Just had our first session with the wonderfully talented Taryn, and couldn't be happier! The cut was the best our Doodle has EVER received! I began using Coat & Collar's mobile grooming service in December 2025 and specifically discussed upfront that my dog does not have a rabies vaccination. I was assured this would not be a problem, and service continued without issue for months. Recently I received a text requesting proof of a rabies vaccine. I explained that this had already been discussed and approved when I became a client. Rather than receiving a phone call from management, representatives from the company arrived at my business and informed me that they would no longer provide service unless I complied with the vaccination requirement. Businesses certainly have the right to change policies, and I would have appreciated a simple phone call explaining that a policy had changed. Instead, the conversation took place in my workplace, in front of my employees, and felt surprisingly confrontational. The representative's tone came across as dictating what I needed to do rather than having a respectful discussion about a change in company policy. It was uncomfortable and, in my opinion, an inappropriate way to handle a long-standing customer relationship. My groomer always did a nice job, but the communication and customer service from this representative left me very disappointed. read more

Upon arrival (before bringing out my pup) Rienna was willing to spend some time speaking with me to understand my pup's personality, anxiety, and what I wanted for his cut. I'll start off by saying my dog does experience general anxiety with groomers. However, with tip paid close to $220 more than I've ever paid and the groomer was unable to cut her face. They also couldn't do her paws and some other things. Now my dog has long hair on her face and I have to get a second groomer to fix it elsewhere. They recommended medicating my dog with Xanax or trazadone which I would prefer not doing. The groomer was nice and professional but feeling frustrated to have paid so much and not receive full service. read more
