I like going to pet stores and looking at fish been my favorite thing since I was a kid. Petsense has a small fish tank area but it is better than nothing. This is a nice clean store never seem very busy. They have all types of dog food if you are into the fancy foods. They also have a good supply of all pet related items. My only issue is the employees will ignore you. I have walked into the store looking around and not one person will ask me if I need help. I can walk around looking for something pass them standing around talking to each other and not one will even look at me. I have been to the store about 5 times and this seems the norm. They need to improve there customer service get some training. Start talking to the customers say hi or something nice. If they were busy I would understand. read more

Made an appointment, called Twice to confirm the time, because I forgot to write it down. Showed up at my scheduled time and ... they said they couldn't find it in the system! Sorry. I live 40 miles one way from This store, that's over an hour of driving to and from the store ... for NOTHING. I've used them Numerous times in the past because I lived closer.. and used to like them ... but it seems the people working there currently are Totally Incompetent. Wasted a Big part of my day. The young girl with pink and green hair just said Sorry I don't know what happened. The manager was understanding but also was no help. This is a great location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They love it when I bring my big dog with me because they all want to pet him. The prices are good and if you find a clearance item it's even better. They even have a program where you get your dog food free after purchasing a certain amount of it over the year. They have an excellent grooming center which always loves seeing my big boy come in even though he's never too cooperative. He has big thick nails and they always do a great job of buffing them down. Finally check the schedule because they partner with VIP Petcare for lost cost per vaccinations. read more

Ive used them for years and was ok with the work (not the best) but then an ex employee texted my wife trying to poach us away.Petsense has done nothing about letting our personal info out like this without our consent. I reported it and until i emailed back they hadnt replied and all that was replied was a im sorry. For this i can not trust this company with doing business anymore and will expressively let anyone know not to do business there either. I have passed by this store several times on my way to Target. I wanted to research a new food for my dogs. The store was practically empty when I arrived. I looked around for a staff member to help me for a while. I searched far and low, and didn't find anyone... so I left! They had a pretty good selection of foods and treats. Prices were similar to what you would find at Petco or PetSmart. I didn't see anything that I couldn't get at another pet store. read more

Instability scars this location. Turnover in the grooming salon negatively impacts pets and owners alike. Have given these groomers a second chance in the past due to general satisfaction with the way they handle our dogs. Tried to schedule a weekend appointment this week, called them on Friday. Grooming salon close since the groomer called out. Called on Saturday morning and set up appointment for our two dogs for today (Sunday) at 10AM. Arrive to the salon at 10AM only to be told the groomer called out sick, again. No back up plan. No assistant groomer. Would we like to reschedule? HELL NO. Lots of independent groomers we can establish a relationship with and pay--why put up with over priced, half assed grooming--with such an unreliable shop? You've been warned, folks. read more

I think this place is just the same as any other pet store but I did notice they had some "gourmet" pet treats. The petco that's right beside my house also has pet treats you can purchase near the checkout but they aren't as neatly organized and certainly don't look gourmet. These at this store are in little clear boxes so one might think they are kept more fresh, this could be untrue however. We searched around the foods for dogs hoping we could find a more suitable food for our large breed boxer and small breed Chinese crested powder puff but found their setup unhelpful. Called in to set up appointment for grooming. Lady said tuesday but she would call me back to tell me what time as she wasnt in her office. Waited all day Tuesday with no call. Checked wednesday to see what happened and was informed that 1 of the groomers is out sick. The other 2 are very busy and wont be able to groom my pet for another week. No courtesy call or anything. Very upset with their lack of customer service and will be avoiding them at all cost. I understand things happen but give your customer heads up dont leave them hanging and then tell them another week. Will not be using them moving forward. Update: Shows how much they care about customer service 5 days and still waiting for the call from regional manager per customer service. read more

I'm granting stars for great dog food selection and and friendliness of all other staff except the older woman who I think is the manager? The older woman who works there is incredibly rude. I was checking out using cash and it seemed like such a burden for her to count the cash and issue change. I was met with sighs and eye rolls, with NO ONE standing in line behind me. Gee, sorry lady how dare I patronize your establishment? She also was rude to other staff there. She called a team member over the radio and her tone was disgusting. They do a great job grooming our Malti-Poo at a reasonable cost. He's feisty and given other groomers, such a difficult time that they have not been able to complete the groom. One groomer charged us extra because he was aggressive and they didn't even trim his head. Won't be going back there. He always comes back from pet sense looking great and they usually add note that he is a sweet little guy. Usually able to get appointment on the same day we call. read more

i rate it a zero the employees here at the grooming dept. seem to place a mussle on the dogs to charge you more. the grooming they did on my two babies was so terrible, if i would have done it myself it would of been better. you better think twice before you take them here. my two babies were so frighten when i picked them up. read more

I took my dog Scout to be groomed at Petsense for the first time. It is much closer to my house than the place I had been using which is easier on him because he doesn't like to be in the car very long. I was very impressed at the job Amy did!
