog came out pulling on the leash and doing whatever he wanted. Zero training, paid $45/day for 5 days. Full price again, for service I didn't receive. 7. He'd keep updating me during my travel, "he's fixated on certain dogs, he's got soft stool, this that." His amazing staff actually said "every dog fixates on these dogs, not just yours," funny thing is I could actually see on the camera that all other dogs fixated on those digs too, but he tried to make it sound like it was just my dog. And first poop he had when I picked him up and every time after that was solid. Dave needs more time around dogs and learn customer relations etiquette. He comes from the executive world and really doesn't get customer relations and the service aspect. I paid around $800 happily cause my dog was alive, that's all I asked for. But when you see all these amazing reviews, they're from people who are just happy to have someone manage their dog for them cause they can't. But if you're a dog person and have a strict training regimen with your dog and want someone who cares. This place isn't it and they're just gonna stress you out the whole time about dogs being dogs. P.s my dog is the sweetest dog in the world and funny enough all the golden retrievers kept attacking him. Oh and they want you to pump your dog full of every vaccine on earth every 6 months to be here. Places that care about your pets won't ask you to poison your dog like that. He said ist about the Giardia, but it's not. There's a lot of good places in Irvine who are experienced, have greater customer service and won't charge you for things they weren't able to accommodate , etc, and best part, they won't text you all day to stress you out when they don't know what they're doing. They'll figure it out and you'll pick up your dog happy and well cared for. And yes, I was civil, I was at their mercy with my dog there. You just validated everything I had said. I have nothing invested in this, just looking out for a client like myself, nothing against Dave and his staff, they're just not experienced and his emotional rant proved that again. The trial process is insanely brutal: a minimum of three rounds of "interviews," where even the slightest sign of nervousness (no barking, no biting, no attacking other dogs) means you're out. Senior dogs seem particularly disadvantaged. At this point, "Everydog" is absolutely misleading--"SelectiveDog" or "OnlyEliteDog" would better reflect the reality. This is an updated review after the business owner's reply: The business owner claimed that they made the decision based on the dog's intolerance level. He told me that Booboo barked about 10 minutes for a total of 29 hours plus 7.5 hours of initial meet and greet. This is unarguably not an intolerable level. Every creature, including human beings, needs time to adjust. If my dog used 10 minutes to adjust to a new environment, that's completely understandable. 2. The business never initiated the follow up phone call. I had to call them 2 times with a voicemail to ask them what the issue was. I had to wait a few hours to hear back from them. When we picked up our dog from the overnight stay, the staff there never explained anything to our face. 3. I don't think the assessing period of over 2 weeks is an expedited process. My dog went through an initial 7.5 hours of meet and greet, two full days and one night of care for assessment. Also, we never REQUESTED quieter night for the trial. Your staff told us it happened to be a quiet night. Please don't use misleading information on this platform. A lot of people rely on this app to get genuine and authentic information. The purpose of me posting my experience is to warn the dog owners who have senior dogs that if your dog shows even 0.1 signs of nervousness/anxiety towards a new environment, they will deny your dog. This is a business which only accepts dogs who have ZERO signs of anxiety. I'm extremely disappointed about how biased their assessment system is set up. read more

Everydog is an amazing facility and the staff is TOP NOTCH! Enrolled my 11-week-old golden retriever puppy, Beau in the EveryPup program and have been blown away by the basic obedience training. Every staff member is friendly, professional and so amazing! Beau has now been in the EveryPup program now for 4 weeks and will continue until he ages out around 20 weeks. The trainers send a several-paragraph email and videos on the daily training. I was blown away by how detailed they were. From terminology to PDF guides on training and best practices. Once we arrive at around 8 AM, Beau is wagging his tail at the front door waiting for Dave and his staff until 4 PM-He is still wagging and excited when picked up. Being a first responder that works the night shift I wanted to find a program that would give Beau the best socialization and training possible. Everydog has done that and way beyond. We had such a great experience boarding our 6 month old puppy at Everydog. We had a trip planned this summer before getting our puppy, Luna. I was very anxious about the thought of leaving her for an extended period of time when we had only had her for 2 months. I toured multiple boarding facilities, individuals who will board, and pet sitters and when I met Dave I knew Luna would be in good hands. It was important that Luna was well taken care of but also at such a young age that she didn't come home with any bad habits or un-do the training we had started. Luna stayed at Everydog for 12 nights and we added in a training pack and some walks. I received daily text updates, pictures, full training summary e-mails, and I could also watch her on video to see how she was doing. She started out very shy and to herself and by the end had made some friends and was quite playful. I never saw the dogs in the play yard without active supervision and engagement. Also - fun to see her on Instagram! The surprise for us was when Luna came home with some positive changes in her behavior. She is already so much better leash walking and settling, sitting and staying, and is really great when she sees other dogs on walks (no fear, or aggression, just curiosity but she can stay focused). We are regulars here and can't speak highly enough of the staff! This time around, Kodi, my 7 y/o golden, came in for a quick bath and touch up. Brooke was his groomer and as always, she did an incredible job! There have been groomers in the past where I know my dogs are uncomfortable with, but we've used Brooke to groom both our dogs for a while now and each time she sees them, she remembers their name and they are equally as excited to see her! Not to mention, Brooke works super efficiently and is extra communicative. Every grooming place I've been to will take hours to groom a dog, but then never provide any follow up or update other than "3-4 hours." Here, between drop off and pick-up, the total time was only a little over an hour and Brooke texted me as soon as she was getting started and updated me as soon as she was done. This system they have in place here is so much better than at other places where I would frequently call and be placed on hold just to get an update. Anyway, can't say enough great things about this place. They say dogs have a 6th sense and I can genuinely say my dogs are always excited when I pull into the EveryDog parking lot, whether it's for grooming, day care or training. I just wanted to update my review to mention what an amazing groomer Brooke is. Riley, Aspen's previous groomer, has since left Everydog and now Aspen has been groomed by Brooke our last couple of visits. She's so receptive and kind to exactly what I ask for and Aspen comes out looking so beautiful. Aspen isn't fond of being groomed (as most dogs aren't), but I have a lot of peace of mind taking Aspen to Brooke knowing she would never be mishandled or overtly forced to doing something beyond her comfort level. Cannot recommend Brooke and Everydog more highly. Although Aspen no longer goes to daycare here (not through any fault of anyone here, she just seems to have outgrown it), there are good people running this place and they are really a step above your average doggy daycare. read more

