This is a true community store! Very helpful and friendly staff. I have been coming here since they opened and they always greet me and make me feel welcome. When I get large bags of dog food, they always ask if I need someone to carry it out for me. Last time I rated this store was 5 years ago, so for me and my several time a week experiences here, they have always been and continue to be positive. They also partner with different vets and offer discounted shot and wellness exams and a discount, I get discount coupons from their mailer and they also parter with local rescues. I had to go to the location on Heritage Trace during the recent thunderstorm because I thought I still had one of the Heavenly Hounds calming brownies left for my girl, Luna, but discovered I didn't when the epic thunder started out of nowhere. Luna is extremely afraid of storms and the HH brownies, though they don't stop her trembling, fear, and hiding, are the only things that she will eat that do help get her through storms. And pet supplies plus is the only store near us that carries them. The next closest store that carries Heavenly Hounds brownies is the Hollywood Feed in Keller! When I left the house, the storm had just started and the rain and wind weren't too bad yet. I had about 15 minutes to make it to the store before they closed. About five minutes into my drive, the wind and rain got crazy. I was having to deal with cars stopped in the road, tree limbs, flying across the road, and huge areas with pooling water. If I hadn't been on a mission, it would've definitely made more sense to pull over and wait for the storm to let up. The whole way there I was just hoping that the store hadn't closed early because of the severe weather. When I pulled up, I saw the store lights were still on and there were still cars in the parking lot. I had made it there with about six minutes till closing. I left my car running and jumped out, making my way to the door through the rain. When I got to the door, there were about five employees inside, trying to get the door open. The man with the key was having so much trouble with it. He finally told me to push on the door while he jiggled the key in the lock. Thankfully, it finally opened and I could get in out of the rain. All the employees were so nice and apologizing profusely for the door being locked and me having to wait in the rain. They said that they only locked it because the wind had picked up so much that the doors were swinging on the hinge and they were afraid they were going to break off of the hinges! I told him it wasn't a problem and explained why I was there while making my way to the aisle to grab a couple of the brownies. On my way to the register I let them know how quickly the storm had picked up and what I had just driven through, including probable small hail, all because I was a crazy pet parent! I suggested if they didn't have to leave right away that they should wait it out in the store before heading home. One of the employees said I should probably wait there until it let up, but I reminded her that I had my Luna at home waiting for me, probably under a chair somewhere. The man ringing me up was so nice! He said he totally understood and that he was giving me the "crazy pet parent discount ". This was a crazy trip, but the employees all made the experience better by being so friendly and understanding. I'm definitely grateful that Pet Supply Plus carries the Heavenly Hounds brownies, and understands crazy pet parents like me! read more

Love this store! My family includes several members of the canine breed. We love our girls and want to ensure they have long, healthy, happy lives. Pet Supplies Plus, Heritage Trace is our go to location. The store is well stocked with food, toys, treats, medications, shampoos and conditioners , etc, etc for most small pets. The staff if ALWAYS friendly and eager to help and answer questions. I have some pretty finicky dogs at times, so I often have to search for "something different" when they suddenly turn their noses up at the food they have eaten for weeks and months. It can be a real pain. But, Pet Supplies Plus has a huge, healthy variety to choose from and willing staff to help me search and research. Sometimes I have to bring the open.bag back when my ladies turn their noses up to the new. The store will assist in searching for an acceptable replacement and provide a refund for the return. I love this store. I love the people who work here. I love the products they carry. I feel it is a safe and loving environment for my ladies when they go new toy or treaty shopping with me. I placed a online order for delivery on the 21st and according to their website it would be delivered by 8 pm on the 22nd. I called the store at 7 pm on the 22nd to verify it would be delivered by 8 pm, since last my order last month was not delivered and I had to go to the store and pick it up on the 3rd day. I was placed on hold for 15 mins so I hung up and called back, the clerk had forgotten she placed my on hold not a big deal I have made that same error myself so I wasn't mad. The clerk transferred me to the manager who said that they had left me a voicemail because two cans of the dog food was out of stock after checking my phone there was not a voice mail from them I let the manager know that as well. I told the manager I would just come to the store to pick it up since we live only 2 miles away but I would like the tip amount removed since I was coming to pick it up. The Manager told me he would just cancel the entire order. The order was sitting in the cart they have for for pickups and deliveries the clerk who initially answered the phone told me that she sees my order in the cart, I let the manager know that but he said well they will just put the items back on the shelf, I don't understand that part since they had the order ready. This happened last month as well but last month I was able to pick it up, I think the manager got a attitude when I said I wanted the tip removed I don't know why he would I was very nice the during the whole phone conversation. I told the manager that it doesn't make sense I cant just come pick it up but if I had to walk up and down the isles to select everything again I would just go to Petco, he said we if that's what you want to do. We run a foster and spend between 120-300 dollars a month with Pet Supplies Plus sometimes a bit more, unfortunately something has happened at this store location and they cannot be trusted to deliver on time or at all unfortunately, because of the interaction with the manager just canceling the order and putting the product back on the shelf we will not be doing business with Pet Supplies Plus going forward. read more

