Big store - has all you need. Good prices to boot. Came in for galvanized wire fencing and Andrew gave us some great options. He led us to zip ties and then consulted us on a grinder. Pets on leashes made it a good outing for us. Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable. read more

Went up for some propane and requested fill up on the app. Few minutes later Patti tells me that the guy was on lunch. Understandable to a point because I would assume more than one person would know how to fill tanks. Had more errands to run plus had to pick up my kid from school. Returned 3 hours later to be told that the guy who fills tanks was gone for the day... gas isn't cheap just to be driving around town guessing when it's gonna be good for them to fill tank for the customer. Maybe rethinking my loyalty to TSC and just take my business somewhere else. read more

They have a huge sign out front that says " We fill propane" however, more times than not, they don't have anyone to fill tanks, there is no one certified to fill tanks, they are out of propane, or there is a mechanical issue. If you ask them to fill a tank, they act put out that they have to do. Time to go back to NAPA for propane, this store sucks. read more

TSC is one of those places on my rotation when I'm looking for something odd. In this rotation is Harbor Freight, (Jabo's) Ace Hardware and Northern Tool. On this visit we were looking for tires. Tires to repair a hand truck. They had what we wanted, but my friend was not convinced the price of two tires was worth the expense versus just buying a new (better) hand truck. For the record, a new tire was around $10 and a new tube about the same price, so that's $40 total. However there was also a complete tire, wheel and tube available for $10 (in a different part of the store). The hub was the wrong size, but it was a more economical way to get the tire and tube. My friend was not convinced the repair was worth $20 either, so we left empty handed. Bottom line: New store closer to home with all the great stuff I expect from TSC. read more

When I walked in, everyone greeted me warmly. Wendell and two other gentlemen in the store were very friendly and helpful. I failed to note the other gentlemen's names. I attempted to return a defective submersible well pump that was under warranty. The pump failed after 14 months, and the warranty on the pump was still valid for an additional 22 months. The store refused to honor my warranty. The manager on duty (Shellye) was very rude and wasn't helpful. After two calls to the manufacturer with no luck, it looks like I'm out $500. I will never give this store or any other Tractor Supply my business again. read more

Their prices are good and they have an interesting mix of merchandise. Their employees, however, are useless. When we asked a simple question on the sales floor ("Where are the dog chews?"), the lady pointed in the general direction of the pet supplies and walked away. We then stood in a long line (it's 2pm on Sunday and they had ONE register open). The cashier called over the loud speaker for "back-up cashiers" to come help. No one did. She was slow, too. When we finally got to the register I asked why they only have one register open and why no one came to help her, she answered (in a snarky way with a PO'd look on her face, like "how dare you ask me that"), "They must have been helping other customers." Usually overpriced for items you can find elsewhere. Employees are usually not that knowledgeable about anything. But here is my big compliant. I bought some wrap around post insulators, a big failure. Electric fence was grounding through them. Went to make a post to help others on the product. My submission did not meet their standards, LOL yep I did not give it a sterling review! Here is my review they refused to post: "Sheep where getting out and need to fix it fast. Bought these to insulate as my hot wire runs past steel pipe posts and at ends of run. Well after replacing t post insulators, checking with two chargers. I was getting no more than 2.8 kv and than 0 kv. After sliding on some 3/4" flex elec conduit over these, my hot wire is back up to 8.0kv. All i can figure is as you tension it cuts into the plastic to the aluminum reinforcement strip. Than all you have is a 64th(if that) of plastic between it and the pipe. Built in short after tensioning your wire. SO DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP PRODUCT!! BUYER BEWARE!!! I would rate it 0 if I could have. Should have known better than to buy Chinese." Product was/is: American FarmWorks Wraparound Electric Fence Post Insulator. Calling Premier 1 Supplies and trying to figure out the problem for almost a week, taught me a lesson. Buy from Premier who has quality products, and save yourself a lot of GRIEF. read more

I've been coming here regularly since abandoning my local ma and pa feed store. I was hesitant at first to go chain store, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's pretty much exceeded expectations in every way except perhaps price, where it meets expectations. My minimum expectation is basically your hassle-free, attitude-free experience. I generally know what I want, rarely want to ask something...and when I do want to ask, I want a simple answer and be on my way. Expectation met, than it's like 4 stars for service. So many times, the staff has exceed that expectation by either offering some small extra info -- not enough for me to be wishing they would cease and desist, and not so little that I felt like they were not trying -- but just right. In some cases they've really gone out of their way. I bought some outdoor furniture there a few days ago and returned today to pick it up. From the purchasing, which involved answering questions, talking prices, quality, delivery options, etc... to the pickup, which involved me renting a trailer, be a newb in renting a trailer and being ignorant generally, asking for help to load the stuff, etc... I'm sure I tried the man's patience. At all times, everybody was awesome. I even came back to return one piece that was broken -- no hassle exchange. The prices aren't bargain but they aren't gouging you either. I find them comparable to other places. The quality of the tools sold exceeds Harbor Freight / Northern Tool, and so the price is higher too. They have a free magazine with advice and tips on general countryish things, sales, etc and local events like farmers markets (with free hot dogs). Overall, can't beat it and glad I'm in the neighborhood. read more

I've shopped at many Tractor Supply Stores, and this is the worse. It is a new store, and I think they had trouble staffing it. The staff are predominantly younger, and don't seem to understand the register. The side lot checkout guys were also young and didn't know what the product was they were supposed to get.
