Favorite rack and it's fun going to south lake. I found a few great shoes for work. They had a lot of nice Nike and other styles of athletic shoes. I picked some chill black Nike but decided instead to get these funky orange ON cloud shoes for my new gym. The fit and comfort is so good. Nordstrom Rack is one of those stores that I've been familiar with for years. The layout of the store is organized, clean and spacious. This location isn't far and they have a rotating selection of bags, clothes, shoes, make-up, jewelry, perfume etc. I typically come here to check out sales on shoes. I ended up finding comfortable sandals that I bought in three colors. The price was reasonable and the quality is good. The customer service at check-out was good as well. I look forward to returning. read more

I saw this large Nordstrom from Southlake Boulevard and had to stop. Today I felt I absolutely positively needed a new purse and wallet. Well, today wasn't my day. They did have a lot of nice purse merch, just not what I was looking for. Halloween stuff is out and on the shelves. But because it's August, I had to walk on by. The store is laid out well and easy to get around. The layout actually reminded me a lot of TJ Maxx. I didn't leave empty handed, as it just so happens they have a large area of shoes. Upon entering this establishment, I had returned from a previous trip which I was not prepared for the type of shoe I ended up wanting. For context, those with at minimum, an intermediate level of knowledge regarding shoes, wearing "dress socks" to try on a pair of tennis shoes [or slip-ons] will result the same as wearing "cushioned athletic socks" to try on a pair of dress shoes: improper and more often than not, uncomfortable fit. I came this time wearing one pair while carrying the other. After finding the pair of shoes I needed to be certain of, i tried both shoes on wearing both pairs of socks. For the size 10 1/2, the left shoes was loose and slipped while walking whereas the right shoes fit perfectly with either pair. The size 10 shoe had the same issue with the right shoes while wearing either pair yet the left shoe fit perfectly. Mind you, during this time, I am being monitored closely and personally by undercover security throughout this shopping endeavor. Have you ever heard of a shopper attempting to stuff shoes in socks and.walk out? Or was something else going on here.. Brushing this off, as unprofessional and distasteful as this was, especially for a major department store who prides itself on customer service [and against my better judgement] I decided to ask a store associate for assistance. At first she was somewhat helpful by checking both pairs of shoes to ensure each were the correct size in the respective boxes. Both were. As she didn't have an answer to this question and neither did her manager after she called him or her on her radio... Hell how could the manager be? Was too damn busy watching me on camera to answer if two pairs of shoes could be defective. She did however find a device for measure to measure their feet. It was for women but still somewhat useful though men and women's feet are very different. What was very rude of her however, if a customer approaches an store associate for assistance whether he is spending $20 or $200, you do not tell the customer "you can go check the other benches" for the mens' device. Well no shit. What are you hired to do as a sales floor associate? Irrelevant if the store is busy or not. During peak times on Black Friday, not one customer will accept being spoken to in such a manner, even the thieves who should be followed would have some choice words to say to her in person. Walk into a Zegna or Louis Vuitton store, and watch what happens to an associate giving the same treatment. This wasn't just her, this was a team effort. If any associate working for me, regardless of gender or sex, that associate [and the other contributors to this heinous experience] would be sent home with the highest level infraction, if not fired on the spot. My point is, how the hell is Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack any different from a department store you would find on Rodeo Dr.? If this store could get a 0, I would be bitching about not having " -1 " as an option. This location will have a significant drop in business. read more

This Nordstrom has really suffered since they moved the check out counter. It used to be so slick. I used to be able to swipe my card at a mini counter on an associate's hand held device. Tonight after work it took longer than 25 minutes to get a gift card. The line was so long it wrapped around the display. Between 2-3 associates were doing check out. There were 4-6 other associates on the floor hanging ip merchandiseup while the check out line grew and grew. None had check register authority. The manager in charge's hands were tied by corporate. This location of Nordstrom Rack is awful. It's unorganized, dirty, and a total disaster. On a visit about a week ago I used the ladies restroom and it was the nastiest thing I've been in, including sporting venues and gas stations. Overflowing trash, sanitary cans full, and trash all over the floor. The store itself was a huge mess. Clothing all over the place, merchandise on the floor, products overflowing every rack. Impossible to shop. Will not be shopping here again. read more

