I'm not sure if anyone has this issue, but we've had such a hard time finding a groomer who can give Tillie the "poodle" cut. She was given to us by someone who didn't want her, and it was entire learning process figuring out how to keep her well groomed. I already have two yorkies and they are a bit lower maintenance than toy poodles. The first two groomers I took her her to basically buzzed her and gave her a very uneven hair cut even though she wasn't matted. Anne's has always made Tillie look so beautiful and I've been so happy with how she smells and her haircut. I think my girl loves going to see the staff as well! They are always so welcoming and friendly. I'm finally taking my yorkies tomorrow and have no doubt they will look fabulous when they walk out!

The minute we walked in I knew we made a good choice. The two young men at the counter were extremely friendly and I could tell they loved dogs. Everyone in the shop is so kind, and genuinely love what they do. We have a Scottish Terrier and a Maltipoo--Sherlock and Bailey. Our Maltipoo was a rescue, she still has issues with strangers. But she was so calm, her groomer said Bailey was so sweet and easy for her groom! So, basically, we have found a groomer we will stick with!! We had hopped around to follow our former favorite groomer, but he has now moved on to working in tech and the previous place sold to new management. We had to seek a new place. After combing through reviews of all places near our home (76244) I settled on Pride and Groom 100% because of good reviews. I am so glad I did! My dogs were nothing but adorable and happy after the groom. I am so grateful for Pride and Groom!!!

(Apparently I did mistakenly write his birth year wrong when filling out the appt online. I accidentally wrote he was 8.5. His correct age which was shown on the shot records I sent by text after they requested them 2 days ago showed he is 9.5) But whoever was texting me from their location after asking multiple questions, STILL confirmed my appointment to bring him today. Apparently communication in correspondence between appt takers and groomers doesn't exist. But the groomer legitimately stood there and said she would not groom him today no matter what. I do respect their concern and the safety of justice in the grooming process, however the manner by which it was stated was rude and unneeded. When I asked about my deposit she very rudely stated a oh don't worry you won't be paying anything for this, but you CAN leave now. In one of the rudest voices and attitudes ever. If you don't want to service animals that's fine. But refuse in a respectful manner to prospective clients AND make sure everyone at your place of business IS ON THE SAME PAGE! I've used each of these at least half a dozen times and I've never had a bad experience. Professional, timely, warm, and never make me feel like I'm asking too much as far as questions and clarification. My only critique would be their primary veterinary care. Initially, we began routine veterinary services here but we would end up waiting upwards of 30 minutes to even get into a room, let alone see the veterinarian. And the prices are more expensive than my current primary veterinarian just a few miles away. We have since switched the primary care vet for my dog. BUT, I highly recommend any other service Creekside provides, I always know my pup is receiving excellent care here and I'm very grateful for the work they do.

The tech was amazing--very attentive and asked all the right questions. I was also glad to see Dr. Cristina Bettencourt again; she was just as wonderful as before. Together, they quickly came up with a plan and got Cinnamon treated with antibiotics, meds, and food to help his appetite. Cinnamon isn't just a pet--he's my constant companion and part of the family, so it's hard seeing him not feel like himself. I'm hopeful he'll start improving in the next couple of days. Overall, it was one of the best vet visits I've had in a long time.

They took one look at him and knew he was bad off. They immediately took my baby and rushed him to the back and begin working on him. They allowed me to stand there and observe everything they did to my King. I am a medical person and I am familiar with the processes of triage patients with emergencies. The physician performed a sonogram and began to tell me my options of care. I had to make the most difficult decision in my life. I decided not to be selfish and to have my King put to rest. This facility not only comfort me, but my family as well. They gave us a room and told us to take our time, they offered refreshments and continually checked on us. They just went out of their way with compassion and concern. I have never experienced this type of Customer Service in my entire life. It made me and my family feel heard and understood about our wishes. Once my family completed our goodbyes and they put our King to rest, they comfort my family, some even shared tears with us. They gave us things to remember our baby boy King that I will cherish forever.This hospital will always hold a special place in my heart. This is a place that I would love to work at and be proud to say that I worked there because each and every person who works in that building are Gods angels, and truly care about the animals that they treat. I will always be grateful. I know this was God's plan because it all went perfectly. Yes, I left without a dog, but I now have a new family that I would cherish with my other pets. Thank you again to each and every one of the staff who comfort my family, who gave my comforting hugs and who helped my King. I pray that this establishment continue to employee such phenomenal people who I believe are Angels. I would recommend this pet hospital anyone will listen. I am forever grateful.

