This place is my number one place to shop for my fur babies! Everyone here is so friendly and sweet. They make it a point to remember their clients as well. I come in now and they always remember me and chat with me about how my dogs are. Working in the pet industry myself, I know there's nothing better than a staff that remembers you and your pets, it shows that they genuinely care. Also, the reorganization that has happened in this store and the sales they have are awesome. Love this place! 10/10 recommend. Won't go anywhere else to shop for my beloved fur babies! read more

We were dogsitting for a friend and needed a quick wash for the little spaniel mix. I've taken my 86 lb Weimaraner in many times so he knew the drill and could show the little how to behave. It was around 130p on a Friday afternoon, perfectly empty so I got my pick of the 3 wash bays. The staff greeted us promptly and gave me some bottles of conditioner and shampoo. I guess they were out of the small ones that aren't as good quality but I could tell they watered down the shampoo and conditioner. That's weird because if they sell it in the store, you'd think they'd want you to be impressed enough to buy a bottle? Still, quickly washed and dried the pups with their complimentary towels so that's fine! As I was checking out, I thought I'd had points built up to get a free wash. I questioned Machelle and she simply responded, it's usually printed on the ticket. After a quick glance on both sides, she just handed me back the receipt and did not offer to do any research. If you don't know, I don't know, Machelle... Yikes. It was not a good customer service experience at the check out in a store that had only one other customer inside. But for $20 to wash both dogs, it's a bargain indeed. read more

This location is at a really convenient location, it's so nice not have to go all the way to loop 288 or highland village for pet needs. It's a pretty small location but they are surprisingly well stocked especially with cat and dog food and toys etc. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They also have big bath tubs that you can wash your dogs in, I'm not sure what the cost is. It seems pretty popular, every time I've been here someone is using it. read more

The Manager and staff are so poorly trained, I placed an online order on a Monday evening knowing they wouldn't be busy (and they weren't) when I went to p/u the order after giving them what should have been more than enough time to get a single bag of dog food ready I was told that they were out of the 'puppy' flavor I ordered. I told them I would get the 'adult' flavor instead and the Mgr. completely flipped out saying I would have to cancel the order and re-order it again. I told her 'let's just switch it out here at the counter and she flipped out even more saying 'I've been here since 11:00am and I can't do that! I basically had to go get the bag of food I wanted and had already paid for online and walk out with it. Her last words were 'You're going to screw up my inventory' REALLY!? Oh, and they were SO busy that one employee was just standing around and another was giving a bird some water. read more

Honestly you can never go wrong with pet supermarket. I feel like the workers here actually love animals and are willing to help their costumers. The even give you FREE SAMPLES of their own brand of dog treats. The selection of products here is so good. They still carry brands with harmful ingredients like in other pet stores but the workers never recommend them to you. They place their best healthiest products in the front of the store and they don't advertise the harmful ones. The pet supermarket brand is actually really great as well. The treats have healthy ingredients and my puppy loves their bully sticks. If you're looking for pet stuff this is the place to go!! read more

They may not be as big as 2 of the major pet stores, but we LOVE this store! It's always super clean, and well stocked. What makes this store so great is the staff! They LOVE animals, and you can feel it! I've been taking my pup, River, here since she was a baby, and she LOVES Nancy!! And, to top it off, their self-service dog wash is only $10... I have shopped at Pet Supermarket on Teasley in Denton for a few years and have been very pleased with the helpful customer service as well as the products. That changed today and I will never shop there again. I purchased several cans of Blue cat Food that was rotten (black and smelly) and nearly a year away from its expiration date. I opened all the cans and threw them away. The assistant manager refused to offer a refund or credit and further, sent another employee out to tell me. I was told I'd have to contact corporate if I want a credit. I politely assured them that if this is how they handle such matters I will not step foot in their store again. I got a nod and a "have a nice day". So unfortunate as I intended to buy more cat food. read more

They lie about their bunnies & tell you they are dwarfs to be small their whole life but grow to be HUGE!

They have it all!!! Its smaller than the chain stores but very big feel because of all that they offer.

