They do know how to manage doodles' hair. Ours has three different types and textures and the haircut always comes out well. The stylists talk through what you want and what will work based on face and body type, hair type, contingencies if there's matting, etc. It's small so only one dog is allowed to be picked up or drop off at a time. If you request, they'll also let you know earlier appointments open up. NOTE ABOUT THE SHOPPING CENTER: it is has VERY TIGHT parking spots and not many of them. My little shih tzu has been coming to Dream Pet Grooming for over a year. We've been to a few other places before settling in at Dream Pet for all her grooming needs. Dream Pet does the best job on our puppy. Mochi always look fantastic and adorable when finished. Mochi always gets either a ribbon, a hair bow, or even cute little hair clips when finished. Our doggie is like a cat and does not like water. However, the staff at Dream Pet always takes such good care of her. The staff is very patient with her and Mochi responds very well to them. Mochi also knows she gets a treat when she's all done. As per the other reviews, it is true we need to pick up Mochi as soon as they are done. So we always pick a day when we are ready to pick her up at a moment's notice. They are pretty consistent when it comes to finishing up from the time of drop off. If Mochi's getting a full haircut, then she'll definitely be around 2 hours. If it's a bath + trim, probably within 1.5 hours. Other places I've been to, it's all over the place. Sometimes I have to wait 5+ hours for Mochi to be done because they aren't ready to work with her until 3 hours later. But at Dream Pet, they always start working with Mochi as soon as we drop off, so the timing is very consistent. Hence the 5-star review. read more
