More fun with awesome Bone Adventure Staff
    Lilly G.

I've been to both Bone Adventure locations and love the Bristol location for The Swim Club in their saltwater pool. The 2700 Bristol St location off Newport Blvd (55 & 73 freeways). Make sure your pet has their latest vaccinations (Bordetella & Ova/Parasite Test +Giardia ELISA Test every 6 months) & DHLPP/Rabies every 1-3yrs) complete before enrolling your pup into their Intro to Swim (required). The Intro to Swim was pretty cool. It was private session with one lifeguard in the water and one of their awesome staff members to assess your pup's swimming skills. They even have life vests of all sizes. Bone Adventure has a pretty large shallow "beach" area to get your pup acclimated. You can even put your feet in and play with your fur baby which I do. How I would love to swim with Finn one day if I'm allowed. Finn was timid at first, but get that squeaker ball and he's game for almost anything. He was in the deep end in no time. The cost is $30 for 30 minutes for the group swim and we definitely maximize that half hour as it is perfect play time. They've got different hours for different group of dogs - small dogs, large dogs and dock diving classes! I love taking Finn to the small group session so he's not overwhelmed by all the dogs during pool time. Like any playground, the doggies are just sooooo excited! It's cute to witness really. Many times, Finn gets passive if another dog fetches the ball he was swimming towards. All in all, Bone Adventure, their awesome staff and their salt water pool is awesome and highly recommended.

Our friend recommended The Bone Adventure after we had moved to the area and we are so glad she did! We bring both of our huskies here and they absolutely love it. The staff know their names and are very attentive. We also have them groomed here every quarter and they come back smelling great and looking so handsome. It's so nice to drop them off for boarding and know you'll pick them up fresh and clean. To speak to their attentiveness: Our oldest has had a foot injury/wound while we were away for over a week and they called to keep us updated, took such good care of him and even offered to take him to their own vet. I trust them greatly with my dogs and would highly recommend to anyone!

What a fun dog adventure place! Took my pup here for an intro to swim class. She was hesitant at first, but loved it. The instructor was gentle with her to get her comfortable with the deep end and let her swim back to me a few times. By the end she was grabbing pool toys swimming back to me. They also make sure each pup is healthy as well to ensure the safety of all pups. Will my pup be back? Definitely!

We love bringing our dog to the bone adventure to swim in the pool! You can join the public swim or if you have enough pup friends, you could even have a private pool party! An hour is usually enough to tire out our pup. He has a great time splashing around, jumping into the water, catching balls, and sometimes even leaping off the dock! The pool is nice and large and they limit it to ten dogs. If you join the public swim, you just need to call in advance to see if they have space. Be sure to be all updated on your dog's vaccinations! During public swim, they have dogs from their daycare that can come and swim for a little bit. I think it's really great that they have their team members there supervising all the dogs playing. In case anything happens, they know how to remedy the situation. They are always watching out and making sure the new pups know where to get into the water and where to get out. First couple of times they also provided us with a life jacket for our pup, so he can get used to swimming. They've got tons and tons of balls, frisbees, and toys for the dogs to chase after. After play time is over. They will help you rinse off your pup. There's also towels to get them dried off. Shoutout to Zac for taking especially good care of Keoni today! It's always a fun time here and we love to visit whenever we can!

Moose at Swim Club! They even offer life jackets for all sizes of dogs (from tiny to giant!)

UPDATE 2 YEARS LATER: My pup has since passed, but the Bone Adventure helped give him the BEST life, and he loved it there. It was his happy place, and the staff were amazing wjth him and I through everything. They called to check in on him when he was feeling unwell, and they sent me the sweetest card after he passed, and the staff were so supportive of me through that rough time. We've also begun to use their grooming services for our little old maltipoo and they always do a wonderful job! They continue to make me feel good about my choice in choosing them to be the daycare for my pups. We adopted a new pup and they've been just as fantastic with him. He loves it, and they've been great at helping me welcome him to the family. I've seen the way the staff interact with him, and how much he loves showing up there, and I can continue to confidently recommend the Bone Adventure to anyone who's seeking doggy daycare and/or boarding/grooming. I always refer friends, family, and neighbors woth pups and those who have used their services also love it!

