We've trusted Discount Pets with our dogs for about 4 years now, and we've always had a pleasant experience. They have competitive pricing compared to the big pet stores, and it's always nice to support small family businesses. They have great communication in letting you know what time to come pickup your pet, which I appreciate as I commute about 20 minutes. They'll listen to your grooming preferences so that you are happy with the final look. Highly recommend
Charlie Bear after his hair cut! As always they did an amazing job! I called in the morning today and luckily they were able to squeeze us in without an appointment. Thank you Discount Pets
Been coming to this place for awhile now and they've always taken great care of my 2 dogs, especially my anxious girl Ryu. The staff here is always so kind to her, even though I know she can be difficult because of her severe anxiety. Prices are affordable and they're very flexible with scheduling, sometimes even taking same day appointments.
The team at Discount Pets loves your pet just like you do! The groomers are not only skilled but also compassionate and friendly. The cuts are on point. Booking is easy and convenient, and the prices won't break the bank. After trying several groomers, we found that their combination of excellent service, availability, and affordability is unmatched.
This place is Amazing! These 2 guys handled my feisty dog incredibly well ! I was recommended by a co-worker friend...and will only be coming here from now on. My multipoo does not like her paws touched at all ! But she was handled with care and received a cute haircut and well trimmed nails. I was really anxious about finding a new groomer for my fur baby since I recently moved in the area but the guys reassured me mid way into the haircut that she was doing well! I highly recommend this place for your grooming needs.
First time taking our barky rescue to a groomer and we weren't disappointed! Ozzie was very understanding of our dogs vocal tendencies and gave him a really cute cut! He figured to do the teddy bear cut on his own and I appreciated that cus I had no idea what type of cut would look good on my dog. They didn't ask about vaccination or anything but ours is fully vaxxed and flea prevented so we weren't too worried. If yours isn't, I'd probably just make sure to ask them what to do. They had us wait in the parking lot to pick up our dog at our car. Ozzie came out to pick him up and was done in 1.5 hours. Dog came out looking fresh and smelling great. Mandu obviously also had a good time there too, he came back so happy and clean.
Lately it's been hard to keep my 17-year-old Shih Tzu happy. He barks in his angry at everything. He was also a hot mess today with crunchy fur around the face from rolling in. God knows what. But there was not a complaint out of him getting groomed today at discount pets. They have graciously cleaned him up quickly and he comes home happy. I've never even gotten a biting report when I know my dog bites. He's not a big fan of pointy scissors near his eyes. After trying almost every other place in a 10 mile radius, I keep coming back here. Thank you for taking such good care of cupcake. read more

$35 for a bath, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, nail trim and short haircut on my yorkie? This place is definitely a bang for its buck. And they are really good about fitting you into their schedule. Been here maybe 4 or 5+ times here now. Super fast service and super clean pupper. Also remember to bring cash to tip your groomer ! Thank you guys for always squeezing Lola in and being patient with her. read more

I have previously come here about 2 or 3 times. And I loved coming here because the male groomers had always been so gentle with my dog when trimming his nails. Unfortunately this time, a young female groomer serviced my dog and cut his quick. I understand that it happens, what bothered me is the fact that she didn't think to tell me that it happened. And judging by how much he was bleeding, I doubt she put anything on it to stop the bleeding. I noticed as I was driving home when my dog wouldn't stop licking his paws and I saw blood spots all over his carseat. Now I'm stuck looking up what to do. As Im sitting here watching him, I've found other nails that she cut too close and she cut the skin between his actual pads. Due to this bad experience, I will not be returning. If you do choose to come here, I suggest sticking with a male groomer. read more

Call the phone number on Yelp and make appointment. Came to the address on Yelp as well and found the location is an abandoned building??!? Call the location in Anaheim to ask the correct address and the reception can't even speak English, only speak Spanish. So you guys only provided service to Spanish speaking people? Reply to owner: I attached the picture of the building I came by. It does say 1132, I'm sure I came to the right address because I also live on 1st St, Santa Ana. I do not mind Spanish speaking people at all. I'm also minority so I do not discriminate people of any ethnicity. What frustrates me is the confusing information. First the address isn't correct. I tried calling the number (714) 714-0475 many times and no one pick up the phone even though I did make appointment beforehand. I called Anaheim location, no one can help me either. Thank you for giving me your cell phone number but I already went to work. I had to drop off my pet back home. It's a waste of my time and that's why I am frustrated. read more

I've taken my dogs here multiple times and it's my go to place to take my Great Pyrenees and my St. Bernard. Every time they come out looking like a whole new dog very clean and white. Whenever I have requests the guy grooming my dogs ALWAYS tries to meet them. I really appreciate him, He does a splendid job. I always do the deshedding for my dogs and they do a really good job in removing excess hair. I would highly recommend and will keep bringing my pups after moving from the area. read more

First experience with discount pets, and it was great. Will be coming back for sure! I was searching for a bunch of groomers near Irvine, but it seems like they're all marking up the prices these days... so I was happy to find Discount Pets. I messaged them via Yelp, and they responded promptly. Scheduled an appointment for a bath and a haircut for couple days later. When I came in for my appointment, they were very nice and welcoming. They made sure to ask what haircut style I wanted for my dog. I showed them a photo as well. After couple hours when they were finished, they sent me a text with my dog's photo, which was a kind gesture :) Picked him up, and he smells nice and looks like a civilized dog again. Forgot to mention, they have great pricing compared to other groomers. Plus they did a great job. I'll be coming back for sure. Highly recommend! read more

They do an absolutely amazing job. Had to get my Great Dane groomed last minute before his meet up at the dog park and they most definitely delivered. I asked if they can cut his nails short cause most places I've gone have never been able to do a good job and they made his coat look super shiny and soft. They cleaned his ears, anal gland expressions, paw cleaning and everything. I loved that they let him be in a cage free environment too. Will definitely be coming back here again. The male staff was also very friendly and I'm glad they were able to accommodate me last minute as well! read more

Definitely not coming back! Couple times taken my dog here and did a great job, but the last time i took her they did a horrible job! I called and said my dog was ready. Im pretty sure when i told them that i was on my way they did a fast cut. When they brought her outside as i was waiting in there car. There was hair falling everywhere from the cut she received. I still payed and gave a tip since im sure her hair was knotted and smelled pretty nice. read more