I am 4 months into a UTI issue with one of my dogs and they cannot give me a solution that works, we've tried 3 different kinds of antibiotics and I have made the infection impossible to treat now. The correct approach looking back was to do a full urinalysis and know exactly the type of bacteria so we could target it correctly out of the gate. They didn't suggest that until we had 2 full failed rounds and then when we did the test their lab left the urine out too long and got inconclusive results. Nonetheless, I continued on with round 3 of antibiotics, finished it last week and the dog is peeing in the house again today. Taking him to another vet now and looking back this process just makes me furious. I've spent close to 10k on visits, medicine, new food, supplies for my house and I had to get new floors... all without even having a solution. People should know about my experience and I hope no one else has one similar.

We have been to Dr. Gwynn several times, usually for our cats, Marco & Polo…read more Once, I even brought in a turtle, that I "rescued" as it ambled across Rufe Snow. I wanted to learn what kind of turtle, and the environment I should release it (far from busy roads). I did. But this last visit was a sad one. Polo developed a tumor, on his lower jaw, several months back. Options included risky surgeries (mandibulectomy), or traditional cancer therapies (chemo), that would greatly diminish his quality of life, and only marginally extend it. We did get several evaluations, all the same, grim, recommendations. The only real option, was enjoy Polo until the growth affected his well being, and then humanly end his suffering. That day was two days ago (9/8/2020). We brought Polo in to be humanly euthanized (I really do not like the term "put to sleep"). Writing this makes me sad, so let me finish by saying Dr. Gwynn and her staff were caring and compassionate every step of the way. I was able to stay with Polo, the entire time, right up his last breath and heartbeat. Toward the end, after the first shot, a tranquilizer, he even started purring. I like to think it was because he was no longer in pain, and that he could see me, and feel me holding him. It was, and continues to be, very sad. But I (we) are happy that Polo is no longer suffering. We are very grateful to Dr. Gwynn and her staff for their help with this difficult thing to do. Bottom line: We will miss you Polo, always.

We came here to get our bun spayed, and the surgery went fine, but she was kind of rough with our girl. If she had been gentler, I probably would have switched all care to Dr. Gwynn immediately. This kind of treatment would really make me upset if it were towards my dogs, but rabbits are fragile and can literally die of a heart attack at loud noises, so this is quite a serious issue.

