I can only speak for the self service area of this place but I was extremely disappointed and will not be returning. I ran in here because it's right by our house and where I take our golden doodle for self service washes was closed. I found the bath to be really disgusting. You can tell they do not wash those tubs between dogs. There were chunks of dog hair all over. The big shock came when I went to check out. I wasn't even there 30 minutes total and it was $35. I asked if this was normal pricing and she said yes it's extra for the shampoo. I am used to paying $15 to use the self service at our very reputable grooming location just a mile down the road. that price includes shampoo, conditioner, towels, brushes and everything. not really sure how they get by with charging this much. I guess that's how they push so many to join their monthly wash club. read more

If you have an older dog that does not do well with grooming, this is the place to go. I have a 15 y.o. dog that desperately needed some grooming, but she is so weak it is difficult for her to stand for any length of time. I talked with Shannon and Amanda and they came up with a plan (scheduled her when they weren't too busy, allowed her to take breaks from standing, moving slowly so she did not become anxious etc.) and my dog did beautifully! Well that was the rudest experience I have EVER had! I understand their concern on Justice being 9, 10 in July. (Apparently I did mistakenly write his birth year wrong when filling out the appt online. I accidentally wrote he was 8.5. His correct age which was shown on the shot records I sent by text after they requested them 2 days ago showed he is 9.5) But whoever was texting me from their location after asking multiple questions, STILL confirmed my appointment to bring him today. Apparently communication in correspondence between appt takers and groomers doesn't exist. But the groomer legitimately stood there and said she would not groom him today no matter what. I do respect their concern and the safety of justice in the grooming process, however the manner by which it was stated was rude and unneeded. When I asked about my deposit she very rudely stated a oh don't worry you won't be paying anything for this, but you CAN leave now. In one of the rudest voices and attitudes ever. If you don't want to service animals that's fine. But refuse in a respectful manner to prospective clients AND make sure everyone at your place of business IS ON THE SAME PAGE! Love this place! Our little mans needed a bath real my bad, and this was just the Spaw treatment he needed. The woman working was so nice and helpful getting us set up. The tubs are very clean. The shampoos provided smell great. One thing I loved is the water temp is set so it wont get scalding hot no matter how hard you try. They also provide brushes and a separate room for blow drying which can probably save other dogs from anxiety attacks if thats going on next to you. Our Finley Rose was in desperate need of pampering, so we took her to Bubbly Paws and used their self service wash. The large tub and sprayer made giving her a bath a breeze, and the fact that they provide the shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaner, brushes, towels, and blowdryer were also a huge plus. The amount of time we saved in cleaning up our own personal shower, washing the towels, drying time, and dog hair everywhere was well worth the $20! We will definitely be back! read more

I hate to write this review but I need to warn others so hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else. I took both (2) of my dogs in on a Sunday, by Tuesday we were in the Emergency Vet. They had contracted a skin infection called Post Grooming Furunculosis. One of my dogs is older and has Addison's disease so she plummeted quickly and had to stay overnight for 2 nights to figure out what was happening. It wasn't till my other dog yelped when I touched his back the vet looked for skin lesions. Sure enough they both had it. High fevers, sores, everything. They are better and taking meds now but it was horrible and painful for them. I informed Bubbly Paws management but was quickly brushed off as "no one else has said anything like this". I may be the first and hopefully the last but be aware and keep an eye out for your babies! **UPDATE** Here are screenshots of the response I got from my review and what I said back. They blocked and deleted the interaction on Facebook shortly after. I have now been in touch with corporate and have been told I will be contacted Monday. read more

Do NOT recommend. The groomer and receptionist were rude. I scheduled a grooming appointment the week after I adopted my dog and told them I didn't know if he had ever been groomed so he might need to be slowly introduced to things (and I told them that when scheduling the appointment). They messaged me a few hours later and said they couldn't blow dry him and he would have to air dry. If you know anything about golden retrievers, "air drying" is not a thing. He smelled horrible when I picked him up and his undercoat was obviously still wet. They also mentioned an instance where he could have been seriously injured and made it seem like my fault. They were condescending when I picked him up and said I need to work on a long list of things... Like they didn't hear me when I said it was likely his first grooming ever? I would give this place 0 stars if I could! UPDATE! This is how they decided to treat me after posting my review. What a professional business! They apparently have a video of me in the lobby doing absolutely nothing and being kind even when picking up my poor wet & smelly dog. I should have refused to pay $100 when I saw my dog was still wet but I'm a nice person who typically avoids conflict. We spent a lot of time and effort getting our toy breed dog's coat to be where it's at. We brush and style his hair every day. He had a few mats underneath his coat where his 'arm pits' are. I thought they might trim off or around these areas, no big deal. We expected the Bubbly Paws breed specific groomer to do a wash, trim, etc. just as general maintenance. However, they shaved his entire coat off including his head/top knot. They claimed he was too matted. They shaved him so close to the skin he had clipper burns on his belly and scrotum. We had to take him to the vet for treatment. Unfortunately we cannot trust Bubbly Paws. Now it's going to take another year to grow our poor dog's coat back to where it was! I also see from several previous reviews, that they will remain defensive instead of accepting their groomers may have made a mistake or had any kind of wrongdoing. read more

