    I do apologize if I seemed insensitive and I do wish you and your child well. However the basis of what was done to my babies, my babies got hurt, and I did not get the services that I requested. You mentioned that their skin was just pink, due to a low cut. However I washed them today. You can see the attached pictures of what I see and that is not pink due to a low cut. Those are clearly scabs. To sum everything up I tried to resolve this by just calling and asking for a resolution appropriately. After getting excuse after excuse of why I couldn't get my money back that was unacceptable. If refunds are distributed "at the managers discretion" that is fine. Which is why I asked for said management. Now I'm finding an even bigger scab by his eye and Im afraid of infection. Due to this I am now going to go to my vet to obtain a professional determination, and if there is any implication that this could be from grooming then that will sum up everything that has been previously spoken of. Further action will then be determined.

    I wish I can give them 0, I came here 2 times the first time nothing was wrong and the groom and hair cut everything was good the first time I went There was good. the second time I went there everything seem alright my dog was doing well then when we made it home I saw her limp and licking her leg and shaking then I new something had happened and WOW I saw cuts all over her paws the back left paw was bleeding and had a big cut!

    I AM LONG OVERDUE FOR WRITING THIS REVIEW!! DONT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! I chose not to when I had my first bad experience at Pawsome Pets because I wanted to give them a chance. I found this place on Facebook. Before my previous dog passed, I took him here. Although this place was quite a distance from my home, I chose to drive the distance in my quest to continue to support black owned small businesses. (As I oftentimes do.) My issues started when I took my 7-month-old Goldendoodle in for boarding. I dropped him off during business hours since I was leaving town the next day. Cody was over the boarding that day. At first impression, I thought he was not very personable, and somewhat socially awkward. I literally had to ask every single question to get basic information from him. I felt slightly uncomfortable but dismissed it since I had the owner's (Terran) info. It was a weird non-welcoming experience. - I also took Cody's number before leaving. A few pictures of my dog interacting with another dog, were sent to me while I was away. When I made it back to town, I called to let Cody know I was on my way. Upon arrival, Cody then said to me that I would be charged for an extra day since I picked him up after 3:00 pm. I told him that I was not aware of this and why was that not shared before I boarded him? Once again, Cody was being weird, mumbling under his voice when questioned about it, and not being personable or making any eye contact. He was giving off untrustworthy vibes or that he was not sure. It was like he was just making up some rule/fees that he came up with in the moment. I called Terran the next day and explained what happened and she contested that they did not have such a rule in place around pick up times etc. She also said that they have pet owners pick up at all times of the night, and it's just a daily rate. Terran also said she is not sure why he would have told me that, since he is typically the one covering the boarding area. Nevertheless, the owner said she would talk to him and refund the extra day charge. I was okay with that, but also decided from that day forward that I would not be using the Pawsome Pets for anything other than their grooming services. Incident #2 - My dog continued to get both Maintenace service and full grooming with no issues, until yesterday when I dropped him off and Cody was the person at the desk checking in. With my dog now being a regular there, I have always told every person that checks my dog in, that I don't like my dog shaved at all. I am okay with him being cut shorter (typically halfway) and they have had no issues doing this on every visit he has been on. I do bi-weekly maintenance myself on my dog to prevent matting and I spend quite a bit on various shampoos and conditioners to manage his coat. So at check in , Cody goes on to say that they would need to cut him short. I told him that I would want him cut to the longest length available and picked #3 from the chart . We agreed and I left. When I pick him up, he is COMPLETELY shaved and Cody goes on to tell another false truth and said I agreed upon a #5 shaving on the chart. ALTHOUGH I pointed to the exact guard level that I wanted and he said ' "OKAY " - Every single time, I have dropped my dog off, they mention something about him being matted, and it's totally not true - As a goldendoodle he does get mild tangles but not matted at all. I have not had that problem since I got him, because he is not as curly as most Doods. Even though they have always said he is matted. I always ask for hand scissor cuts and de-matting conditioner, which I told them I dent mind paying extra vs him being completely shaved off! Terran later explains to me how long it takes to do the hand scissor cut process, and that she has to have 3 people assigned to my 1 to dog fulfill MY grooming request .... SO WHY OFFER THIS AS A SERVICE IF YOU LACK THE RESOURCES PROVIDE IT? So, they chose to take it upon themselves to SHAVE MY DOG because it was FASTER than giving him the cut I asked for?! Previous reviews have had the same complaints about their doodles. As a business owner you need to be transparent with your customers if you understand what their expectations are. YOUR EMPLOYEE RESOURCES ARE NOT MY PROBLEM!! Every 8-10 weeks he had gone in for a haircut or maintenance. Although they They always say he is matted, but it has never resulted in him being completely SHAVED!!- Doodles are alot of work!! Which is why I am always bathing and brushing him at home. Minor tangles are going to happen, but the issue is they just didn't have the bandwidth to groom him the way I asked instead of just telling me this in the first damn place! Terran REFUSED to give me a refund and stated that it was best that we "part ways" as a groomer to client. As it relates to "parting ways".. I had no intention of patronizing this poorly managed unethical establishment!

