I started noticing little bugs in my dogs bowl and immediately dumped it. I open the airtight container where I store it, saw about 5 more at first. Then go to the remainder of the bag, many more bugs. Absolutely fcking disgusting. It also smells HORRID. I am so disappointed after spending that money on the giant bag that it is full of bugs and smells disgusting.

My step daughter is always game for a trip inside to see what they have in the animal room. Sometimes there's a baby pig, or tiny chicks. They don't mind you petting the little guys. Other than that, idk. Lots of animal feed and other country stuff. I think I must feel in here they way a non-musician feels in Guitar Center. It's all kinda background-ish blah-blah farm items I don't really have a use for in my suburban lifestyle. Still I've been in here a half dozen times to see the animals.

My wife has an injury to her thumb that she had a procedure in TODAY and when we told her the price was wrong - she asked my wife to go and take a picture !? She does not work at Atwoods and at that - still had to call a manager to confirm. Which made the experience even worst. ALSO - my cats love the treats from Atwoods, I almost bought 5/6 bags of their favorite treats and they were ALL expired. Every single pack - there was even some that expired in 2025!!! I will not be returning here for anything because now I cannot trust them and they're right around the corner which is terrible. Now I'm thinking how much of the treats did I buy without checking that I fed my cats. I just think it's ridiculous overall. When addressing these issues the manager, Stephanie, asked me if I still wanted to buy the cat treats???? Why in the world would you still sell them is my question. I used to work at a pet store and we would NEVER sell anything expired EVEN if the person wanted a discount. THEN with the dog food she says "I can't honor that because then I'll get in trouble" - why is she a manager if she's incapable of making managerial decisions especially since this was a mistake on their end PLUS the cashier admitting to things being in wrong places and things being incorrectly priced. Since switching to EarthWise, we couldn't be happier. They always do an amazing job, everyone is incredibly kind, and Caitlin has my big fluffy guy looking his best in about two hours. I should have written this review a year ago, but what finally prompted me to do it was an experience I had recently with one of my foster dogs. He's a 5-month-old puppy who had spent his entire life tied outside on a rope, so he was absolutely terrified of leashes and unfamiliar places. He would plant his feet and refuse to move. At 55 pounds, he's already a strong boy! I managed to get him close to the front door, but he simply would not go inside. The staff was unbelievably patient and compassionate. They brought out treats to encourage him, but when he was too scared to take them, they never rushed him or forced the situation. Instead, they gave him the time and space he needed to feel as comfortable as possible. When it became clear he wasn't going to walk in on his own, they gently picked him up and carried him inside so he could get his bath. After he was all cleaned up, they refused to let me pay. That level of kindness and empathy meant so much to me--and even more to a puppy who had already had such a rough start in life. I would have happily paid extra for the care they showed him. Businesses like this deserve to be recognized, and I will continue to support EarthWise and recommend them to anyone looking for groomers who truly care about both pets and their people.

Additionally, we pointed out one tank where one of the fish was being incessantly bullied and another tank with a dead fish, and all she goes is "hmm yep looks like it" and then walks back to the front and continues talking to her regulars. Absolutely no help and her lack of concern for the fish conditions makes me wary about purchasing anything from there. Ended up going to another store that had incredible service and I now have a wonderful set up. Would NOT recommend this place and certainly wouldn't ever spend a dime here out of principle.

Which she never explained a different system, just sounds like they seem to take a ton of dogs in the morning and then just pump them out when you can get them done. The gym is set up to be very safe and my dog was able to work on his skills amid a lot of distractions. The coolest thing is that you earn little rings as you and your dog learn master new skills.
