Just a mild warning for others... We have had good experiences, although just a handful or less, with leaving our pets at the resort. However, today, I learned a costly lesson. If you are just going there for any type of grooming, be sure when you schedule it that you know beforehand the cost. I looked on the Resort for Pets website, saw that a nail dremel was only $7 (did not read anything that specified they had to be staying there or make other purchases for this), called the number for the resort to schedule and was told by the woman who scheduled it that "that service" is done on the hospital side. I just said, "Oh, okay" and that was it. I assumed it was still $7 since that's what it said on the website - where I got the number that I called. However, today I took our girl in and when it came time to pay, I was charged 24.55 + tax - over three times the amount I thought it was going to cost! It felt a bit like bait and switch, but giving them the benefit of the doubt. Still a fan of the place, but lesson learned. Won't be taking our girl back for a nail dremel now that I know...so just a head's up if you are new or even fairly new to the place like us - be sure you know what they will be charging you beforehand and don't just go by what you read on the website. But I would still recommend them for keeping your fur-babies. :) read more

I have had my cat since she was a kitten, and I have never been separated from her, so i was VERY nervous about having to board her, especially because I recently moved to Fort Worth and wasn't familiar with kennels in the area. I found Resort for Pets--Haslet in a Google search and read reviews and decided to give them a shot. When I dropped of my cat, I told the ladies at the front that I was nervous (and started tearing up) and would like to see where my cat was going to be (just to see the set up and have peace of mind). They were happy to do so. They told me they let the cats out one at a time during the day to get some exercise, which made me feel a little better. They told me about the extra services that they offer which I was interested in if I took her again. During my cat's stay (5 days) I got three report cards with minimum 4 photos and they updated her feeding/eating habits throughout the day. This gave me SO MUCH peace of mind. When I picked up my cat, the ladies gushed and gushed about how sweet my cat is and how great she did. This place is seriously so awesome. I really felt like they went above and beyond what I was expecting and they gave my sweet baby all kinds of love. I will be taking her back again. My only critique is I wish they offered Sunday pick-up/drop-off but it's not at all a deal breaker for me. read more

We are so thankful we found this place. When our Georgia was a puppy she was abused by her groomer and had been terrified about the grooming process ever sense. I have been going to another groomer and every time I picked her up the groomers acted put out by her and she was very eager to leave. My veterinarian recommended Resort for Pets, so I gave them a shot. They were extremely welcoming and kind. I appreciated that they were on top of the overall experience, making sure shot records were up to date and asking if my pup had any "quirks". When I dropped her off I gave them her history and they were very kind. When I picked Georgia up she was happy. She was wagging her tail! She was happy and calm! I cried I couldn't believe this was my dog! Plus the cut was adorable, they did a great job. I can't recommend this place enough. We recently moved to Texas and were in need of a vet. We found Resort for Pets and immediately felt "home" - our dog would also agree! The staff is always sweet and treat our fur baby as their own. We now take him to "Doggy Day Care" twice a week and his butt starts to wiggle as soon as we say those words. He would drive himself to doggy day care every day if he could. They always call to check on our fur baby after any doctor visits and always send pictures whenever he's there for doggy day care or longer stays. We highly recommend Resort for Pets & Little Leaf! I can't say enough good things about Resort for Pets-Haslet. The entire staff is proactive, professional and personable. I love the "Report Card" with pictures. The exterior and interior is clean and welcoming. Being able to book times needed and kennel size on line is a plus. The groomers do an excellent job keeping my boy's nails trimmed properly. Their exercise program is one of the best. There's never a worry when my boy needs a place to stay for a day, night or several days...big plus. read more

It is so nice to have a groomer that knows how to groom my particular breed, and she does a great job. She always takes care of my special requests with no issues. I would recommend her for any breed. I will always take my pet to this office. It is obvious that they love my pet, and take care of her accordingly. We've had the pleasure of boarding our pet her twice. The staff has been friendly and helpful each time and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. Our dog has done very well here and comes home healthy and clean (they even offer a complimentary exit bath for pets staying 3+ nights). We also enjoying receiving report cards with pictures, so we always know how she's doing, if she's eating, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of this service. read more

Jingles and I have spent two years plus with Boat Club Pet Resort and they are family! We became part of their family on DAY ONE and it continued until we moved to Haslet. We now have introduced ourselves to the Haslet Pet Resort and you know what? We immediaely became family members. Resort for Pets is great! We have 2 French Bulldogs that we take all the time for Stay and Play and they love it. Not to mention evening walks are not necessary after coming home from Stay and Play, they are wore out! The Staff is great, supper friendly and it's also nice having doctors and vet techs colocated in the same building. Resort for Pets is one of the nicest I've been to. They make it super convenient for a working dog parent like myself! Having a veterinarian right on sight if your dog may need shots or anything you can drop him off and head to work and know he's taken care of! Their booking system is all online and the pre-paid passes makes my life super easy! I'm so glad my pup is able to play and be around other dogs a few days a week. read more

We have been using Resort for Pets in Haslet for several months and we are very happy. We have boarded our Yorkie as well as have him groomed. The staff is very friendly, professional and caring. The daily report card is a great feature when Frankie is being boarded and Makenzie always makes him look great during his grooming. I have had my labradoodle groomed here numerous times and am amazed by the facility and staff every time. Gabrielle has done such a great job. My dog is older and has some health issues. Gabrielle makes sure my dog is comfortable and well taken care of during the grooming process. The staff is so friendly and it is the cleanest veterinary clinic I've ever seen. Paddington absolutely LOVES going to play and stay. We have tried others, but they are not the same as the Resort for Pets. Paddington comes home happier after each daycare session and he loves the friends he is making. Always nervous about leaving Mooney at new places but the staff was very welcoming and made us feel at ease. While we were out of town we got a report card on how he was adjusting which made us realize he was in good hands.