Over the last 18 months we have had one crazy thing happen after another, it started with a new…read morepuppy and my vet of 20 years couldn't get us in. For new puppy wellness check. So we somehow lucked into finding Dr. Daugette at City Vet Keller. I know that City Vet is a chain, but Dr. D is far from being a chain veterinarian. She has been there for us at every turn, from ear infections to surgeries, life-threatening diseases to random agencies they are texting us on the weekends, answering emails late on a Saturday night, to conferring with specialist to seek possible answers when they seem like there were none. Our dog was diagnosed with a rare disease that took the life of her sister a few short years ago. I also lost my very first dog to this disease never believing that any dog could come back from it, because it just was so terrible. Each dog was treated and each dog eventually passed away. However, this time was different. She sought out specialists. She tried all different kinds of options and not only is our dog off most of the the medication's now. They really difficult on her body, but at 11, her numbers are back now in the normal range and it is nothing short of a miracle! We have a dog that is diabetic on two shots a day. We have a dog that has attacked our other dogs, and she has taken care of our babies like they were her own. We had a dog that had to be rushed into emergency surgery and if not for their care, she would no longer be with us. My husband and I got together late in life and we're not able to have a baby, so our dogs are the family that we loved dearly. This place has the vest vibes. The staff from the moment you walk in the door they are just different. They remember all of our dog's names and are excited to see them when they come. I can honestly say they treat them like they were their own. I trust Dr, D her advice and recommendations 100% without hesitation. She is always willing to work with us and explore any and all options, she spends time with you in the examination room, and we feel like her and the team there at City Vet are part of our extended family. I left my bed that I had been moved for 20 years because never and all this time have I ever been as cared for as we feel as City Vet Keller. If you are looking for a place that cares more about people and pets than make an appointment and you will see for yourself I promise. The last 18 months have been pretty awful in terms of how many doctor visits we have had to make and org /ical I/ situations emergency and otherwise it has been a huge financial investment, but all of our children a.k.a. puppies are still alive and kicking... even thriving! I know in my heart that bat is due to the team at City Vet Keller and the incredible Dr Daugette, hopefully I'm spelling that correctly. We cannot thank you enough through all the past 18 months from the laughs, to tears, over active Expression glands and all the stressful moments in between. You have supported us each step of the way going above and beyond what anyone else has ever done and I cannot thank you enough! This is the best experience paws down! They have been incredibly awesome, Dr. Daugette has the incredible gift, well tuned, as a good diagnostician. Rare to find in people docs or pet doctors these days. This has been a true blessing. I have brought my dog to Dog de Salon 3 times now. I have been consistently very pleased with them. I have to say this is the first place that made my sheltie look so much lighter! (Check out pictures on their website.)When i came here for the first time they explained that to reduce shedding on my dog i will need to brush it several times a week and at least monthly to bring it to them for a professional bath and brush. I am so glad i listened! The dog hair in my house is down to minimum now. I do brush Hammi regularly myself too, but it does not come close to how he looks like when i pick him up from Dog de Salon. I can tell he feels so much better too. They recommended a partial trim next time. I will definitely try that. They have a monthly subscription when you can bring your dog in for unlimited bath and brush. It sounds like it will work for Hammi, but i am still thinking. I learned that the front desk lady is actually the owner. She is always very sweet and informative. First time i was here, i stayed for a few minutes to watch them work and it was so peaceful, they are so gentle to animals. I used to be a nervous wreck when leaving Hammi, who can be difficult at times, at a groomer, but not any more. My heart is at peace when i leave him here for his bath and brush. It means so much to know that you can leave your dog here for a few hours and know that he is in good hands. This salon is a 20 min drive for me but it is worth it. read more

This place is AMAZING! I looked up grooming salons in the area and was pleasantly surprised when I came across Dog de Salon only 10 minutes from my house. This was my dogs first trim/haircut and they were so nice about the whole thing. I called on a Sunday to make an appointment and they said no need, to just come in and they would squeeze us in after the morning rush since all he needed was a trim around his face and belly. When we got there, we waited maybe 1 minute before we were called back and they even allowed me to stay with my dog to make the experience more comfortable and give him treats. The girl grooming him was so gentle and really took the time to make sure he was at ease during the process. They did an exceptional job with my 2 1/2 month old Shih Tzu puppy, Tucker, and this will definitely be our new groomer! Thank you so much Dog de Salon! read more

I've recently moved, and in trying to find a new salon, I've realized how truly incredible they were at Dog de Salon. It is obvious to me that everyone at Dog de Salon from the owner to her staff loves their job. They take great care of all of their clients. They always say that their first priority is making the grooming process stress free, but I also think my dog looks great after her visits. I had a couple questions when I first came, and even though the owner wasn't on the premises that day, she took the time to call me personally and make sure I had the information I needed. After several months, I even felt comfortable seeking her advice when I was considering adopting another dog. I know that they are the best in town and am now seriously considering driving out (from Carrollton) every time my schnoodle needs a trim. read more

I read the reviews and even though they were negative i wanted to find out for myself. I was visiting my parents and my dog needed a haircut. We were greeted with a big smile and a handshake the groomer asked me how i would like my yorkie groomed.I gave my grooming instructions and also brought a picture. I returned 2 hours later and my yorkie looked just like the picture. The customer service was very caring and professional .The haircut was neat and the nails were nicely filed.I tend not to believe all the bad or good reviews i read,i like to find out for myself.I am happy i came to dog de salon.Thank you all for a wonderful experience,we will come again when we are in town. read more