After countless calls to many groomers in the area that ALL told us that our mini doodle would have to be shaved down we went to Bubbly Paws. Kristin was honest, and took time to make sure our mini doodle did not end up getting shaved. I appreciate the honestly, and amazing professionalism. I came into Bubbly Paws today asking if they could fit my dog in for grooming. They said yes and began to do the service. In the meantime ,I waited to pay. After 15 minutes the girl at the register could not figure out the system. She was going to charge me 60 dollars for a basic wash and nails on a 30 lb dog. When I said that's way more than I have ever paid here. The girl bathing him walks over leaving him alone to almost strangle himself trying to jump out of the tub. She starts arguing with me that there's no rabies on here. I explained he just came from boarding and is current on everything. When I asked again to just be able to pay the bill the girl with my dog comes out with him wet and says hete he's free. I've got two dogs, and I won't take them any where else. Our yellow lab (Loki) suffers from anxiety (think Tweak from South Park, but with 4 legs). Washing him is a chore, as he goes through all the emotions during the course of a wash. Never aggression, but excitement and nervousness. Diesel is our laid back chocolate lab, and doesn't care what's going on 90% of the time. Both of these guys love Bubby Paws. The staff is excellent, and responsive. I receive texts letting me know how the dogs are doing, and when they'll be ready. The people at this place seem to honestly care about your pets, and love what they do. Insists that the dog will need a longer appointment if they have not been seen in 6 months (even if the dog has been groomed elsewhere), only to charge more and to pressure you in to being a regular customer. Stated that "for the safety of your elderly dog...." which is nonsense since my dog is regularly seen at several grooming places and has never once had an issue with needing more time nor careful handling. He's completely healthy and calm with every groomer. It's all about trying to add charges or get out of their commitments. Will not return phone calls after changing appointment times randomly via text notifications. As others have mentioned they are absurdly rude. This place is great, the owners are great, staff is great and the facilities are great. I'm not a big fan of their shampoo, but I use a shampoo specifically for my white lab, so I just bring my own. He's a puppy (12 months old.) we walk in and she immediately comments I can see he is matted from here. Yes exactly that's why we're here. She says she won't help us for less than $500. When I say we just need him shaved she says he will ruin her tools. She walked away and said over her shoulder good luck finding someone. Thankfully I did - and they were amazing. Shaved, bathed and super happy pup for $120. We've never owned this breed before and we're learning. We definitely learned not to go there. Try Pet Parlor on Main Street - sweetest people ever. Terrible experience. Just moved to the area and checked out local groomers... Got quoted before making an appt and was charged over 3x the amount quoted. Got my dog back and no groomer has ever done such a poor job. Everyone who sees my dog says there is no way that's your dog, did they give you a different dog? The groomer said she was matted because her comb couldn't get through an area on her back but completely shaved her and even shaved her eyelashes? So disappointed with the entire experience. I have never paid so much for a grooming appt. Other groomers have shaved her down but not like this and definitely not for this price. read more

They will up charge you I asked multiple times were there be any additional charges and they told me no my charge was supposed to be $70 but it ends up being more about $30 more so I was not happy with my husband brought the dog home and told me what he was charged told him it should've only been 70 then my husband went into the hospital could not take the dogs in. They charged me $140 no-show fee, this is ridiculous she said she told me the owner that they had a no-show fee. She never ever told me this I just found this out today and the appointment was last Saturday so it's taking her three days to even get back with me and discuss this she will not talk to me on the phone. She hast to do everything by text. Do not like this. I Do not like their customer service. I will never be back at this location due to poor customer service. They should be honest and upfront when you ask questions and not overcharge you and $140 is a little extreme when you have an emergency and you have to call to see if she wants to give you your money back she may not that is what I was told ridiculous. read more