EveryDog has been the best home away from home for our dog, Biscotti. We started bringing her to EveryDog when she was around 6 months old to give her a fun place to socialize while we're at work and with the hope of improving her mild separation anxiety. From day 1, Dave and his staff handled Biscotti with love and compassion as she integrated into the daycare program, and with each passing week, we saw a tangible improvement in her excitement and confidence. Initially hesitant and timid when we'd arrive for drop off, now, she literally drags me inside! It's evident that every staff member loves and cares deeply for dogs and aim to always provide a safe, fun environment for them. It is so fun watching her make new friends with not just other dogs, but staff as well (special shoutout to Destiny). Beyond daycare, she has also stayed overnight for boarding and recently started seeing Sam for grooming - EveryDog has really become a one stop shop for us! Couldn't recommend them enough! read more

Was really looking forward to this place because the high ratings but was disappointed after my fur baby's first day of half day care. I do appreciate the access to cameras and the friendliness of the staff. We did our initial meet n greet on a Tuesday and it was quick - about 20 min in total. Brought Gus in and after a quick intro chat they took him back to the room and introduced other dogs 1 by 1. I like how they have you watch the entire session through the camera that you watch via a laptop they provide in the lobby/entrance room. Everything was great and he passed the initial meet n greet so I decided to try the half day care for the first time later that week on Friday. I bring him in at 10am and after about 5-10 min they text me a link that allows access to the cameras so I can watch him whenever I'd like and check to see how things are going. I do appreciate this and I think it's a great practice to implement in any doggy boarding/day care business model. However, my son has a very sensitive tummy and I specifically told them this and asked that he is not fed too many treats as he will get sick. As I'm watching the cameras for the four hours of half day care I was extremely disappointed with what I saw. The dogs do not play and the workers don't seem to do anything to get them stimulated other than literally standing around and throwing treats out on the floor the entire time... literally saw the girl looking down on her phone and throwing treats out to "get the dogs to disperse and practice positive reinforcement". This is all they do the whole time. Treats thrown the whole time and my son came back so uncomfortable full and was panting for 3 hours while at home trying to digest. His stomach was larger and harder than normal so I was contemplating taking him to the vet or giving him a little peroxide to induce vomit because he was visibly uncomfortable. I can't imagine what would have happened to him if I left him there for a full day of day care. After I spend the next 3-4 hours trying to comfort him, he ends up having diahrea when we take him out. On his walk he's walking quite slow because he's still too full. Had to skip his dinner that evening.. Would love to see a place that actually plays with the dogs and gets them interacting with toys, activities, or something other than over feeding treats all day. Will continue searching for another day care unfortunately :/ read more

I can't begin to say enough good things about this place. We were new puppy owners and completely overwhelmed. After doing tons of research into other daycares, we decided to go with EveryDog and enroll in the EveryPup program for a couple of reasons: 1. The owner is clearly very passionate about dogs and truly wants the best for each pup in his facility. After a 30 minute phone call where I asked lots of questions, I felt confident in enrolling my puppy that same week. 2. This is a full-service place. You can board your dog, get them groomed, etc. The hours are super accommodating to most work schedules as well. 3. We love the fact that there are webcams running all day and we can check in on our pup whenever we want. 4. The trainers send extremely detailed reports and videos on what they worked on with the pups. We have noticed a huge difference in our dog right away. 5. The staff are all super friendly and caring. The receptionist Regan stands out with her infectious positivity and enthusiasm for dogs. Make no mistake, EveryDog is expensive, but we genuinely feel that it's worth the price. There are lots of different packages to pick from to suit your budget. Look no further for a top-tier daycare facility! read more