Love this place! They take such good care of Hank while he is there to be groomed and do a fantastic job! He always looks so handsome when I pick him up. The staff is very friendly (both with the pets and their owners). I had a mobile groomer who could no longer groom large dogs due to back issues and I was lost for a while until I found Dog de Salon. I have been taking my two maltease dogs to Pet smart for 6 years, They would always shake and try and crawl up me. I took both of them to Dog De Salon and they did not shake at all. Dog De Salon is a GREAT PLACE to take your pets, they do a wonderful job and plus they do not keep your dogs all day. I was very impressed and etremely pleased with there service. I brought my sheltie (Abby) in to be groomed and bathed. I was pleased with our whole experience at the salon. The groomer trimmed her as I asked just a partial grooming which included paws, privates, nails, legs, and a little overall shape up. This was my first time to take my golden and lab to Dog de' Salon. They made sure there were no surprises, first they confirmed what papers I needed from my vet prior to the appointment, then the day of the appointment the groomer explained the grooming procedures and she was great with both dogs. I took my Lhasa Lucy here for the first time today. I was nervous as she is somewhat of a pill to groom and we have had more than a few bad experiences in the past. They did an amazing job! We love dog de salon! We've been taking our rescue Yorkie here since we've adopted her almost 3 years ago. The staff is so friendly and warm and always fits her in and works with our schedule. Our family just adopted a rescue pug and it was her first spa day with her big brother and the team at Muddy Pup was so caring and gentle with our rescue, our family can't thank you enough! We were nervous to take our rescue pug knowing what her past couple months have looked liked but Muddy Pup let us know she was more timid and needed big brother, they even let her air dry instead of using the dryers since they could see she was a bit more overwhelmed. This attention to detail meant so much to my husband and I! We know our rescue will enjoy her spa days more and more as time goes on but we also know the team at Muddy Pup will help ensure she is comfortable and my husband and I have so much peace of mind knowing when they go to the spa they are in the best hands! They were booked up for a week so I asked to call me if they had a cancellation, since we live a mile away. Sure enough they called at the end of that week with a last minute availability. The minute we walked in I knew we made a good choice. The two young men at the counter were extremely friendly and I could tell they loved dogs. They explained the process and even took notes from what my wife's wishes were for Leo's trimming. He was there several hours and when I picked him up he looked great. They did a very good job and we were very pleased. I have to add slightly cheaper than our last place too. So now we have a new go to for our dogs grooming!

Since switching to EarthWise, we couldn't be happier. They always do an amazing job, everyone is incredibly kind, and Caitlin has my big fluffy guy looking his best in about two hours. I should have written this review a year ago, but what finally prompted me to do it was an experience I had recently with one of my foster dogs. He's a 5-month-old puppy who had spent his entire life tied outside on a rope, so he was absolutely terrified of leashes and unfamiliar places. He would plant his feet and refuse to move. At 55 pounds, he's already a strong boy! I managed to get him close to the front door, but he simply would not go inside. The staff was unbelievably patient and compassionate. They brought out treats to encourage him, but when he was too scared to take them, they never rushed him or forced the situation. Instead, they gave him the time and space he needed to feel as comfortable as possible. When it became clear he wasn't going to walk in on his own, they gently picked him up and carried him inside so he could get his bath. After he was all cleaned up, they refused to let me pay. That level of kindness and empathy meant so much to me--and even more to a puppy who had already had such a rough start in life. I would have happily paid extra for the care they showed him. Businesses like this deserve to be recognized, and I will continue to support EarthWise and recommend them to anyone looking for groomers who truly care about both pets and their people.

My dog became an International Champion from their self-dog bath. Nicole knows a lot about nutrition. Bridgett is clear and nice when you get to know her. Their pale yellow shampoo at the self bath and coconut oil helped my dog's skin improve (due to hormone imbalance), it may come and go or gone but their mild shampoo works far better than my show line shampoo. My dog has not had skin issue for over 6 months :) I'm pleased with this store.

They smelled so wonderful and still do after a week since there appointment. I really have no complaints. The place was very cute and clean. I called and set an appointment right away but what took me away (good way) the owner or stylist blocked off the hour for just my cats so no dogs were barking or too loud. Kim was really knowledgeable and helpful. My cats were nervous but that's normal because they don't usually get groomed. I wash them at home but this will be my regular place.
