    Best groomers EVER

Absolutely ADORE the spaw and every single person that works there. The fact that they require a little "seminar" and test day care run first alone speaks volumes of the care everyone has for all the fur babies there. They truly put the animals first which I adore. I've learned so much from everyone there. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This is the only place that I trust with my dog. For boarding. For haircuts. For dental cleanings. The only place! Carey is absolutely wonderful and truly cares about the health and well-being of animals. She is a ball of knowledge and shares that knowledge with her clients. Carey is also one of the main reasons that I switched my dog's food over to raw meat over 4 years ago and why I will continue to do so. Hands down, the best place for all dogs and cats!

My Australian Shepherd, Charlie, enjoyed a spa day and he wasn't alone. His furry friends (Rosie and Pokie) came along and they were treated like VIP guests. The team clearly loves dogs, and the pack left clean, calm, and clearly pampered.

A few weeks after his haircut, all cute and shaggy just like I asked

The team at The Spaw is SO wonderful. They take such good care of my pup and deliver the service with kindness and professionalism. My doggo Benji is spending his weekdays at daycare this week and it's taken a huge weight off my shoulders knowing he's here. It's helped him socialize with other dogs, get that puppy energy out and come home for a lovely sleep! Great haircuts (and they will fix it if you're ever unhappy) and that fresh clean scent lasts much longer than when we do it at home!!! Thank you ladies for everything!

    After grooming...Pink hair don't care!

I've been wanting to dye her hair pink and I finally did it! She looks AMAZING!! They always do a good job with the haircut and bath. I sometimes add teeth cleaning every now and then. I love the bandana and cute bow ties they add to make her look pretty!

They always add a little bow and bandana/necklace which is a cute touch.

I've been bringing my Pomeranians here for the past few years and can honestly say they do the best job. Jenn is very meticulous and is careful not to cut my pom's hair too short lest it doesn't grow back (we like the boo haircut). I've been to other groomers that have ruined my dogs coat but I always feel at ease and trust the experience of the Spaw staff. My only gripe is the price - $99+ for a full body groom which is about $20 higher than it was a year or two ago. But it's worth it anyway.

Honestly I have no complaints, they take care of my baby each and every time. My maltipoo Ace comes home looking so handsome every time. He never wants to leave his friends at the Spaw. Oh wait I do have a complaint, the Spaw is so good they're booked and busy . That is a good sign, I didn't want to leave this review because I wanted to keep them allll to myself!!!

We love the spaw! Terry always does an amazing job. The front desk is always so friendly and I love coming here because they genuinely love my dog!!

I always take my cats there when traveling! I like that it's not too many cat rooms like other places and they get attention.

My dog is also 20 pounds and a complete grooming is in the 71.00-76.00 range and is well worth it.

They ask for vaccinations records and need the 6month shots before they take your dog in. The reception area looks like a spa. It's clean and pleasant. There is a gate by the front door so dogs can't run out onto the street if the door opens. Unfortunately you cannot see into the grooming area. They keep the door shut at all times and there is no viewing window which is different to what I've seen at other places. To me this was a red flag. I told the lady at reception what i wanted and she translated in to the groomer. The entire grooming experience was done very quick, they took an hour and a half. Is this a good thing? I thought so. Until I saw my dog. The cut was uneven and choppy. His face didn't have a good finish. He had been nicked with the shaver in a few spots and had blood. His nails had not been cut. And he was dirty!! I actually called back to ask them because I genuinely thought they forgot to wash him! She didn't acknowledge anything I had to say or check with the groomer. She claimed everything was done and he's clean. She wouldn't listen to the fact that when I rubbed a wipe over him the white wipe was brown! I could see bits of white fur all over his black coat. It was gross. She said you can wash him again if you like! We had to wash him again at home and I re-cut his mouth area myself. Disappointed with their reaction to my feedback when i called so unfortunately here it goes publicly for everyone to see.

When we got to the place, there was dog hair all over the floor, I chatted with the manager there and they mentioned they wipe the floor 2-3x a day so I must've come during the tail ned. The appointment which typically takes 2-3 hours ended up taking 1.5 hours. They request payment and tip before they bring you your pet. I had some feedback that I shared with the manager and they reassured me that they care deeply about the salon and grooming service so I know they're working on improvements. They were happy to take my dog back to another cleaning, but I didn't have the time. I appreciate the time and effort the manager took to call and chat about my feedback.

My puppy stayed for two weeks at Paw Sweet Paw, and I have to say the marketing does a better job…read morethan how the business actually operates. Prior to the stay, I was told first-timers get 1 week of free boarding. Knowing that we'd be out of the country for 2 weeks, this was perfect, on top of thinking the workers were nice. I also made sure they would be sending photo updates EVERY DAY via email and that there are cameras in the play area for us to check on him. As the front desk lady could tell, I made sure to make their lives easier, so I printed out 2 A4 sheets of things to know about my pup, being as detailed as possible so they wouldn't be confused about what to do since he's still a puppy. Two weeks later, we had to ask our friend to pick him up because they said no one could help release the pup on Easter Day. When they went to pick him up, both the bowl and the bed were missing, and they couldn't find them on the spot. They had to be delivered the day after, and ONLY because I made that phone call to confirm if they could find my puppy's bowl and his ginormous bed. During those two weeks, we clearly informed them that we would be out of the country and that SMS wouldn't work, yet they didn't remember until I emailed them, twice. Over the 15 days, I could barely see my pup on the camera, and I only received THREE email updates and one 10-second video of my puppy, which didn't even show anything meaningful. It felt like it was recorded just for the sake of sending something. One of the updates was also sent only after I emailed them the second time. Being told we'd be getting one week of free pet boarding for first-timers was WHY we chose to stay here. The staff also told us we could call for a refund if we were mischarged. Two weeks later, when we called, the lady told me they were going through reorganization, so workers were moving around, maybe that's why things were missing, and that the free first week only applied to daycare. I would have to speak to the manager about my concern. The manager obviously had the answer in mind and avoided my phone calls a couple of times, on top of my calls getting hung up more than 2-3 times during transfer. When she finally picked up, without hesitation to my question, she said she couldn't refund me for the first free week, but she could offer me a discount, or a free daycare day or some other discounts. Lol. What's the difference between giving me back a 1-week refund as your team promised versus a discount? Why not solve the problem instead of dancing around it? Why am I getting "punished" when your workers told me the wrong thing? Sure, you might lose a couple hundred bucks, but what's more valuable is that you're losing is a customer who will no longer trust your business, and the word-of-mouth effect that could've helped bring in more customers. As a business owner, you should understand better why pet owners trust you with their dogs and what they expect, especially in Orange County. Unfortunately, our first experience was horrendous and extremely disappointing. The level of disorganization and hassle is beyond disappointing. If you're looking for a pet boarding hotel, I strongly suggest finding somewhere else. Like the lady said, they're going through reorganization, so they might be too busy taking care of customers right now anyway.
