I spent hours today trying to track down a utility trailer. I called numerous companies and locations. I won't bore you with all the fails at the other locations. I will tell that not only did this location have what I needed they have a stellar group of people. Thank you too the person who checked me out, to the person who helped me on the phone and helped check me out, and finally to the store manager who loaded the heavy boxes in my car. First, there are NO ASSOCIATES on the floor to assist. Secondly, they have these " Take One " tickets that instruct you to present to a sales associate. They have a ton of the tickets, I had to wait in line to present to an associate only to be told "we been sold out of those ". They why not remove tickets? Why not place a sign to say that ? Customer service has always been piss poor at Harbor Freight. read more

The staff was very helpful. I saw them help two different people look for a cheaper price than what they thought they were getting. I found everybody very friendly. This is not the place that professional mechanics shop. But, you can buy a bucket load of tools for the same price they would pay for one super Quality Tool. I was introduced to Harbor Freight by a friend that purchased a specific device from them. I'm in the same business as my friend and was impressed by the device and the price so I looked up the closest location and went by there after lunch one day. This particular location was pretty beat down, run down, and made me feel like I needed to put on my hip waders to take on the standing water in order to get into this place. Once I swam my way into the front door I toweled off and then made my way to the OBD II device that I desired. It took quite a while to locate this device because There Weren't Any. I tried to find someone that worked there but wasn't successful. Outta there! With a combination of navigation & a Lewis & Clark attitude I made it back to my workplace bummed out and 1 OBDII device short. SO, instead of searching for another one of these fine locations I turned to the internet. I ordered the device that I so desired and still a week later I have had absolutely NO communication from Harbor Freight. I emailed "customer service" (and I use that term very loosely) and again I have heard Nothing from this company. Lack of communication will always be root cause of dissatisfaction and Harbor Freight must have this in their Mission Statement.............. I really like the items they sell but if I can't get them after I pay good money for them then I don't need them. read more

I wanted to buy an indicator and magnetic base to hold it. There was one guy at check-out. Two guys were standing at the side and I ask if they were in line. They told me to go ahead of them. The girl at the register said something that I did not understand and indicated that I need to go to another register and another girl would be there soon. I got in the other line and waited and waited. The girl at the first register then checked out another guy that was behind me and then the other two guys that had let me go ahead of them. I went back to her and she told that those two guys were the last customers she would take care of and I had to go back to the other line. By that time I was number four in the other line. I finally got to check out and the computer would not accept my credit card. I call Visa and they told me there was nothing wrong with my card. The problem was with the computer in the store. I did not have any money so I left the store without the items I had come to purchase. Hell will freeze over before I ever go into another Harbor Freight store. read more