I have experienced some of the worst customer service I've ever seen at the Southlake Nordstrom Rack. I love Nordstrom, and I want to like Nordstrom Rack, but I will never go back there for any reason. Retail can be a tough job, I know. I have always been courteous to the Rack employees, but today encountered another unhappy and very hostile checker. I don't recall ever being treated so rudely. I'll drive the 30 miles to an actual Nordstrom store to avoid that mistreatment. read more

When you're out of town, especially for business, you've only got so much clothes in your travel bag. If on your first day of your business trip you happen to get your khakis covered in mud, well you've got to get some more clothes. This happened to me on my first day in DFW. I needed some affordable pants quick! I have a nordstrom CC and I do a lot of shopping at Nordstrom Rack so when I found this location I was very happy. Haven't been in a while but need a dress for my sons wedding. Hoping to find something reasonably priced but outstanding look for this once in a lifetime experience. This is a destination wedding in January in Quebec so hoping to find some thing appropriate even though it's summer clearance time and fall weather outfits at the other department stores I have looked at. I wear a woman's size 12 shoe, and they have a huge selection of options. I've been to a couple more in the metroplex and the one in Southlake, by far, has the largest amount off shoes for larger sizes. Of course they have good deals on other merchandise. Nice area of Southlake . read more

If I could give this store a zero, I most definitely would! We were in the store on December 28, 2018 and not only was the entire store a complete disaster, but a pair of boots that my daughter wanted so badly were completely torn up. I'm talking like SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN TICKETED FOR SALE TORN UP! One boot had a missing heel cover, the material was so chewed up on the heel and on the side of the boot, it literally looked like it was a chew toy for an animal. Rather than represent Nordstrom and Nordstrom, these boots should have been put in the garbage! How someone accepted these and put them out on a shelf for sale is besides me. The selection at Nordstrom Rack doesn't even compare to the awesome variety at Nordstrom, but if you search through the merchandise you are bound to find some great stuff here. I was surprised to find how big the shoe selection was. It seemed they had a lot of variety in every size. I found a few items here that were pretty reasonable in price. The prices weren't amazingly discounted, but they were discounted enough that it still felt like a good deal. The service at the register was great and the line moved quick. I wish they carried more brands here though, especially in the handbag department. It's fun to come here searching for the perfect item. The hunt is part of the fun! read more

Southlake Town Center is booming! There are so many new stores and Nordstrom Rack is a great addition to this little hot shopping outlet. The store itself has all kind of great deals, better than most Nordstrom Racks I've been to. It's located to the left of Central Market. The Jeans were well stocked, the deals on the Rock and Republic and True Religion Jeans were down to $70-$80 dollars which is definitely a deal down from their original prices. They a great assortment of shirts from all kinds of different designers. You cold and need a nice beanie and fashionable man scarf? They definitely got it too. Their shoe section is extermely large with at least 2 huge shelves of each half shoe size. The perfume and cologne section was well stocked with sample smelling papers to test out any products you wished to sample. The women's section was even larger than the men's if that helps you ladies out. The customer service in this store was also superb, they weren't too snooty. Very approachable and also helpful without being too overbearing. This will definitely be a stop for some deals every time I decide to shop or pass through Southlake! I decided to try Nordstrom out versus Neiman Marcus Last Call which is where I usually shop. The deals are already discounted so the price is as is as oppose to NM which discounted by percentages depending on the brand. It wasn't a bad shopping experience nor was it the best. I know there seem to be alot of shoppers but it seemed like all the clothes were all over the place. I thought the presentation would be nicer more reflective what I am accustomed to at Nordstrom and the sentence sounds snobby sounding but it is how I viewed it if someone cares about presentations. I could care less just give me the deals. I take it alot of potential buyers were going thru clothes. It really reminded me of Ross not to say that is bad at all because I like Ross too. I like the deals for the most part is what I aim for. I did like how the shoes were laid out with athletic shoes in its area by sizes. I did find one I liked at a decent price but again nothing like a crazy bargain find. I did find some decent deals, but not crazy bargains. I think the check out lines could be better placed with one lady using an oversized hand while ingenious to get customer's attention. She had to direct me to where the line started and was not my intent to cut lines. There wasn't much of a customer service interaction but they had alot of customers browsing and I was able to find what I wanted. That is why my rating was average since my experience shopping was not wow nor was it bad either. read more

