Meet the assistant of OC Paw House OC paw house always takes care of our dog sitting needs. Wendy is so accommodating and her staff always makes sure that every single dog, including ours is included in all activities, doggy walks, and meal times. I will always bring our dogs here. Thank you again so much for your kindness and eagerness to make sure our little princess is cared for.

My girl Pepper having fun with bubbles at daycare

I love the OC paw house. Our pepper girl never wants to come home because she wants to play with her friends all day. I was able to board pepper for the first time and I loved having peace of mind that my girl was going to be taken care of and I can see how her day was going because they post daily stories on their instagram. I will always recommend the paw house to any pet parent, they truly care for our fur babies as if they were their own.

Leaving our dogs Jax and Frank for a whole week was something we were honestly nervous about because they've never stayed with anyone outside of our family before. From the moment we dropped them off, the entire experience put us completely at ease. We received constant updates, photos, and messages from Wendy and Madison, letting us know how they were doing, which meant so much to us and made being away from them so much easier. It was clear they were genuinely cared for, loved, and treated like family the entire time they were there. Seeing Jax and Frank happy, comfortable, and well taken care of gave us so much peace of mind. You can truly tell OC Paw House cares deeply about the animals they watch. We are beyond grateful for the care they gave our boys and will absolutely be using them again in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive place for their dogs!

I have a 5 month old golden who's a little shy at first but warms up once he gets to know other dogs and people. I wanted to do a trial with him at OC Paw House since I've been following them on Instagram for a bit and loved the adventures they do with the dogs. Clifford had such an amazing time with the other dogs and they took such great care of my Clifford. I would absolutely trust them to do boarding or a full day next time. In fact, I already have his next day booked!

If you're looking for a pet sitter, this is definitely is the best spot! I have dropped my baby Barkley off in their daycare service 3 times so far and he absolutely loves it. He always comes home happy and tired from all the fun. You can really tell they love dogs and take care of them like they're their own. I have yet to board him overnight but will be definitely trying this service in the future. Also, I love how they provide pictures and videos with updates on your dog is doing. Thank you again!

Roman, my 6 year old cockapoo having a blast

I recently took my dog Roman to OC Paw House with Wendy and Madison and I truly couldn't have asked for a better first boarding experience. They went above and beyond to make him feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. They kept me updated consistently with messages, photos, and even Instagram posts so I could follow along with his walks and daily adventures, which meant so much to me. Roman had a bit of a hard time eating the first couple of nights, and they were incredibly attentive and supportive, helping him through it with patience and care. That level of attention really reassured me that he was in the best hands. I love the fact the dogs get to roam freely throughout the home and aren't kept in crates overnight, it truly feels like a loving home experience. I would absolutely recommend OC Paw House to any dog parent who wants peace of mind knowing their fur baby is being genuinely loved and cared for 24/7 while they are away.

Nala on adventure at dog park

I can't say enough good things about OC Paw House! I left my dog Nala there for a long weekend, and it honestly felt like she was on her own little vacation. They took her on fun adventures, kept her active, and she was having the best time. What really stood out to me was the constant communication. I received regular updates, photos, and videos, and I also loved seeing her on their Instagram throughout the weekend. It gave me so much peace of mind being away, knowing she was happy, safe and havin a blast. I felt 100% comfortable the entire time, which says a lot. I will absolutely be using them for all my future getaways when I can't bring my pup with me, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, fun, and attentive place for their pup!

Great staff! Heard about this place from a friend and they did not disappoint. They sent me pictures throughout the day while they were doing activities to let me know my buddy was doing great and having a great time. I am recommending them to all my friends.

Our dog during his stay

It was our first time boarding with OC Paw house. It was a great experience for my 13 year old dog. He tends to have a hard time boarding but I loved the idea of having him stay at a place that's more of a home than a big warehouse. Wendy and her assistants gave me updates throughout the day and our dog looked like he was having such a great time. We will definitely be booking with them in the future. Thank you for taking care of our dog.

Made friends

OC paw house and Wendy was amazing. This was the first time my baby went to boarding and he did so good. They were really communicative and sent updates throughout the day. I was nervous because my puppy is not the friendliest usually, but seems like he did great with OC paw house. Now I have people I can trust with my baby when I need to go out of town. Thank you.

