I am beyond disappointed with my experience. I dropped off my dachshund for what should have been a routine grooming appointment, and she came home with a tooth hanging out of her mouth. Not once did anyone call me to let me know she had been injured or explain what happened while she was in their care. As if that wasn't upsetting enough, I was the one who had to pay for her veterinary treatment after their negligence. There was no accountability, no transparency, and no effort to make the situation right. I understand that accidents can happen when working with animals, but failing to notify a pet owner immediately is completely unacceptable. If my dog is injured while in your care, I deserve to know right away--not discover it myself after I pick her up. My pets are family, and I trusted this business to care for her safely. Instead, she left injured, and I was left with the emotional stress and the vet bill. I cannot recommend this groomer and would strongly encourage other pet owners to think twice before trusting them with their beloved animals. read more

DO NOT, and i mean DO NOT, take any of your pets here unless you want them to get mistreated and put them through a traumatizing experience. They cant even cut/trim a nail properly. clippers are probably old and bite on the dogs skin. My dog got given "something" to calm him down, never was told exactly what that "something" was. My baby was out of balance and with a shaky head all day and through the night ! Also woke up with bloody eyes. Terrible place and needs to be closed down. Unacceptable Grooming Experience - Please Be Careful Bringing Your Dog Here I brought my French Bulldog here for a basic grooming, and the results were really disappointing. Her nails were left chipped, uneven, and over-filed, and her paw pads looked irritated. Her tail/backside area was also left with shampoo and slightly red, which she didn't have before. I have been bringing my dog here since he was a puppy, It's been nearly 8 years and I have no complaints! They've treated him so well every time and always leaves with the cutest little bows themed to the season. My dog is very happy each time which is wildly different from when we try to bathe him at home and he looks at us with a face of full betrayal until we give him a treat! Dogs can just stink. No matter how well I bathe my dog... That dog funk lingers especially on poodles that require regular grooming. Rescued an old mini poodle. When we got him, his coat was neglected. He was on eye drops too because the fur near his eyes also just got so long and irritated and infected his eyes. His previous groom was last September. I felt bad taking alot of his coat off with my recent visit here because of the recent cold weather, but due to poodle coat which has natural oil to keep their coat water proof... He definitely needed it. After those walks in the rain, this dog stunk! And it was hard to keep up with his daily brushing and weekly need for a bathe. I asked a good friend who owns Corgi where she takes her pup. She has recommended this place. This place doesn't take appt. So I came on a rainy day before Christmas and walked in as soon as their door opened! So glad that I did because after 2hrs, my pup smells like a miracle and he smelled good for about a week. Coat cut short. Nails short. And he looked so happy and Handsome. Best part, it didn't cost me an arm and leg to get this one groomed here.. I am so happy to be referred here and I am telling all my friends not to neglect their dog's grooming needs due to cost. Come bring your pups here especially you poodles! Took my 10 month old puppy here. The first thing the man working didn't speak English. I called the owner, she came right away. His haircut is horrible. They messed up the side of his neck & the mishap on his chest?? Also, his back & sides have shave lines all over. I called the owner later when I realized it was Friday about 7pm. I told her to look at the photos and get back to me in a day or so. She never got back to me. I texted her again, explaining I was very upset. No response. What a joke of a place. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE! I has scheduled an appointment for one of my dogs at 3 and then called to add another one. I took them around 2:50 and I didn't pick them up until 7pm. I called and they sent me to voicemail I had to physically go and they had both my dogs in the cage ready since who knows when. I asked a guy if they were ready and he didn't even know himself. They had to call a lady to see if they were done and then charged me. After picking up my dogs One of them wouldn't stop scratching and I tried petting him and he yelped then I saw under his ear he had all these cuts and all over his body. Not to mention his haircut was super super patchy, he had cuts all over him. My dog is very friendly and he lets himself touch with anyone im sure it wasn't because he wasn't letting himself. My other dog was also super patchy and nonstop scratching and licking paws They did the job but very crappy and I wish I was able to get my money back because this is not acceptable. I had such a bad experience here, I left my dog here for boarding on a Friday. When I arrived it was closed, I had to wait for her for 40 min. At this point I had no choice, I was leaving out of town that night. She told me I could pick him up on Monday as long as it was before 4pm. I texted her at 1:30 pm asking her what time she closed and she replied back with "we are closed already". I didn't want to leave my dog here for another night because she "closed so early" he most likely has been in a cage for so long. I'm questioning if he was going stay inside the cage all day and night until the following day. Was he suppose to pee and poop in the cage? I told her I needed to pick him up, she told me to come at 3pm which I did. Once I arrived, I called her and she ignored my calls so I texted her and she replied back with "the guy left and wont be back until 4". I told her what do I do now and she replied back with "well wait" Now I'm here sitting in my car waiting for someone to come so I can get my dog. I brought my Goldendoodle here and dropped him off at 2pm and he wasn't done till 7:30pm. I wish they would've told me when dropping him off that it was going take that long , so I could've had the option to just bring him back when they were ready for him. When I got there at 7 they had just started to cut his hair. They left him very patchy throughout his whole body and didn't trim the inside of his ears like I had paid extra for them to do. Okay, so I decided to give this place a chance. Loved the prices and the girl who answered my call, seemed very nice. I brought Keanu in at 10. Told her I wanted a bath, a trim and nails clipped. Pretty usual stuff. I was very adamant about "JUST A TRIM". She mentioned that it would take her about 2-3 hours for Keanu to be done. So 3 hours go by and I hadn't heard from anybody, so I decided to call and get a status on him. They said he was done and I was so happy to see the final result. When I got there, they had rock music loudly playing in the background. Which, I get it, you want to listen to music while working but at that level? Dogs are in cages probably scared. She took Keanu out of the cage and I saw his haircut, I couldn't believe what I saw. I could've done a better job! The cut was blotchy, uneven and they shaved his belly! Like he was going in for surgery. I couldn't believe it. My brother couldn't stop laughing at how bad his haircut was. And on top of that they cut one of his nails too short and was bleeding. DO NOT COME HERE. I would give this place negative stars if I could. I've come here before and had no problems. I decided to come back because I trusted this place with my dog and that's really hard for me. I've moved far away and still made the drive to take her here. Guess that was my mistake. I dropped her off around 1-2pm and picked her up at 6pm. I got there like 5 min early and as I waited, I just see the owner going to the smoke shop next door twice leaving the dog on the table unattended. Like ????? Why are you not doing your job and going to a smoke shop? Can't you do that on your own time. Whatever, I let it go. Once I get inside, the other lady cutting my dog's hair doesn't even look like she likes dogs and was so rough to my dog who was just standing still, wagging her tail excited to see me. I pay and leave and that was that. Coming home, my dog seemed so uncomfortable. She was constantly shaking her ears and licking herself. When I go to check, I see that she has rashes all over her body. Her ear has cuts in it, she had a cut and blood on her snout, and her arm has scabs and a rash on it. Like really?? What is going on in there. Do not take your dog here if you care about your dog. Also, I read someone's else's review about being given the wrong dog. Made me a little paranoid. When I got there, they had her collar on the wrong cage. Also, an hour after I was already home from picking her up, I got a call from them telling me my dog was ready. I do not recommend this place at all! My mom brought her dog here and they gave him CBD oil without anyone's permission. When my mom picked up her dog he was so high he couldn't move. He was so stiff he couldn't turn his head , eat or drink anything for about 8 hours. The owner claims that they were passing out samples and she wanted to try the product on a "difficult dog". If our dog was difficult she shouldn't have taken him to begin with. To top things off once he was able to move we noticed he had cuts everywhere, especially in his ears. I took my dog to the grooming place nearby that we usually go to. I don't know what happened but we asked for a short cut like a trim. We came back to pick up our dog which is a pomeranian eskimo mix. The dog was cut extremely short and the coat was gone. They actually made a mistake and cut the dogs ear by accident and he is now bleeding in pain even after the medication they gave him. My dog is now bleeding over the floors at my place and is now being self treated with the medication they gave us. Horrible experience. read more