    I love this place and my baby ship tzu coco Mademoiselle and I have been frequenting this facility for over 2 years now! They're warm, professional and about business. I trust my baby with them and welcome any recommendations they may have regarding her groom services! We love Pawsome Pets! Good job everyone who works here i can tell you love what you do!

    First time here a few days ago. I'm new to the neighborhood and needed to find a groomer for my 13 lb shihtzu-chihuahua asap! It was a Tuesday when I called Pawsome and their first availability was Friday, and I took that appointment. But I asked for a waitlist if anyone cancels. Sure enough, they had an opening on thursday. Yay! I appreciated the call back :) I wanted a summer cut, 7 blade, but not too short where shes completely bald, her best feature is her tail so dont cut that off either and to keep the ears a little fluffy. I believe it was Casey that I was talking to when I was in the shop. She said it would take four hours. My dog was done in exactly 4 hours. Bravo on setting the expectation there. Terran, the owner groomed my dog and she came out great! (See photos). Terran was very friendly and welcoming, she reminded me so much of my sister. My sister owns a big pet salon in CA and has been grooming for over 18 years, so I know what it's like to groom and run a shop (I use to help her run it). Its not an easy job. Especially if dealing with aggressive and/or big dogs. But you could tell, Terran loved what she did and her staff is welcoming too! The prices here are very reasonable. They have a wide variety of add on options, packaged deals etc. I got the pawsome package ( I think that's what its called) which was basically the works. Total including taxes was $73. I think for their standard groom, they said it was $48. But I wanted nailing filing and teeth cleaning so I upgraded. The facility is a clean and open work space, which is great for customers to be able to look at their dogs being worked on. Parking is ample. Located right next to State Farm. Will be coming back! I may have found my dogs forever groomer!

    My dogs had appointments on May 22nd 2021. I left the country with my mom on an emergency on May 21st. I asked my brother if he could do me the favor of taking them since I was going to be out of the country. I just got back home and my little brother showed me these pictures. This is unacceptable. If my dog has a hair knot I would rather y'all leave it instead of hurting him like this. This has completely changed my view on this business. Never again will I take my dogs here. Super disappointed, full of anger, and heartbreak. No dog should go through this.

    3/11 made appointment 3/12 changed it to 3/20. Apparently I'm the crazy lady making up these appointments in my head.

    I take all my frenchies here they are always amazing ! They are busy but always seem to take my babies in for me when needed !

    They've been grooming Cinnamon for 5 years almost. They're reliable, kind and gentle with my bichon/poodle. Love this groomer!!!

    I have been taking my three dogs here since it opened. The staff is wonderful and friendly. My dogs look great every time.

I'm not gonna lie, she does a great haircut, but Amy is not a people person or a dog person and that's not someone you want to be your groomer! The first time I brought my dog in for her first haircut, Amy was very rude to me and didn't even say hello to my dog-she just took the leash and walked away with her. I thought it was very strange but didn't know since this was my first time bringing a dog to the groomers. I like to give the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe Amy was having a bad day and that's understandable. Then this most recent second time, I had my husband bring our dog and he had the same experience that Amy was very rude and didn't even greet our dog, give her a pet, or anything. When he was trying to give her instruction on the haircut we wanted, she responded with no expression "put her up there on the table". That was it and he left. After pick up, they recommend (for the second time) that I sedate my 10 month old puppy in order to give her a haircut. I recommend, instead, that Amy put a smile on it and at least pretend to like dogs so that my dog can feel more comfortable. She does not need to be sedated- She's a 20 pound sweet puppy at the groomers for the second time and doesn't know this lady that is not trying to build any sort of relationship of comfort with her. I shared my thoughts with the owner Susie who said they are well aware that Amy is not a friendly person, but that she gives a good haircut and is going to be there for the next 14 years. I said good luck with that and that we will be moving on from them as our groomer. If it's important to you to have your dog comfortable at the groomer, have a nice person grooming your dog who actually likes dogs, etc., do not use this place.