What a slice of Disneyland for dogs! I could not be more impressed with this whole experience and how delightful all of the people who work there are. My dog is part of their family and gets so tired by the time he comes home it is perfect to get rid of all of his energy! Highly recommend!!

I use to bring my dog Maggie to the Bone.. but she's now a senior girl.. but since I have a adopted a new puppy her name is Mia. She's a German Shepard mix with high energy and separation anxiety. First let me say that I was so nervous about leaving Mia at the Bone because of her issues. I gave it a try either way and I'm so glad I did. The staff is so patient with Mia, they take great care of my girl. I can call anytime, and many times through out the day for updates, the staff is always so helpful and friendly. They know my girl has some issues, they work with her needs and make sure she's happy and not stressed. I just love this place . Thank you to all the staff at the Bone. You have no idea how much I appreciate you.

    Happy boy leaving from daycare!

Our dog loves going to bone adventure and playing with all the doggies! The staff is very professional and kind to our dog Bodie. I feel safe taking our dog there for daycare often and Bodie is always excited once he sees the parking lot. He comes home exhausted from all the fun. I wish the half day was 4 1/2- 5 hours instead of just 4.

After utilizing daycare, boarding, and grooming services, Bone Adventure Backyard is the best for Maximus, my Great Pyrenees. What makes this a 5-Star? The STAFF!!! The service. The options. And it's not in a warehouse. The staff are the friendliest around. They manage ppl and pets with ease. They are open to dog owners words of suggestions for their pets. The dog handlers are very skillful in the art of pooch communication and highly observant in the yard. In other words, they can read the yard and dogs very well anticipating any issues. The groomers are so loving and caring when they wash the dogs and clip the nails. Maximus is really fussy but the groomers have a way of calming him down. I totally trust Bone Adventure 110% with Maximus. I know he's taken care of because they genuinely care. Highly recommended!!!! Happy Daycare and Fight On!

Prior to the stay, I was told first-timers get 1 week of free boarding. Knowing that we'd be out of the country for 2 weeks, this was perfect, on top of thinking the workers were nice. I also made sure they would be sending photo updates EVERY DAY via email and that there are cameras in the play area for us to check on him. As the front desk lady could tell, I made sure to make their lives easier, so I printed out 2 A4 sheets of things to know about my pup, being as detailed as possible so they wouldn't be confused about what to do since he's still a puppy. Two weeks later, we had to ask our friend to pick him up because they said no one could help release the pup on Easter Day. When they went to pick him up, both the bowl and the bed were missing, and they couldn't find them on the spot. They had to be delivered the day after, and ONLY because I made that phone call to confirm if they could find my puppy's bowl and his ginormous bed. During those two weeks, we clearly informed them that we would be out of the country and that SMS wouldn't work, yet they didn't remember until I emailed them, twice. Over the 15 days, I could barely see my pup on the camera, and I only received THREE email updates and one 10-second video of my puppy, which didn't even show anything meaningful. It felt like it was recorded just for the sake of sending something. One of the updates was also sent only after I emailed them the second time. Being told we'd be getting one week of free pet boarding for first-timers was WHY we chose to stay here. The staff also told us we could call for a refund if we were mischarged. Two weeks later, when we called, the lady told me they were going through reorganization, so workers were moving around, maybe that's why things were missing, and that the free first week only applied to daycare. I would have to speak to the manager about my concern. The manager obviously had the answer in mind and avoided my phone calls a couple of times, on top of my calls getting hung up more than 2-3 times during transfer. When she finally picked up, without hesitation to my question, she said she couldn't refund me for the first free week, but she could offer me a discount, or a free daycare day or some other discounts. Lol. What's the difference between giving me back a 1-week refund as your team promised versus a discount? Why not solve the problem instead of dancing around it? Why am I getting "punished" when your workers told me the wrong thing? Sure, you might lose a couple hundred bucks, but what's more valuable is that you're losing is a customer who will no longer trust your business, and the word-of-mouth effect that could've helped bring in more customers. As a business owner, you should understand better why pet owners trust you with their dogs and what they expect, especially in Orange County. Unfortunately, our first experience was horrendous and extremely disappointing. The level of disorganization and hassle is beyond disappointing. If you're looking for a pet boarding hotel, I strongly suggest finding somewhere else. Like the lady said, they're going through reorganization, so they might be too busy taking care of customers right now anyway.

