This is no longer a Feed Store...just a warehouse. They have no store front presence. If you make an "appointment" to pick up feed when they schedule you, don't expect them to be there for the appointment. I waited over 45 minutes for the appointment before I decided it wasn't worth the wait. The warehouse operations take precedence. I would NOT recommend this store to anyone! read more

This place had me at Hello!! Greeted at the door and was treated to a walk around of the store. Amazing staff. They own two of the most amazing cats!! Both of them are real "talkers" and wanted my attention. I wanted to take both of them home. Those cats are a great conversation piece for patrons. They added additional character to this hometown store. They have everything at this store. Specially items for people that love chickens! They had 5 large troughs with healthy baby chicks. This place is amazingly clean too! I found iron skillets by the Lodge Company. Those are almost as good as the old skillets from the good old days. The price was reasonable too. I saw halters for horses, with varies colors to choose from. They offered lots of items for the local farmer. I'd shop here often if I lived out this way and needed basic farm items. She also explained in detail how to start and take care of red production chicks. She saved me 15 percent (I believe) by letting me know that what I picked out, there weekly ad had a even better deal. They have an ample selection of feed products for horses, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, poultry and more. They have good quality hay and alfalfa at prices that are on par with other retailers. Delivery available. Inside they have a large selection of dog and cat food, and pet supplies. There is a good selection of products to care for your farm animals and pets too such as shampoos, conditioners, de-tangling sprays, fly sprays, hoof oils/moisturizers, medical supplies, grooming supplies, bandages, supplements, and more. They have a small room for tack, mostly used stuff sold on consignment. Lost of kitschy country cute accessories for the home and barn too. In the spring they have chicks for sale and a excellent selection of vegetables, fruits, and flowers to plant a garden or landscape. Staff is very nice, friendly, and helpful. Delivery is available. Big strong guys on hand to carry things out to your vehicle so you don't need to break a sweat. The store is located directly next to a gas station and they actually have a glass door so customers can walk between the two businesses. They are separate businesses though, so you'll need to pay for goods on the appropriate side. read more

My husband and I love this store. We recently relocated to the area and have been getting acclimated/figuring out where everything is around here. The staff is friendly and helpful, and has provided us with other local recommendations for various things. We inherited 25 chickens with our new house and they have provided us a ton of advice and tips for them (first time chicken owners here). They are quick to provide advice, a smile, and a treat/pets to our dog when we bring him. Weve been in quite a bit and not once have we ever felt upsold" into buying more expensive or things we dont need- which is appreciated. Actually if anything they work to help save us money when they can! This place is right around the corner from our house too so you cant beat quality care and service, right around the corner. This will continue to be our go-to feed and hardware store, we have been really pleased. read more

I've been a few times as needed as my backup store, and the experience has improved since my last review. There has been a a more consistent effort to engage with customers at the register, which was one point of contention in the past. Additionally, there are usually helpful gentlemen to load in the back -- previously, it was sometimes hard to find someone after your purchase. I say usually, because on a recent visit, the young woman at the register could not find anyone to load, and she had to get my items from inside the warehouse and pull them for me -- I offered to do it, but she said only employees could go inside. read more

Called for a price on bags of feed, quoted $15.50 Tuesday afternoon, charged $17.50 Wednesday morning. I hope they enjoy the $2 a bag, as we are no longer doing business, could have been $ hundreds over time. read more

My first time in the store I walked around for at least 30 minutes and not one employee said hello, or made eye contact with me. When I left the woman at the front register did not even say goodbye. And I was the only customer in the store! I did not see much variety in their feed or pet section. I will not be going back. read more