Shoe heaven. Ok, EXPENSIVE shoe heaven, but still! No where else can my big size 10 foot find the selection - at least 3-4 rows of every size! Great plus size clothes section too! This is a pretty good rack, they have a great selection of clothing for women and a excellent shoe selection in a large range of sizes. I love their PJ's from here and they have some good choices on the clearance rack. Warning, the lines are usually long to check and the people working are not very friendly. Tamara, the store manager is the reason this store earns my 5 stars. She's thorough and fabulous in what she does and truly exemplifies excellence in customer service. I've had 2 different incidents that involved Haute Look and every time Tamara took care of everything. She even called after to make sure I was satisfied with the service. I appreciate all you do, Tamara! I absolutely love this place. You can find some of the latest styles and designers, some right from the runway. The prices are unbelievable. Everything from fragrance, sunglasses, cosmetics, to lingerie. You'll find lots of great buys. Love, love, love! Clearance racks are AMAZING! My husband and I just found a ton of really great stuff here and we both have picky tastes. Great selection of tops and dresses for me and tops for him. He did not find bottoms, but their shoe selection wasn't bad either. I wear size 5.5 so sometimes it's difficult to find that size at retail stores, but Nordstroms Rack actually had a decent offering. This will definitely be our first stop when shopping together! read more

Went there to get a suit. found a Hugo Boss suit about 40% of retail cost. The tailor helped me find the right size, measured me to tailor it. Only cost $35 to get it tailored. Picked it up a week later. Perfect. If you want a good suit go here. Staff = Very friendly they are always smiling and are actually working instead of standing around like most retail places my wife drags me too. I like this place. read more

As far as deals go, this place rocks. It's essentially an elevated TJ Maxx. You can get great deals on clothes, accessories, and even bath/beauty products - I like that you can get Bliss products for over 50% off the retail price. A few things I could do without are: The crowds - pretty standard fare on the weekends, so be prepared to brush elbows with other bargain hunters. The density of the merchandise - some areas offer a bit more space than others, but negotiating a path between the racks can sometimes take a certain skill. The uber annoying membership card pitch when you check out - no, I don't want to sign up for your credit/debit card that you cleverly market/disguise as a reward card. I don't care how many $20 off coupons you want to give me or how many points you say I'll earn, I'm not interested. So please just let me pay for my purchases using my boring AMEX and be on my way. read more

Whenever I need something fashionable and fair prices in a flash, I run to Nordstrom Rack. I can always find something that fits well, has a great style to it and is ready to go. I spotted a jacket I really wanted at my local Nordstrom Rack, but they did not have it in my size, so they gave me a list of stores that had a few of the item in stock. I called a few of them, and this store not only had it in my size and mailed it to me (for a $10 shipping fee), but everyone I talked to (the operator, floor clerk and checkout clerk) was very nice and helpful on the phone. read more

I absolutely love shopping at Nordstrom Rack, but this location isn't my favorite. The staff is never very willing to help unless I'm checking out. Even then, they aren't always the friendliest. I love nordys racks! I have shopped at various locations for years. This one is a fabulous location just across from the square. There is a ton of parking and the store needs it because it is always busy! The layout is a little crowded and they tend to overfill the racks at this one but if you take the time you will find a bargain on one of them. I recommend every girl shop their purses, shoes, and under garments. You find great bargains. Watch for their clear the rack sales when they knock 25%off clearance, I've bought great quality tops for 4$ before! read more
