I came to this PetSmart, admittedly pretty close to closing, but when I left with my new terrarium and was loading my other items in my car, the shopping cart tipped over and the whole tank shattered. I went back to ask if I could simply throw it away somewhere, and the VERY rude employee wouldn't say anything other than we're closed with a horrendous attitude. I wasn't looking for an exchange, I wasn't looking for free stuff, I just didn't want to leave broken glass in their parking lot, and no one was willing to assist at all. This review is based off our experience at Petsmart Groomers, not the store itself. My friend and I came in here to pick up her dog yesterday from the groomers. We were the only ones in there at first. There was one girl in the middle of grooming a dog and the girl at the front desk was in the middle of a call so we waited for her to end the call. During her time on the call, my friend had to run back out to the car to grab the leash. At the same time, a man walked in to pick up his dogs as well. Cramped, small space but no problem, we all just waited there til her call ended to be helped. Now the issue... As soon as she hung up the call, she didn't acknowledge the fact that we were there first or even ask which dog we were picking up or give us the bill!! She instantly turns to the guy and says "picking up ______ & _____, right?" then hands him his bill. By this time, my friend was walking back in. Even after handing him his bill, she still didn't say anything to us. We had to tell the girl we were there to pick up a dog. She then proceeds to pick up the phone and says she has to call another client. My friend had to ask if the paper sitting in the holder was her bill. The girl didn't say anything so my friend just grabbed it to see if her dog's name was on it, and it was. Extremely rude!! You need to be assisting the customer who came in first before the others AND should be assisting them before jumping on another call. The girl who was grooming actually came over to check on us after she had finished grooming and helped us more than the one at the front desk did! Thank you to her. The one on the phone finished her call and then went to play with the dog that was just groomed. I really hate to call out my own people but sometimes you just have to. Please re-train her. That was poor customer service. Oh and my friend had also asked for an additional service to be done but realized at pick up that it was not added. read more

I am always halfheartedly welcomed by the staff upon entering this store. After my feline had a urinary tract issue, we now help her keep in good health with Hill's urinary care food line. I like that I can bring my cat's vet food prescription here and can buy it off the shelves in the special diet section. Just don't forget the card. If you do, you need to get a new one because PetSmart does not keep the card info under any name or a phone number in their computer system. I've been chastised for this! It would be convenient if they record it under your mobile number but they don't. read more

I have to recommend you guys to not come here for grooming any more. The groomer said it took 3-4 hrs for the process then I planned to running errands within that time. Just 2hrs after, they finished & called to pick my dog up. I was running errands outside and told them that I'd be there around 1 hr. When I went there, they charge me $10 more without any notice. They only said that it's their policy with their bad attitude to me. I have to pay extra without expectation or I can't go. When I ask the cashier for the payment and he threw me his bad attitude as well. There are many grooming salons near me but I want to support them. Waste my time and money. Sir Winston's (Poochon) hair was overgrown and he had an appointment with Julie on 5/28/24. I've never used her before; she was friendly, listened to my concerns, and cut his hair down to 3/4". Petsmart says they close at 6 pm - but not according to the manager - when I asked him why I got there a couple of minutes before 6pm only to find the store closed he said he closes early so that his employees can get home earlier. I doubt that 3 or 4 minutes makes a difference to his employees but I can tell you one thing - it sure pisses customers off to see the store closed before its closing time. In this case I was racing to get our constipated and dog who was in pain an enema. If the stores says it closes at 6pm - close it at 6pm. read more

I have been to this specific petsmart countless times, and I usually walk over there on my lunch hour a few times a month. It seems that every time I'm there, there is a reptile that is not being taken care of at all. Today was by far the WORST I've seen. A leopard gecko was extremely dehydrated, malnourished, and had a bunch of stuck shed everywhere. I informed an employee and he just looked at it and was like "I'll let someone know."Looks like the poor thing has been ignored for a while. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this petsmart. The store isn't terrible... but, it feels really desolate inside. You won't find employees anywhere amongst the isles. Only up at the front area, which is inconvenient when you are trying to find something at the back of the store. I have to say, it is underwhelming. The prices are extremely high when you can go next door to Walmart & get the same thing for less, literally. (Besides the live animals.) There is a decent selection of pet goods, but still a bit steep compared to other retailers. I was able to find what I was looking for (for the most part)... but doing a price check against other retailers after the fact made me literally gasp. That's not good, for obvious reasons. So, that and the lack of help kind of killed it for me. It was disappointing the website advertised you carried something at this location that you don't. I still made a purchase, but more out of reluctance to get some sort of satisfaction out of the visit. However, the store was very neat, cleanly & organized. And, I will give credit to the employees assigned to the register area- they were very friendly, efficient & knowledgable. The checkout process was really the best part & interaction I had on any visit. But, I kind of totally learned to go elsewhere when a floor employee I had FINALLY tracked down literally told me to go to PetCo to find what I was looking for! ...that made me laugh. read more

PetSmart on Stapley has traumatized my poor little doggy. It's been a week and she still hasn't been herself. We will never go back there and I wish to file a complaint. In the dead of winter they shaved all her hair off and clipped her private part. All she does since the service is shake and cry. She came home with an allergic reaction, scratching and just not the same dog. PetSmart ruined Christmas for us having to find ways to treat and soothe her. Please save your fury friends from this kind of tragedy. They did nothing to help this situation. If you know nothing about bearded dragon he is malnourished and both have scale rot. I just picked up my shih tzu from this location, and Desi Francis is the woman that shaved him, and I am extremely impressed she was able to get around his face and cut off the knots!! No other groomers have been able to shave my dogs face ever!! I will be using Desi every time I get my dog groomed! I'm so disappointed with PetSmart. They will not allow my 4 month old puppy to participate in their DayCamp because she is a mixed with a bully breed. Funny thing I I adopted her from a PetSmart location and they have no problem taking my money when it comes to purchasing and spending money on my puppy. She is the sweetest puppy who has been accepted and loved at her DayCares she frequents in the area. I am done giving this company my hard earned money because I wouldn't want them to be providing anything to what in their eyes is a "dangerous" breed.
