I dropped off my dog in the morning around 8 and when I came back to check in on him around 12pm, the man at the front said " well you are really early but let me check..." in the most passive aggressive way lol. I even said no worries if he is not but there was just unnecessary hostility. 30 minutes later I get a text saying my dog was ready and then when we left the plaza already, they call us back to say the groomer forgot to trim his nails.. So.. what were you guys doing for 4 hours? Never again

Most of the time, our dog's cut is incredibly cute though once in a while there is a slight miss. They will usually try to get you the look you want and make adjustments as requested. The only note is that pricing jumped near 10% at least two years in a row. With tip, it can cost nearly $150 or more for a small dog cut, which does seem pricier. Would love to see price increases calm down so we don't get priced out of affording their services. With that said, we still keep going because it's hard to find the level of service and good to great grooming technique used by the Spaw. We have not used other services here so will not comment on that. Plenty of parking and decent availability, but I would call at least a couple of weeks in advance for scheduling. They ask for vaccinations records and need the 6month shots before they take your dog in. The reception area looks like a spa. It's clean and pleasant. There is a gate by the front door so dogs can't run out onto the street if the door opens. Unfortunately you cannot see into the grooming area. They keep the door shut at all times and there is no viewing window which is different to what I've seen at other places. To me this was a red flag. I told the lady at reception what i wanted and she translated in to the groomer. The entire grooming experience was done very quick, they took an hour and a half. Is this a good thing? I thought so. Until I saw my dog. The cut was uneven and choppy. His face didn't have a good finish. He had been nicked with the shaver in a few spots and had blood. His nails had not been cut. And he was dirty!! I actually called back to ask them because I genuinely thought they forgot to wash him! She didn't acknowledge anything I had to say or check with the groomer. She claimed everything was done and he's clean. She wouldn't listen to the fact that when I rubbed a wipe over him the white wipe was brown! I could see bits of white fur all over his black coat. It was gross. She said you can wash him again if you like! We had to wash him again at home and I re-cut his mouth area myself. Disappointed with their reaction to my feedback when i called so unfortunately here it goes publicly for everyone to see.

We brought him in at 13 weeks to the EveryPup Program, where he is in a clean and disinfected facility with other safe and healthy pups and he gets training every day by Dave. Almost from day 1 we started noticing huge changes, and he matured so rapidly it's like we have a different dog! He is very calm, polite and attentive, and has been able to self-regulate so well. Dave is always available for our questions and follow ups, and he sends over progress notes and photos every day from training sessions. We also would ask him about problem behavior such as counter surfing or jumping up on people to greet, and Dave would target those specific behaviors as well. We also appreciated how fast and quickly they acted on our puppy swallowing something he shouldn't have, and immediately gave him some hydrogen peroxide to get him to throw it up, which saved us from extremely expensive and likely traumatic vet visits and possible surgery. Very grateful! Every day we pick up our puppy he is so happy from a day of playing and getting love from all the staff, and is tired and ready for some cuddles and naps when he gets home. The staff here are so caring and really love each dog, I trust them to take care of our puppy. Highly recommend!

It goes to show that the groomers really do take good care of her. They've literally been part of her life (at least for her grooming experience). She always get the full service groom, which includes haircut, bath, nail trim, paw trim, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. Usually it takes about 1.5-2 hours depending on how busy they are. Once she's all nice and clean, the groomers always call or text me saying she's ready. Sometimes they even dress her up with a cute little bow~ There was a time while they were grooming her, they found a small scab on her body and immediately messaged me about it. It wasn't their fault actually, but it was because my dog was playing too rough with the two dogs we had at home. I do super appreciate that they reached out on this. It goes to show that they do care about animal welfare and immediately bring anything that could be worrisome to my attention asap. Definitely love their service and friendliness! I even got my cousin to bring her dog here! :)

To my surprise, she seemed incredibly comfortable with the groomer right away, which is unusual because she's typically a bit skittish around new people. I was amazed when she walked over to the scale on command and actually sat down--a feat she rarely accomplishes with anyone other than me! I explained exactly what I wanted, dropped her off, and to my delight, I received a call much sooner than expected saying she was ready. When I picked her up, she looked absolutely fabulous! I did ask for a little touch-up in one area--a tidy-up for her bottom--and the groomer took care of it without any fuss. The best part? My dog was so calm and relaxed with the groomer. Given some past horror stories with other groomers, I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went this time. It was pure joy to see her happy and stress-free when I brought her home. While the prices felt a bit steep, I realized that having my dog groomed without the anxiety for her is totally worth it. I can't wait to bring her back for another pampering session!

This dog wash shop is amazing! They not only have advanced facilities and comfortable environment, but also very professional and attentive staff. This is the best groomers for miles, I live in Irvine. I deliver my dogs looking like a scruff and he comes out looking like a star.