I cannot recommend OC Paw House enough! From the moment I reached out to Wendy to when I dropped off my dog Reggie, I could immediately tell he was in the best hands. Wendy, Jasmine and the team are absolute gems -- warm, patient, and truly passionate about caring for every dog that walks through the door. They treated Reggie like family, taking the time to learn his routine, his personality, and what makes him comfortable. They take the dogs to the dog park and even prepare individualized meals and treats for them. I loved getting updates, pictures and the many IG stories about him throughout his stay -- it really showed how much attention they give to each dog. When we picked Reggie up, he was happy, and clearly bonded with his nannies. It's such a relief to finally find a place where I never have to worry about leaving him. OC Paw House is clean, professional, and full of genuine love for animals. If you're looking for a boarding place where your dog will be safe, cared for, and truly loved, this is the one!

I'm an anxious dog mom with an anxious pup (the best combo ), so finding a trustworthy dog daycare/boarding place is not easy. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn't know how my dog would react to other dogs in a new environment. I usually send my dog to an operated boarding facility where he has his own room, so trying something new was a big step. Reading all the Yelp reviews for OC Paw House gave me the confidence and comfort to give it a try. Daycare: We started with a half-day daycare trial just to see how my dog would do, and the boy had an absolute blast. He was so happy when I picked him up and didn't want to go home. Once we were home, every time I say the word "daycare," he would run to the door and ready to go Boarding: I had an international trip and boarded my boy there for a total of 18 nights. He clearly forgot his momma the moment I dropped him off! Wendy and her staff went above and beyond taking care of him. I received lots of updates from Wendy, along with pictures and videos on their Instagram. Being far away and still being able to see how happy my dog was made me feel so relieved. Wendy and her staff truly care for all the dogs - daily walks, park time, playtime, treats, kisses, and cuddles. She even makes fresh rice and chicken for them! While I was away, my dog had a runny nose and was sneezing, and Wendy took him to urgent care to get him treated. Luckily it was just an allergy. She literally treated him like her own and I'm very grateful for that

My dog at a local dog park during a "field trip". Clearly delighted.

I cannot say enough good things about OC Paw House. My dog is a super friendly mix breed. He's very used to playing with other dogs at the dog park and at Huntington beach. However, a recent day spent at another daycare left him anxious, which was odd for him. We discovered he had been crated and left alone with the other dogs without supervision quite a bit. I tried to find an alternative and am so happy I stumbled upon Wendy and her crew at OC Paw House. The first day I took my pup, he was reluctant to go in (thought he was getting groomed, which is his least favorite activity). Within minutes of entering OC Paw House, however, I received a delightful video of him playing with another dog in their spacious and lovely fenced yard. They took him on a "field trip" out to a large dog park, played games with him, and let him roam free uncrated. By his 3rd day at daycare, my dog was running to my car to get in and leapt out once arriving at Wendy's. The women who work there are fantastic, gentle, and bonded with him so well. It was magical. He also comes home happy and exhausted - doesn't get much better than that!

She recommended our vet to me as well, and I have been so happy with the vet she suggested! She actually gave multiple recommendations so i have back ups if needed. She's cared for my 3 cats multiple times and I can tell my kitties love her, which is the most important thing! She always sends me pics and keeps me updated while I'm away. She cared for my senior cat when she was sick and in her final week and gave me detailed updates so I knew when to cut my trip short to some home to her, cared for my new kitten, cleaned up broken glass and a lot of kitty barf, cleaned up when ants where going after the cat food, and showed my kitties lots of love! I always come home to empty trash cans, clean litter boxes and happy kitties. She even gave me a housewarming gift and gifted my kitties Christmas treats and toys! Christina is wonderful and I trust her 110% with my kitties and my home. I appreciate her so much because as much as I miss my kitties when away, I have peace of mind knowing she's there to keep them happy and safe! When my kitties broke a vase and she came in to broken glass everywhere, she let me know right away and made sure my cats were OK and had no cuts first, then did a wonderful job cleaning up (I didn't find any glass when I got home!) And she's just a nice person too - whenever I'm on the phone with her, we always end up chatting about her kitties too, so I know she's truly a "cat person" (which not all my pet sitters have been.) Cannot recommend her enough! Be sure to schedule as early as possible, she's so great the holidays and peak vacation times always book up quickly!

