Being really nervous about working with contractors, I spent a week getting estimates from a bunch fo different guys. Tim was the one with the best price and he just made it sound so easy. (that's when you know that they know what they are doing) So all my drywall is repaired now, and I am very happy with the results. Someone had actually quoted me 3 x the price and said they would do it in a week, when Tim said it would take a full day. The only reason I didn't give him 5 stars is because I've never had any drywall repair before. He was on time, he did what he said he was going to do, I was able to trust him in my home, alone. He works fast and gets the job done right. Place is clean. Couldn't be happier and would recommend him to anyone that needs drywall/ random things done in their home. P.s. He was able to fix a baseboard that had leak damage and part of a door frame that nobody else seemed to know what to do with other than rip the whole thing off. I liked him so much that I had him do some painting. At the moment, he's not done yet, but I'll be sure to review his painting in my next review. Need some work around the house, Call Tim! Oh, and he'll be happy to give you his references, just ask. I talked to them and they all love working with him. And.. he always answers his phone/messages. What can I say!? These things are important!

His basic explanations of product uses and quality left me more confused and unsure of what I shouldn't have done in my home improvement tasks and upon looking at the online presence for the store so see his ignorance extends beyond paint and primer and into human decency where he seems to just not care how gross and oppressive his public image is. Where's the zero star button?

    Worst customer service experience in the window and door department. We visited Lowe's in Euless…read moreyesterday with plans of ordering two storm doors. Apparently they were short staffed because we waited for 45 minute to get assistance in the windows and doors department after we had to walk the store looking for someone to help. The person who was available to help was on the other side of the door chatting with another employee. Since he did not work in the door department and was not trained in that area, he had to solicit the assistance of a manager on duty (Rudy). Rudy was nice and helped up select the doors. He explained he would se up a consultation first at which time the doorway would be measured and at that time we would order the doors to our specification. He said it is a "free consultation", however the installation fee would be $169. This was all acceptable to us. He set the consultation with a representative for the next day at 2:40p.m. I received a confirmation via email. I changed my work schedule in order to accommodate this consultation. The day of the appointment I received an email stating the appointment was cancelled with no explanation. As I said I lost a day of work which caused me to lose income. I tried to call the representative (Hammad) and left a voice mail. I also texted him with no reply. I called the store and spoke to a woman who described a completely different process for ordering the storm doors. She said the consultation fee is $30 and needed to be pain in advance. She said the appointment was cancelled because the fee had not been paid. As I mentioned, the manager told us the consultation was free and did not charge us a fee. I asked her why the manager was not aware of the procedure and she did not know. The fee would not have been a problem had we known it was necessary. She said she would get in touch with Hammad and have him call me back. Hammad did call back and describe a completely different process explaining that the doors needed to be paid for prior to his visit. We were told by the manager all of that would be taken care of during the visit from the sale consultant. Also he did not have any appointments available on the day the original appointment was set. It appears that there is no cross training between departments. Also it was evident there is a breakdown in communication among employees. Even the manager on duty did not know how to sell a couple of storm doors. It was a lot of waisted time and income lost from my job. Because of the lack of communication and poor quality of service we lost trust and confidence that Lowe's would do a professional job.

I have shopped there for 12 years, perhaps 2-300$ a year. I brought in a blank key I had purchased many years ago and asked them to make a copy of my house key. They told me I had to buy a new blank or they couldn't do it. People shop at places like Jabos to get the service you can't get at the box stores. The young man couldn't figure out how to operate the machine and wouldn't admit it. Then he got a lady who gave me the "you have to buy from us" routine. Neither were friendly. Then the manager finally came and gave me the same routine. Finally I asked him if he was going to be able to help me. I asked the question in a way that got to the point and made him decide. He stammered around and never did answer. At that point I did say "shit" to which he got immensely offended and started pointing his finger at me. "The new machine won't let us". Surely there is an override and in the rare event that there isn't, I hope the owner takes note. Needless to say, but I won't be returning to the local small business because of two things. Poor attitude and poor service. As the manager of a small store, you have to make big decisions. they made me feel as though I was at one of the big box stores. The sad thing is that I shop there because I had come to enjoy and expect the service, in a world that service is hard to find. Before you judge me, let me ask you. If it was your store which decision would you make. Make a key or 4-5$?