I called and I spoke with someone who usually gets the calls but is not at the facility, explained my concerns and she said they were going to address it and someone was going to call me back, they never did, but since I was traveling for business, I let it go and asked my husband to just keep on eye for me. Fast forward to about a week ago; my puppy went back to daycare after being neutered, I dropped him off and 10 minutes later, I look at the camera and noticed he is not at the play room, I waited and check again 15 minutes later and nothing, 30 minutes later and again nothing, I called to see what was happening and again, someone, not at the facility tells me that she was informed that my puppy was trying to mount another dog and he was put away for a brake; I told the lady that my puppy was just dropped off when I saw he wasn't there and it has been already 30 min and still he was put away, my puppy was on the play room ; they lady couldn't figure out what happened and had to ask the staff so I went and got my puppy and brought him home. I continued to give this place chances because the convenience since is close to my home but about a month ago, I go to pick up my dog, he was there half day and I got informed that he was on private play, which is 20 minutes and the rest of the 4 hours he was put away. I was informed that from that day forward it was going to be that way because "he showed his teeth to another dog " My dog is about 25lbs little English cocker. Super sweet, has never been aggressive and all of the sudden according to HofW he deserves to be put away for showing teeth ????? What happened to the dog that grabbed him by the neck ? I continued to see him and he was a big dog , I see him on camera playing around . And another dog bit my sister's dog and cero consequences !!!!!! I take my dog to Paws Chateu now and not one time I had got a complaint . I also used to take him to paws chateu before when I was around that area, he has gone there to play and to stay without any incident . Besides they actually care for the dogs, not like House of Wood that doesn't even remind you of vaccines or anything like that, which tells me how careless they are . At house of woof there were only a couple of girls that showed love for my dog, anybody else works there just to have a job and they don't care for the animals. Andy Kitchen did a fantastic job! Her haircut was perfect, exactly what I asked for and my girl came out happy, clean, and looking her best. We both love it here now more than ever! If you've ever had a bad experience at Petrichor Pet salon, it's worth giving it a second chance under this new ownership! And ask for Andy Kitchen! P.s yes it's a little pricy but prices have gone up everywhere especially in OC.

They shaved my husky. (Look at the photos) Never have written a bad review but this is HORRIBLE…read more First time coming here and I spent 10 minutes explaining what I did and did not want, I asked for a bath and hygiene trim. I have a husky mix and have had bad experiences in the past so I like to make it overly clear to the point where I showed a photo of a husky's butt. I come back to get my dog and they have shaved her entire back side and tummy. They claimed it was matted, it was NOT matted she has an undercoat. Her undercoat is completely shaved off. It is going to take all year for this to grow back and until then she won't be able to regulate her temperature. I know the groomers couldn't know this but I don't live around here anymore I'm visiting. I live where it's very cold and snows. She WILL get cold. I was given a full refund after driving back over and insisting but this is just insane for this to happen at all. It is rule #1 of grooming, you DO NOT shave a dog with an undercoat * * Edit: Thank you Victor for taking the steps to address this issue and taking responsibility.