Absolutely astonished at the way the Manager Nancy treats her employees. I will never be giving this business my money again. For reference this used to be my favorite store. So we bought 10 fishes for our home and one didn't make it. When we bought them for this place they told us if they die we have 10 days to bring them back and get another one. So unfortunately one didn't make it so we took it back the next week,only to find out that you have to bring the water in a different bag so they can test your water. Wow!! To top it off when we arrive the front door was full of dog crap and they where have a debate over who would clean it so people could come in the store. We have two dogs and a cat so we've spent ton of money in the place but never again. So if you buy a fish from this place beware you need to have a sample of the water. This 10 dollar fish you didn't sand behind just cost you hundreds of dollars and a loyal customer. read more

The employees in here are really nice. I bought dry cat food - It was going to expire in 6 days and I didn't realize it. When I tried to take it back the manager wouldn't take it. I checked store policy after I got home and they have a 30 day return policy. So they have a good store policy - just need to make sure their manager knows. read more

Started coming when we rescued our pup. Being new to dog ownership, the employees were super helpful without pushing anything we didn't need. We now go in regularly to bath our dog. They are always super nice and accommodating to our often reluctant stinky beast. When done our dog always gets a scratch and a treat. Always feel welcome in the store and appreciated for coming in--even when we leave a sink full of hair ;-/ read more

Wow I can't say how much I love this pet store. Everyone I go in the workers are beyond helpful and nice. They never push you to buy anything and always suggest healthy options. They really care about the well being of your pet. Not to mention the store brand sells dehydrated dried liver and my dog loves these and are healthy dog treats. Also the store brand bully sticks are high quality and don't stink. 100% recommend read more

I have been into this store 3 times. NEVER AGAIN! Every single time, I have left without purchasing anything because the customer service is so substandard. You would think with their prices and the fact that they always have at least 3 employees hanging around the register, the service would be better. Nope! Very disappointing. read more

I like Pet Supermarket because It's smaller than some other pet stores. I can get in and out quickly. They carry a nice selection and variety of food and supplies. I have also used the self serve pet wash and it is a good and economical way to get your dog clean. I wish they offered grooming services. If there is something that they do not have the manager will make a note of it to see if they can get it. However, the last time I was there the young sales lady was looking for the price of the item I was purchasing and said "where the hell is the price?" Not real polite or Professional. Management needs to provide some basic training for certain salespeople in how to interact with the public. read more

Best pet store in town!!!! Costumer service is excellent the employee do take time to help every costumer so sometimes you have to wait a little bit but once you ask them they help you with everything. The store is super clean and the bath area is a must for dog owners $10 for a bath is a steal. I will be coming back every time, I don't understand some of the comments saying the associates are wasting time on the register, every time I go and I go often I am greeted when I walk in and they offer to help me every time. They have two registers but sometimes they store is sooooo full they have one employee at the register and the rest helping. I will much rather wait 5 min to pay and have the quality of service that I get here than in any other pet store. read more

I currently own two reptiles and a cat, I go to pet supermarket every weekend to get crickets and stock up on worms and sometimes get a bag of cat food, the employees are super nice, they always have a smile on their face, and they have great stock, plus the good location makes it easy to pick up some crickets, some dinner, and groceries. This store has amazing employees. They all are so helpful and always attentive. Always asking me if I need help. They staff are always so good to my 8 month old puppy who is quite rambunctious but friendly. The employees all seem to really love dogs and it makes me so happy when they love on my pup because she loves people so much. They ALWAYS offer to carry my large bag of dog food out and if I have the pup with me they always carry it. The owner should be commended on how great of staff he or she hired. read more

I like this store. It's super convenient, so if I really need something close to home I go there. But their prices are outrageous. Instinct raw dog food small breed in the 3.5 lb bag is between $24 and $26 per bag. Chewy sells the same food and delivers it for FREE for $14. Like I said, it's convenient and the staff is very nice, but if you're looking for any kind of deals, you should probably go somewhere else. They do have a nice reward program and a 10% discount for seniors the last Tuesday of the month. Also, I really like the self serve bathing area. Just ten bucks. I'd love to give them more stars, but the prices are just crazy high. read more