We called to get our pup groomed and this place took him 30 min before closing. They could have said no. The girl grabbed our dog by his legs and roughly handled him from the crate to the floor. We noticed his eye was shut and for the rest of the day/night his eye was shut. Looks like they not only rushed his grooming and made him look like a greyhound (butchered his hair) but they must have scratched his eye that it is irritated now. Our dog is a happy dog who looks like a teddy bear. Now he has to go to the vet because of carelessness and dishonesty. They could have told us. You could have told us no but you took him in anyway. Despite the negative reviews, we had an amazing experience at happy tails. It was Norman's first time at the groomers so when he was placed in the cage, we were really worried. However, the owner was very accommodating and friendly so we decided to trust this place. We dropped Norman off around 1 and he was ready by 3. Our expectations were blown away. Norman has a bow tie on and his coat was the whitest we've seen. I definitely recommend this place! And the price can't be beat! read more

So I dropped off my pomeranian today for grooming and a hair cut. I told them cut his hair a little bit, don't cut it short and do not shave him. (Duh, he's a Pomeranian. You're not supposed to shave them). When I picked him up he was completely shaved! I was so in shock when they handed him to me. I didn't know how to react so I just grabbed him and ran out into my fiancé's car. In my head I told myself, no, he's not really shaved, it's just cut short, his hair will grow back, it's gonna be fine...my fiancé said damn isn't that cut too much? I told my fiancé no he's not shaved it's okay his hair will grow back. I was just trying to deny everything in my head. It wasn't just his body that was shaved, but his ENTIRE HEAD WAS SHAVED TOO!!!! Professional groomers know better than to shave a Pomeranian. Now my Pomeranian looks like a chihuahua and all his nice soft fur is gone I am so devastated and sad and angry!!!!! I regret taking my dog here, one of the worst decisions I've ever made and I keep beating myself over it! I feel so awful for my poor baby. I don't understand how they can just shave him when I clearly told the guy DO NOT SHAVE HIM! Groomers should already know Pomeranians should NOT be shaved! I've taken my dog here twice. The first time was ok, second was not. It takes about 3 hours for the wash and trim. I have a 40lb Australian shepherd so when I took her in she was placed in their largest cage. I called 3 hours later and they said they hadn't started on my dog yet? What? I don't want her to have to stay in a cage that long. After getting a little upset they said they'd have her done in an hour. When I came to pick her up she was placed in a small cage. She could stand but there was no room for her to turn around. They had the blower in her cage and she was still damp when I picked her up. Twice was enough for me. Ive been coming here ever since I got two dogs about 3 years ago. The lady working the front is nice and they've been doing a pretty good job on my dogs since. I have a medium white Maltese who's an outside/inside dog so he gets dirty pretty quick specially since he's always rolling around wrestling with my other dog a medium fox terrier mix who I don't usually get groomed but I do take him in to get bathed every now and then. So far they've always done a good job when I take them in. The only think I feel they need to work on is their estimated time of completion. Everytime they tell me it's going to be about 2-3 hours and I usually always find myself calling them by the 5th hour seeing if they're ready. I understand it gets busy but if it's on a first come first serve basis and they've been doing it for so long I would assume they'd at least know how to give a better estimated time.