Old woman at front is very rude and condescending. Even at the managers. Apparently she worked there so long, the younger management is scared of her and lets her run her ever widening mouth. Shows what kind of establishment this is. Look at the "store brand" and see how that trash is priced $20 more than REAL, GOOD name brand. I started visiting PSP Stores in Florida because of the monthly coupon and quality FROMMS food. Here in TX this location doesn't carry much FROMMS product at all, but there is a nice new dog wash and wide aisles compared to the other boutique pet feed store. The staff was welcoming each time I visited, but once a female employee approached and distracted my dog while I was try to shop and had my dog in a down/stay. That should be discouraged, the other employees didn't engage/distract my dog without permission. She then made excuses for herself. That's just not okay, and I'll be more firm discouraging the employee next time. read more

This PSP store fed them, supplied toys and treats, leases, collars and when they where stinky and dirty we were always welcomed with open arms to come get a bath. I went here for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! They had a great selection on dog foods and many other supplies for many different pets. The staff were very knowledgeable and very helpful. One of the employees even put the large, heavy bag of dog food I was buying into my basket for me (without me asking them to). I was pleasantly surprised! I was even more surprised when, without me asking, another employee came up and picked up the large bag of dog food I had just purchased and said he would carry it to my car for me. A friend in Lewisville just told me of a service that Pet Supplies Plus offers. I just tried it. SELF-SERVICE Dog Wash! Amazing, simple, inexpensive, easy. I've attached prices for the various plans they offer. The more you wash your dog the cheaper it is. For instance, you can wish your dog for $10. With their lowest level plan, you can wash your dog 3 times for $21 (A $9 savings). But wait, there's MORE!! The first wash (in addition to what I just said) is FREE! The savings are more with the bigger plans. I was excited they also carry the dog food my doggy eats, Merrick Grain Free Real Chicken + Sweet Potato Recipe Dry Dog Food, 25-Pound. They offer it at the same price ($53.98) I can get it for on Amazon Prime. I'd much rather give my business to a local merchant whenever possible! The dog wash has two wash tubs up high and another two down lower for the larger dogs. Everything is included with the wash - towels, shampoos, aprons and blow dryer. Another reviewer rated the customer service experience low. I found the opposite to be true. Several employees offered to help me and the manager, Brandon Keel, spent considerable time with me explaining the store. read more

This store has an amazing selection of dog food. It's nice to finally see a supply store in the area that sells very high-end quality foods such as origens and Acana. Much better than Petsmart or Petco. Now, they do sell some pretty crappy foods to, but they're the only pet supply store in the area that sell the highest quality foods as well, besides McDonnell feed. I love that they don't sell live animals from mass producing companies. I was greeted as soon as I came through the door and everyone was very friendly. read more
