This place used to be so great, took my dog here for 8 years. after an owner or manager left it totally went to shit. my dog used to be so excited to get a bath and now when we pull up he hide in the side of the car and won't get out. They called one day and said my he was having a seizer and to come pick him up early but they forgot to hang up the phone and I got to hear them yelling to "put this god damn dog in the kennel". Zero star. CHARGED $800 for two Newfoundland after quoting $150 per dog and we added deshed for $80 so should have been $550. Then owner calls knowing that he is wrong before I can call to complain and says we misunderstood and even is trying to argue what I paid for last two grooming at Pappys Pet Lodge which was $400 total including tip! I've been taking my dogs here for for quite some time. I've always requested the same girl, but she has never come out to greet me or my girls. She did a decent job on grooming but both of my girls were always fearful of going. I think I realized why as the latest visit my wheaten was missing all of her eyelashes on one eye but not the other. I asked the groomer if my dog had been anxious and caused this. The groomer said she didn't notice it happened and shrugged her shoulders with a reply that they'll grow back. Yes, they will, but the nonchalant attitude causes me fear returning as it could have been her eye that was clipped. We will not be returning. read more

We've been struggling to find a good match for Wonka's (our little fur dude) hot mess express upkeep routines, and I'm so relieved to say that the search is over now that we found Dog de Salon ! My dog Jello is the sweetest big chicken dog on earth. She has previously shut places down cause she whines inconsolably even before the first nail is touched. Our golden retriever LOVES her visits to this sweet salon. They greet her like an old friend and she's happy to be there. They do an amazing job on her summer shave, brushing teeth, clipping nails and bathing. Recently we had 2 ladies who may be mother and daughter. They lacked experience in trimming dogs nails. One of the ladies tried to muzzle our pug!!! Took my Cocker Spaniel here. I like his hair cut real short and the couple of groomers i took him to before never could get it right. They would always cut his body hair short and his facial/head hair long. It looked so awkward. Now that I've been taking him to Dog de Salon he looks SOOO much better and exactly how I like. I wasn't able to pick him up right away last time and they took him out to go to the bathroom for me. Which other groomers have never offered to do. We got a dog from the humane society who was not use to getting groomed. His first time going to Dog De Salon was a bit scary for him; he was very anxious and skittish. The owner and groomers were EXCELLENT with Sulley, and they worked with him to get him comfortable with the grooming process. He goes regularly now with no anxiety or apprehension. The cut looks okay and the people were nice, but they just charged me for a large dog for my 19 pound puppy. Definitely not returning.

With two standard poodles, who are more like our furry children and not "dogs" (dog lovers know what I mean!), we're really picky about who we entrust with caring for our dogs in every way. The staff at Dog de Salon in Keller has always been polite and caring. Sometimes it does get really hectic and busy there, but no one has ever been rude or impatient with me there; they're friendly and always happy to see us. My dogs seem happy when they go in and when they leave, and believe me, I've seen them put on the brakes when I've taken them back to other groomers in the past. That's an obvious sign that something is wrong when a dog does that! The staff keeps notes on how you like your dog to look, what to do and what not to do. If you want to make changes, just tell them when you call to make the appointment and tell them again when you drop your dog off for grooming. That's what I've done, and it's worked perfectly. My doggies and I give them two paws up. read more

Dog de Salon did a great job in cleaning up our dogs shaggy fur! The groomer was very nice and even played with our dog while I was checking out. He smelled good--ears were cleaned--and my dog seemed happy! I've gone to another salon in the area that was cheaper, but I would find cuts/gashes on my doc. This salon seemed to do a good job of taking their time and doing their best! Only negative in my opinion is its a little pricey. read more

This is the first review I have ever written, but I felt it was necessary to warn others about my experience with this salon. If I could have chosen zero stars, I would have. First of all, I know that no one is perfect so I was not too upset when I brought my dog home and she had a cut above her eye. I called the shop just to let them know and treated it with Neosporin. It became infected so then I called them to let them know. They wanted to see her. I brought her in and the groomer and receptionist/mgr. agreed that it was cut and that I had called when it happened to let them know. We agreed to let the vet look at it and if he felt the infection were due to the cut, they would pay. The vet said that there were cuts above her eye and they had become very infected. When I returned to Dog de Salon, the manager/receptionist said that they would not help pay and I should know there are risks when you get your pet groomed. I asked to speak to the owner and was told that he would not talk to me and that I should just take my dog and leave and never come back. I was too much trouble. The owner was on the phone talking to the receptionist. She said she no longer remembered me ever calling them and she was crying, It was obvious that she was having to say that. I have never been treated like that by any business and was quiet devastated when this happened. It is obviously due to the owner, not the groomers. read more

Back in September of 2009, my husband and I were killing some time in a local strip mall and noticed Dog de' Salon. They were closed but we decided to look in the windows to check them out. As soon as we started to look, a nice young lady got up from behind the desk and opened the door for us to come in and take a look. Crystal showed us around and answered all of our questions. A few weeks later, I finally got the time to take my Pomeranian, Delilah, in for a spa day. She gets so nervous when we take her for a bath/cut, as she favors a leg that was broken as a pup and doesn't like anyone to brush it. When we arrived, Crystal lovingly got to know Delilah before she took her for her bath, making sure that my baby was comfortable with her. We discussed my preferred style for Delilah and I left to run some errands. A few hours later my call came that she was ready. As I walked in the door there were several "parents" dropping off and picking up, all of which enjoyed chatting with each other and playing with everyone's fur-babies. Boy was I surprised at how everyone loved being there! As my girl was brought out, she was happy as a clam! And boy did she look GREAT! She was not one bit nervous like she had been at other establishments! And the style was exactly what I wanted! I can not say enough about Crystal and Dog de' Salon! This will be the only salon Delilah will every visit from now on! read more

We have been taking our dogs here for awhile and have been pleased, until recently. The owner has had a baby and isn't there very often. The prices have gone up dramatically and my dog got the most awful haircut there last week. I think I could have done a better job, and that is saying A LOT! BEWARE-read all of the reviews on social media and the owners responses before making a decision to bring your beloved pet to this so called grooming business. My daughter took our Collie here with specific instructions to ONLY tunnel his belly out and they called her an hour later stating they had to shave all of him because he 'looked funny' (see their comments to my review on FB) we had a beautiful dog with a full coat and they shaved all of it off. From what I understand this used to be a good salon but now they have new owners that not only have no respect for their customers wishes but they then trash them on social media making false accusations otherwise known as slander (which is illegal).