When you find a service provider that goes above and beyond, you MUST leave a review! The owner,…read moreCarrie, has taken such thorough care of my dog, Gracie. She did this at a point where I took my dog as a last ditch effort. My dog has extreme allergies (both food and environmental) and scratches ALL day long (if she's not eating or sleeping, she is scratching). Her skin was in terrible condition and she had been ripping her hair out and causing hot spots. When I say I took the dog in horrible condition, I am not exaggerating. Our Vet has given us advice (guesses) and given the dog prescriptions, supplements, injections, and tests....with ZERO improvement! I've spent thousands of dollars trying to get our dog healthy and nothing ever helped! Based on a recommendation to take Gracie to The Spaw I dove in telling myself this is the last time. If this fails, we will just do the best to let her live her life out as comfortably as possible, which is a sad place to be as a dog mom. She's not even 7 years old and she still has a lot of life to live. Meeting Carrie was the best thing that has ever happened to our dog! She recommended some specific testing and said that Shih Tzus often have low Zinc which can lead to skin issues. We had her tested by a Vet and sure enough, her Zinc was SO LOW!!! She made some suggestions about supplements we could give her. At a follow up test, we could see some improvement in her Zinc levels. She also said that it looks like my dog had mange and that Shih Tzus are also susceptible to mites. Our Vet never once mentioned that as a potential cause nor did she test for mange. We did a skin scraping with a different Vet who found no mites, but she suggested we put her on a mite medication for a couple of months. The stuff that came out of/off my dog was disgusting (old die off???)! Through skin cytology, we also confirmed Gracie had serious yeast overgrowth. That was not a mystery to me, because our house smelled so bad! I didn't even like to have people over because it was so embarrassing. Carrie gave Gracie sulfur baths and used some other amazing technologies on her; Ozone baths, red light, blue light, and micro bubbles to name a few. It was a lot of work, but I can tell you for the first time in years, I'm actually optimistic about Gracie's future AND my house no longer smells disgusting. We boarded her for a period of time so we could do some deep cleaning and reset our house before she returned. I'm so glad I made that initial call to The Spaw. Carrie truly loves my dog and my dog loves Carrie! When we drive to The Spaw my dog knows. When we hit Tustin Ranch Road from the 5 Freeway, Gracie starts going crazy! When we get there, she practically jumps out of the car. Thankfully, her harness is clipped in, so she can't get out of her car seat without help. ;) On the subject of Boarding: I love that The Spaw has staff on the premises 24 hours a day and that the dogs aren't locked in crates all day. I am so grateful to see my dog's hair growing back and for her to have noticeably more energy and MUCH less scratching! Carrie clearly loves animals and is a true blessing. She admitted that my dog's issues forced her to do deep dive research to find help for Gracie. I will forever be grateful for the life she has given back to my dog! She is much more than "a groomer!"

Second time boarding with them (12 hours) he was returned to me COVERED in both pee and actual poop on him. Before he was return the second time, the staff told me he had a "little accident" and asked if I wanted him bathed or just wiped down. After already waiting an extra 1.5 hours because of the cut operational hours, I said just wiped down him down and I'll bath him later. It was clearly not a little accident and wasn't even wiped down. The attendant brought him out less than a minute later. Wiping down a dirty, poop covered dog would take longer than one minute. The extent of the odor took 3 baths and he is now dealing with multiple stomach issues results in vomiting and diarrhea. He also was returned with a clearly visible scab and swelling on his nose. Trying to contact management has been extremely disappointing after a very disappointing 12 hr dog boarding visit. The asst. manager seemed to be the only one to take the time to respond and discuss these issues, but very limited to how she can remedy or alleviate some of these issues. I have been waiting for a week now on Janelle, the top Manager of both locations to reach out with fur to we discussions about the incredibly low standards, cleanliness, and overall care for our pets staying there. Seems like Janelle couldn't care less for the well-being of the dogs she is being entrusted to take care of while she is the one in charge from what I've been told.
